MICHELLE BREWS OVER THE COFFEE KINGIN AN ALL-NEW EPISODE OF "BUNHEADS,"AIRING MONDAY, AUGUST 13TH AT 9:00 PM ET/PT ON ABC FAMILY

Burbank, CA (July 19, 2012) - A tousle with the local barista inspires Michelle to take on city hall in "No One Takes Khaleesi's Dragons," an all-new episode of ABC Family's original series "Bunheads," airing Monday, August 13th (9:00 - 10:00 PM ET/PT).

Michelle is thrilled to discover that there is another option for coffee beyond the gas station: an award-winning barista, Bash (guest star Sean Gunn, "Gilmore Girls"). But she soon discovers that dealing with a coffee artiste has its challenges. And Melanie tries to figure out why Ginny has suddenly begun acting different.

Meanwhile, Fanny and Sasha remain in a standoff, leaving the ballet class to suffer as Fanny casts for the lead role in The Nutcracker.

"Bunheads" is executive produced by Amy Sherman-Palladino. The series stars Sutton Foster, Kaitlyn Jenkins, Julia Goldani Telles, Bailey Buntain and Emma Dumont with guest star Kelly Bishop.

  1. So, Seinfeld had the Soup Nazi and Bunheads gets a Coffee Kaiser? Also, bonus points to Bunheads for continuing their string of Game of Thrones references. Clearly, someone on the writing staff is a fan.

  2. LOL don't watch the show but the title of this episode definitely caught my attention, how fun.

  3. Shouldn't the word be "tussle" and not "tousle?" I don't think a tousle, as in tousling someone's hair would inspire Michelle to take on City Hall.

  4. Apparently it's Daniel, ASP's husband. Someone pointed out the first reference on TVLine and it was an episode that Daniel wrote himself. Speaking of which: what was the reference the first time around? I assume this second time the reference is the dragons? I don't watch the show (don't get the network and doesn't really seem like my thing) so can you please explain them to me? I'm a bit lost about it.

  5. KIRK!!!!!!! This'll be fun :)

And I must've missed some press releases because I don't remember reading something about Fanny and Sasha being in a standoff. Although ABC Family press releases are often vague...

  6. There's not much to get with the GoT references. The first time the show was referenced it was just a mention. There wasn't a joke. The title here basically means that someone is taking a stand or drawing a line in the sand, so to speak.

  7. Oh OK. Huh. Must've missed them mentioning it.

  8. There were like 5 references in the second to last episode to air.

  9. I think Sasha starts acting moody because of her parental situation and takes it out on Fanny who then doesn't give her the lead in the production or something.

  10. Oh man Sean Gunn's character was so annoying on Gilmore Girls, I hope it's not a repeat of Kirk =P
