This is my review of the third episode of Suits Season Two entitled “Meet The New Boss”. The first two episodes
of the season were spent introducing Daniel Hardman, one of the founding
partners of Pearson Hardman. With his office set up last episode, he now returns to the firm to continue the war with Jessica and Harvey.
This week’s case
is about nurses who want to go on strike, a case which sees Hardman and Harvey
go head-to-head as the battle for control. As each of them tries to one-up the
other, only one will be celebrating a victory in the end. Mike gets caught up in the crossfire, however he also has a number of scenes with his Grandma which shows the real heart of the show. Meanwhile, Jessica informs a proud Louis Litt that they have been ranked
second from last in a poll of associate satisfaction and Harvard are
threatening to revoke their hiring privileges. In hilarious style, Louis sets
out to prove that he is in fact a nice person, but that plan changes when he meets a kindred spirit who comes to investigate the problem.
Finally, Rachel tries to move on from Mike by trying dating, but when a
highly amusing Happy Hour with Donna fails to find her a new man, she decides
to try something new. Oh, and do you remember the can opener that Donna and Harvey teased us
with in the Season One finale? Prepare for a reappearance.
Don’t miss the newest
episode of Suits, airing this Thursday at 10/9C on USA.

I really enjoy your reviews, thanks for posting them;)
ReplyDeleteI def. waiting for the can opener reappearance..
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see this! This is one of my highlights!
ReplyDeleteI care about the battle for Pearson and Hardman. I want to see Harvey go up against Hardman. I will love seeing Grandma again. I adore Louis and am looking forward to his story. I couldn't care less about the office romance. It just doesn't catch me.
ReplyDeleteAre they not yet finished with Mike+Rachel? I don't mind their relationship but really tired of them on/off/on/off, come on, make your choice and stick to it.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! :) Thanks for reading!
ReplyDeleteHehe, don't take 'reappearance' too literally. ;)
ReplyDeleteHello Joshua! I was just wondering if you were going to do early reviews for most of the episodes of the 2nd season and was it just for the first three episodes?
ReplyDeletemoremyselfthanI It depends if USA Network make available early the episodes to review. They don't always have advance screenings I'm afraid.
