After Lost’s Man in Black appeared on Grimm, it was only a matter of time before brother Jacob showed up.
TVLine has learned exclusively that Mark Pellegrino, who played the mythological ABC series’ ageless island protector, will guest-star in the upcoming second season of NBC’s darker-side-of-fairy-tales drama.
Grimm’s Season 2 will debut on Monday, August 13 at 10 pm/9c.
Pellegrino will play Jarold Kempfer, one of Hank’s (Russell Hornsby) high school buddies whose daughter goes missing. Hank doesn’t know, though, that his old pal is also a coyotl, or coyote-like creature.

Interesting!
ReplyDeleteIt seems to have a draw for LOST guest stars and that is never a bad thing.
I wonder if the role is recurring or a one episode shot... Hmmmm.....
Mark Pellegrino as a coyote beast? Gotta see it.
ReplyDeleteof course he is he is on every supernatural show
ReplyDeleteMan, Mark Pellegrino really makes his rounds on shows about the supernatural haha... he'll always be Lucifer to me, but I'm looking forward to him on Grimm!
ReplyDeleteI really want him to get a leading role in a show, preferably a HBO/AMC one
ReplyDelete...MARK,,A,,,COYOTE..the make up or computer graphic has to be awesome because the coyote and the wolf are similar for his variety colors and shape
ReplyDeleteafter Sebastian Roche the second Supernatural star. So looking forward to his appearance. Maybe next one is Richard Speight Jr or Mark Sheppard LOL
ReplyDeleteMark break records, Lost, Supernatural and now on Grimm.
ReplyDeleteCan Mark Sheppard guest appear next? LOL, I love my regulars popping up all over the place (looking at you Titus Welliver, Sebastian Roche and now Mark Pellegrino).
ReplyDeleteWhy the hell am i not surprised?!
ReplyDeleteCool! Will be watching!
ReplyDeleteDamn, I shivered at these news. Hot damn Grimm, you certainly have the greatest guest starts! I really love of this show keeps bringing genre actors.
ReplyDeleteI doubt Mark Sheppard would do that to Supernatural, atleast while he is still a recurring character.
ReplyDeleteGrimm is like the Hyundai of genre shows. Weirdly copying what's come before. But I almost always like Pellegrino, so I am super looking forward to him on Grimm. They need the depth.
ReplyDeletePersonally I thought Chuck had the best guest stars. If Grimm lasts as long as Chuck I'll be happy
ReplyDeleteLove Mark, so will look forwad to seeing him on Grimm.
ReplyDeleteYou know you've got it made as a "cult genre" show when Mark Pelegrino guests.... ;D
ReplyDeleteIf they manage to get Mark Sheppard too they'll be golden!
;) You're forgetting some SPN actors who were/will be in both SPN and Grimm, like Amy Gumenick
ReplyDeleteGood for Mark P. but I guess this means he's typed cast.
ReplyDeleteyou know Titus did SPN too, as War, one of the horsemen of the Apocalypse
ReplyDeleteLet's hope one shot, I like him but not that much, LOL!
ReplyDeleteYep and so will I! I think they've been quite clever the way the story lines developed! The characters are slowly drawing you in and the child curiosity in you wants to see the next type of creature! Add this to a couple of likeable and familiar Guest stars and Wham! Your Hooked!
ReplyDeleteI agree! At first i Grimm didn't do to much for me,but i realized after the 7th or 8th episode i was really getting into it..It just sucked that its on the same time Fringe is,so i missed enough episodes to know i need to watch it again..but yeah i'm hooked, not like Fringe, but hooked none-the-less!
ReplyDeletelike the Wham! lol.... ;)
