It wasn't as big as last week's shocker, but I still enjoyed the finale. I'm glad they didn't pass right over Lane's suicide - it was still felt around the office, even if it wasn't necessarily the focus. And it brought up more pain for Don as he saw his dead brother who ALSO hanged himself after a meeting with Don. The Pete/Beth stuff is still weird, and I'm hoping that's over and done with. I AM proud of Peggy, though. Her first business trip! Her excitement made me smile.
Overall, I think this was a decent season of the show. It was weird at times, crazy and shocking in others, though I don't know that it was the show's best. I think that may have been partially due to Megan. I think I used to like her, but that ship has sailed. And did the end of the episode signal the return of the old Don Draper?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeletegreat finale, already can't wait for next season, so when it will be start??
