  1. I'm glad they were able to fix Holly!

And whoa at the Grace and Henry revelation. I saw the Henry one coming a few minutes before she said something, but still.

    And poor Jack and Allison.

Why are there only three episodes left?

  2. Start with the happy!
    1) Yeah for Holly! and so happy for Fargo.
    The not so happy
    2) Henry would never do that. Never.
    3) I can't take mean, "never think of Carter" Allison. Really you need a phd to fix a well? Eureka may be a special case but phds that I know are hardly ever "handy." Roll with the punches, lady, and try just for a minute to think of someone else's happiness. Oh well. Sorry, I just wish they'd fix it instead of focusing on it.

  3. Regarding point 2: Our Henry may never do something like that. But as you may recall, Our Fargo was nowhere near being "Director material" before the timeline change, yet the Fargo of this timeline, was apparently Director, since "Our Fargo" inherited the job.

Who's to say, there couldn't have been personality changes for other people in this timeline, before "our" guys replaced them?

    Overall, 10/10 episode.

  4. Yay - Holly's back. But Grace and Henry - I didn't expect that.

  5. Syfy only initially ordered a 13-episode 5th season, which included a holiday special, but announced that they weren't going to order more episodes and were actually going to cancel the series while Eureka was in the midst of filming the 5th season. The show producers said while some storylines may be moved around and shortened, they were able to get an appropriate ending for fans. 6. There was quite a bit going on in this ep. A good thing IMHO.

I'm happy that Holly is back but I couldn't help feel like this whole 'computer generated Holly gets a body" was a bit of a cheat. It felt a little, for me, like the producers chickened out of the pain of killing off a character by doing an about face and bringing her back. I couldn't help feeling like I wished they'd stuck to their guns.

I knew Grace was going to break the news that pre-change Henry had been part of the plan. I knew the traitor was going to be Grace when she walked into the lab as Henry was just beginning to get to work recovering data. I was wailing "why does Henry's heart have to be broken again." when it occurred to me; the old Henry in this time line was a spy too. The logic fits (I have just been re-watching season one. They pushed Henry to the breaking point with Kim's death. Beverly was treating him and it would make perfect sense for there to be a timeline where Henry said yes. But if the previous Sheriff was investigating people before Jack arrived...was Henry on board then? It's impossible to know since we don't know how (or if) the timeline differed once they traveled back in time. But I was happy that Grace's lack of talking was protecting Henry. I would have been really upset if the implication had been that she didn't love Henry.

Liked that Jo used Andy's emotional reaction to the massively cool secret to flush culprits out of the woodwork.

The honeymoon was truly, for me, the weakest part of the episode. I get what they were trying to do, but...I had a difficult time believing that Jack would be so obtuse as not to get what Allison wanted for her honeymoon. I think I might have been happier if Jack had introduced the cabin stint as 'a prelude to Fiji" rather than instead of...um...in other words present the cabin as a gift..but not as the honeymoon. I don't know any guys too dumb to realize their SO hates or loves camping by the time they get married and having Jack not realize this made him dumb and that guy is NOT dumb.

I gotta give this ep a "Great"

  7. 10 eps went buy way to quickly didn't they? I was shocked when they said only 3 left. I thought we still had at least 5.

I really think they pulled the plug a little too quickly here.

  8. I totally agree with you about the honeymoon - and I'm speaking as a MASSIVE Jack/Allison fan! I get that they couldn't just have two of the main leads disappear for an entire episode, but I also thought that there was NO WAY Jack would not have picked some place he knew Allison would've loved. I initially thought that the cabin was a prelude for a surprise trip to a resort location, and was waiting for Jack to whip out a pair of plane tickets at some point. Ugh, writers could've seriously done better regarding this bit.
