A really cool poster, like Terra Nova in the city :P This year's "Flash Forward", "The Event", "Terra Nova" is "Revolution", hope this time it doesn't fail ...
Honestly, due to the cast and the people behind the show, I'm a lot less worried about it being terrible quality-wise. However, I have no idea how well it will do in the ratings, but I will say quite a few people around me seem to be a little excited about it. :)
It IS behind "The Voice" so if it's going to debut on NBC at least it's in the best slot available. (Even if we all know what happened to Smash this season in the ratings lol)
I like it. A lot. This show holds my greatest hopes for new TV next year. I hope it doesn't disappoint. I hope even more that it doesn't get cancelled for low ratings if I like it.
I actually like the concept art because it is reminiscent of LOST seasons 5 and/or 6 promo art, as I like themes about (modern) 'man in the wilderness'. I am not saying it's the most interesting or amazing promo art ever, just that I appreciate trying to simplify the concepts in a single image....this image where nature as taken back over...
I also like the concept, what I dislike is the execution and the heavy handed photoshop. It looks like nature has taken over and people were turned to plastic.
I have great hopes for this show as well but it is on NBC and JJ Abrams is attached to it, so it could be an amazing break out hit (fingers crossed for this option) or it could be another awake, brilliant concept but nobody watches it
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Oh! I like this one better than the others!
ReplyDeleteWill check this show out.

ReplyDeleteI think the biggest thing in it's favor is that it is on NBC which has much lower expectations. I'm grateful for that.
ReplyDeleteI really hope the show is much better than it's posters. I am rooting for this one!

ReplyDeleteI'm kinda bored of these posters. They are cool, yes, but I wold really like to see something more, dunno, ambitious, stylish, risky.
ReplyDeleteStill, gonna watch the hell of this show!
Yes, it could end up working out for Revolution like Supernatural on the CW or something like that.

ReplyDeleteThat's true! (:
