I agree with you. Her character has always had spunk (sorry to use such an old word but it seems to fit.) She could so easily have been the school bitch, but she's not. She's layered and interesting. Where as Jackson is a one-note character...No, I take that back. He's not. I feel like we've been given glimpses that there's something else behind the a**hole behavior but we've only gotten to see the as**ole.
There's more to Lydia and happily Stiles is most frequently the one to let us see it. Unfortunately, given this is high school, I keep thinking she won't fully realize Stile's awesomeness til she's about a sophomore in college.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I so love this show!!!
ReplyDeleteLove Stiles, he cracks me up.
ReplyDelete"Cause when I looked in the eyes of the thing I saw pure evil. And when I looked in Lydia's eyes I only saw 50% evil." Lol
"Maybe 60.."
ReplyDeleteReally...if I were Lydia...I'd be sitting in a comfy padded room.
ReplyDeleteHer holding it together with all the horrible, is actually making me like her soooo much more. And I liked her okay from the beginning.
