After an almost three-month hiatus, word is that one of the Winchester Brothers is back in Vancouver a few weeks early for director’s prep. Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester) will be directing the upcoming season’s first filmed epsiode for the third year in a row. Shooting starts on Monday, July 9th.
He looks great! As always!

ReplyDeleteI worked one summer caring for cats at a pound for free during high school and loved it every moment. I'd have worked constantly if I could make a living doing that.

ReplyDeleteThey will surely talk about it at the Comic Con and Jensen might bring a clip as he will probably already have filmed something by that time, but I'm sure spoilers will come out way before that.
I hope they do a young Winchesters episode this year. I know that Brock Kelly didn't quite fit the general consensus as a Young Dean, but I would still love to see the boys on an early hunt/adventure together. :)
Like I always said, I want them to celebrate a Winchester birthday and Sam should gift Samulet to Dean on that day. I hope those wonderful moments will be in season 8.

As I have already said, I find The Best Series Poll is really boring and there's hardly anything to discuss there as I didn't watch 95% of the series included in that competetion and we are being bored to death during this long hellatus. Please restart The Ultimate Episode Poll after you get permission from moderators of this website or start a thread on wishlist for season 8. Even though you restart the poll or start new threads, I don't think its gonna affect the Best Series Competition much.

It would be sucha moving moment seeing him give it to Dean, and Dean receiving it with joy.

I think he's looking to do more directig and less acting in the future so it will help his resume, but yeah that would suck to have a shorter break.

However, when I get back I have some articles for Supernatural that will hopefully spark a lot of good discussion, one of them being a season 8 wish list. However, tomorrow is Supernatural day on the Best Show contest and I won't have wi fi access then. You guys are going to have to campaign a lotto get it to the next round. People are gunning to get it knocked off early and I'm going to be ticked if I don't get a chance to vote for SPN for Best Show this year. Counting on you guys to get it to round 2.

I think you're right to be sceptic about Sam getting Dean out of Hell , although it would be right and just as Sam didn't get to save his brother at the end of season three, so this should really be his moment, but of course that won't happen!
For me they can do as they wish, as long as the brothers are the focus of the show and the episodes are exciting and with the right touch of emotion that the earlier seasons had.
I assure at least 10 votes from me. As I said earlier, I live in a dorm and I will vote from each of my friend's computers. But anyways, if it doesn't go as expected, lets all remember that Supernatural has won People Choice Award - Best Drama this year.

ReplyDeleteI don't want to sound pessimist but I'm not sure at all about having a clip. With starting shooting one week later and having CC one week sooner, they won't finish shooting their first episode 'til after CC....

I was unclear. I think they have to have Sam rescue Dean if they listened to fan comments at all for the last 3 seasons. I'm just saying that although I think the third episode will be Sam-centric,hopefully focusing on how he rescued Dean since the brothers won't be apart for long, it will probably end up being something completely different. As long as Dabb & Loflin don't write it, I'm good.

ReplyDeleteI agree that B Kelly was just not right for young Dean but chopping and changing sort of confuses things, I feel.
The fact that C Ford has always played the role of young Sam has made the whole Weechester plot very believable.
I think they should just stick with Kelly and maybe try and get him to change his acting style a bit to make him more Dean -like.

I watch seasons 4&5 more often because I love the Angel/Demon stories, Chris' Alastair is so scary and love Castiel, Lucifer and Crowley. Anna was a winner for me, hated where they took her and loved Dean's slice of Angel Food cake. ;) But saying all that I just love this series, even the eps not my favorites are better than most of what is on TV.
