Thanks to TV.COM for the following
We're not gonna lie, this summer's new-show offerings are generally lacking. But that doesn't mean there's nothing to look forward to! We've combed the schedule and compiled a list of the ten tastiest-looking new series. Which ones are you most excited about?

Do you agree with their list? Let us know in the comments the shows you are most looking forward to?

I think Politicial Animals could be good, some great actors in it and it seems to be a little outside of the USA comfort zone which could be a good thing.
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to the Newsroom. The other shows don't hold any real interest to me, my Summer watching will be mostly returning shows and DVDs.
"One day, television will write a procedural about a well-adjusted person of average intelligence who solves cases by following the rules. This is not one of those days."
ReplyDeleteBwah! This my favorite quote from any summer preview. It perfectly sums up my typical boredom with quirky (read crazy or annoying or full of themselves....) crime solver procedurals. Even Castle was a bummer this year, I already dropped Bones, and I'm a year and a half behind on NCIS. Thank goodness for White Collar.
Revolution. I am eager for one more action packed emotional journey. But I am sad, that RLN is being promoted as Abrams show with no name of Kripke on it.
ReplyDeleteYep, I'm also looking forward to Revolution as well.
ReplyDeleteAlso intrigued by 666 Park Ave.
Most I have little to no interest in... sadly.
ReplyDeleteI might check out Politic Animals for Ciaran Hinds and Sigourney Weaver, but it doesn't appeal to me from what I have seen so far honestly.
Longmire looks like it could be quite good and is worth a definite look!
Inside Men was great! One of the better UK mini-series I have seen in a few years... and I catch a lot of UK mini-series! XD
Newsroom is another one that does not wow me in concept or initial appeal, but the cast is awesome and the creative team is too! Worht a look at least.
Saving Hope for sure, maybe Political Animals, Perception and Inside Men.
ReplyDeleteI will be watching The Newsroom. I don´t really have any interest in the rest of the shows. It´s gonna be a loooong summer....... Actually my two favorite shows, Justified and Game of Thrones will not be back till next year.... :-(
ReplyDelete(well, that´s after next weeks finale ofcourse)
From this list of 7? Longmire might be good, also I predict I'll find Comedy Bang Bang funny for a while until I tire of it, and the 4-episode Inside Men. Otherwise I'll use my summer viewing time to catch up on Breaking Bad, Treme, and Person of Interest.
ReplyDeleteThe Dallas Reboot, though I remain skeptical.
ReplyDeleteThose are fall shows... I WAS looking forward to Revolution, but the trailer has ruined my excitement. Looks terrible. 666 Park Avenue..that one REALLY has potential. The second half of the trailer looked kind of silly, but the first half had me hooked in, and with Terry O'Quinn...no doubt I'll enjoy it!!!! Infamous also looks promising. This coming season is lacking in terms of a genre show I can really get excited about. At least I'll still have Fringe for another year!
ReplyDeleteHave to agree those two shows are probably the most intriguing and maybe most anticipated (more on Revolution) this fall
