Nikita - Season 2 - DVD & Blu-Ray Announced (Different Street Date Than Before)

The 2nd season of "Nikita" has been officially announced for DVD and Blu-Ray release on October 2, 2012. This is very different from the release date I had earlier, which was August 14, but this new info comes from the confirmed studio announcement. Alongside this new date was the price, which is $59.98 for the DVD and $69.97 for the Blu-Ray. The Blu-Ray also contains UltraViolet digital downloads of the episodes (restricted to U.S. customers and must be redeemed within 2 years of release date). The following bonus materials are found on both formats:

- Gag Reel
- Deleted Scenes
- Audio Commentaries
- "What If? Writing the Fate of Division" - Featurette
- "Living the Life: Maggie Q." - Featurette

    Dunno if this has been confirmed yet, but we in the UK usually get the DVD sets before the US do. I believe we got S1 first as well. Season 2 seriously hit the ground running and didn't stop running until that epic finale! ''Shadow Walker'' being one of my favorite episodes, and one of the best team episodes I have ever seen including team based episodes of Stargate!
