    its Ryan it literally has to be it would be way more interesting if he knew versus Lanie, Martha, or Alexis. Plus he is the only detective that was still allowed to be a cop at the end of Always.

    oh my! If Ryan is saying that, then I wonder if Kate is going to be worried. Last time I checked, he totally broke their pack of keeping Captain's sercret (that they had) by him telling everything to Gates. Will she give him another chance since he saved her?

    Castle loves its puns so maybe the case of the week involves a safe. I'd be suspicious that the title was about Rick and Kate but Castle's titles are always about the main plot and not about personal subplots.

    If they were to keep it a secret, it would probably only be kept from Gates and since neither of them are working at the precinct at the moment it's probably not an issue yet.

    I thought I read somewhere they werent keeping it a secret but they also werent going out of their way to tell anyone, people were just going to find out as they went along. I wonder if this episode will be in the summer or after a time jump?

    Stana gave an interview and implied that she felt that they would keep it a secret and work on figuring things out. I'm not sure when that was given, as they only just started filming and most of the cast only just got the script for Episode 1 last week, but I would not be surprised to see them just keep it between the two of them and just have people gradually figure it out. They'd really be losing a lot of comedic opportunities otherwise. Plus, I think Castle would be delighted and find it all very 'secret agent'... and very hot!! I could see Martha and Alexis being let in on it right away b/c of the close proximity, but I think they'll even keep their 'family' in the dark for a while.

    According to the latest spoiler, you are correct, I am less thrilled than you by this news because that gag gets tiresome for me pretty quickly. I was hoping they would only keep it from Sir so that they could continue to work together. I heard Alexis finds out about it right away because when she comes home they are together. My guess is that Martha will know very quickly afterwards.

    I wonder how far ahead of each episode do the actors get their scripts and know for sure what is going to happen next. Stana sounds like she knows they are going to try and keep their relationship secret for a while...but for how long and who might discover their secret is probably not known to them yet.

    4x23: Always. 5x01: After the storm. 5x02: Your secret is safe with me. 'Always, after the storm, your secret is safe with me'. MAKES SENSE.
