  1. Fantastic two scenes at the top. Although there are so many good ones it would be hard to rank them.

  2. I feel like a baby crying my eyes out over Peter and Etta! Had me so choked up i couldn't even think, let alone talk! But its that Walter steals the show for me!

Is that lemon jello? Who will ever think again look at lemon jello and not think about Walter? And the twizzlers! Did you see the glint in Walters eyes, the playfulness in those eyes when he took the twizzler? No you say? Go back and look again, hurry!

But then when i think it couldn't get any better,Walter thanks Astrid and calls her by her right name, again the glint, that smile, not only melted Astrid's heart but mine as well! I realize i have fallen hard, hard for Walter,i love that man!

I don't know if the number 1 spot should be,but its is the perfect ending for the series finale, but not for a seasons finale, but really who knew? at least they wanted to give us a happy ending!

My thanks goes to DarkUFO, Dor and anyone else who helped put this together for us i thank you! I had a great time and the anticipation was well worth it!

My only question is: So when are we going to do this again??

  3. OMG! A LOT Scene made it in here! YAY! -But I don't know how I feel about the end of BNW being number 1!?!?

    Thanks for the polls!

  4. Same as yesterday's "Olivia tell peter that she remembers everything" - I wasn't touched so much by "Peter and Etta reunion" - I don't know why! but it feels to me that it didn't deserve the 2nd place. But for the 1st place - really deserved in my opinion closed a lot in the season, specially the part where September told Peter that he must put things right by having a child with the 'right' Olivia (the scene that got to the 6th place). Loved this poll so much!! Glad I could give a hand with it and the most important I'm glad you all had fun!

  5. Agree with every word! Lol, I love Walter so much, the lemon-jello scene was brilliant.
I'm so happy you enjoyed! I really didn't believe it would get so much applause and compliments, and I really hope we'll get to enjoy another one like this in the near future. I would LOVE to give a hand with this once more.

  6. I really did enjoy it,and if we could have one after S5 it would be great! Thanks again my friend, you did good! :)

  7. Seems you,Dor and i are of the same minds in terms of 1st and 2nd place, and possibly one or two others,oh well it was still fun!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Yep,i agree! And we did have fun!!! :D

    ReplyDelete
  9. We all love when Peter hugs somebody (in the 4th, 2nd, and 1st place scenes, LOL).

I like how the big thing about that scene is Liv telling Peter that she is pregnant and you didn't even mention that. I do agree with you though I enjoy that scene with walter and astrid and walter with the "jello."

    Absolutely!

  12. Your right i didn't,not because i didn't like it,but because i forgot! I was so excited to see what the last two scenes were that even before i had my coffee this morning first thing i did was to come here and see what they were! :)

  13. Did you see the cover to Septembers Notebook? here:
    http://fringefriday.net/

They also have some tweets posted from J.Wyman,a few juicy titbits in there, thought you might want to check it out..Or anyone else for that matter!

  14. Oh Noooooooooooooooo my nightmare number 1. hehe

    ReplyDelete
  15. Thanks Dor and Dark for running this Poll. Hopefully there will be more to keep us busy till September

    ReplyDelete
  16. I had a similar thought, but then I just let it go!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Hey Laura, How did your re-watch go :)

    ReplyDelete
  18. Ya! I have it on pre-order and the cover art finally popped up on Amazon a few days ago! --I def think it will be a nice little companion, I am curious if it will effect one's viewing, errr should I say "observing" experiences, or if it's a little more like an encyclopedia?!

    ReplyDelete
  19. im a little surprised at number 1 but i love number 2!!

    ReplyDelete
  20. It has been extremely hot here for the last 2 days, and i guess it finally got to me,i think i got halfway through then just past out from the heat, thank goodness i slept through it,it sure was brutal here with the humidity..I'll watch the rest a little later!

I am disappointed. Olivia and Walters diner scene didn't make it in. In my opinion it is one of the most powerful scenes of all the seasons of Fringe.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Oh thats what I hate about summer, We dont get it so bad here in ireland thank God. nothing but rain here at moment.. have some cool Jello to cool you down but not walters lemon variety hehe

    ReplyDelete
  23. Ha! Never been to Ireland,i should say never been out of the country, but what i have seen of your fine country is beautiful!!

I haven't had Jello in years, but i think in keeping with the theme when Fringe starts S5 i will. That and Red Twizzlers and strawberry milkshaks,of course not all at the same time,lol...

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yes Shes Gone. I thought shed been banned previously, but she'll probably be back to annoy us with a different screen name in a few months.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I've never been to the States or Canada. Hopefully will be visiting late this year or early next year..
I havent had Jello ( we call it jelly here) in years either, don't think I've ever seen or tasted a red twizzler, Chocalate milkshakes now not strawberry ugh!!! would be more to my taste.
So Jelly, red twizzlers if i can find them and chocolate milk shake on sept 28th it is then.:)

    ReplyDelete
  26. I hope not but this time i'll be ready!

    ReplyDelete
  27. And maybe some cortexiphan lol

    ReplyDelete
  28. Apparently I was the only 1 that thought the #1 moment wasnt that big.
Sort of stunned Questioning dead Jessica was 22nd. I thought it actually had a small chance at the top 10.

    ReplyDelete
  29. No you weren't the only one, almost everyone here is a bit stunned by it.I don't believe there is one person who left a comment believes it should have been #1...

    ReplyDelete
  30. Hmmm I am a little disappointed by the number onee scene, yes it was a lovely emotional moment but it wasn't really groundbreaking (we all knew she was pregnant) or as well acted as some of the other choices. Guess Polivia wins out in the end.

    ReplyDelete
  31. ha! that should be a comic con booth..' Hug Peter Bishop'.. the line would be forever long

    ReplyDelete
  32. a big thank you to DarkUFO, Dor and anyone else who helped put this together!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Totallyaddicted00522 June 2012 at 19:40

Love it. Thats how it shoulda ended, we didn't need the extra scene with the observer. I LOVE Number 1 scene and 2!

They said that there is a reason and it was purposeful why Olivia Paused, hesitated before telling peter that she was pregnant.. My theories, 1) Liv saw that she and peter weren't gonna be around to raise Etta 2) Liv saw that she dies in childbirth. Any other theories?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Not a huge fan of the number 2 selection. It wasn't a surprise moment for me in the ep and I hadn't yet made any connection to the character of Etta (isn't that what she was called during the ep.)

While I didn't vote for the winner I did love the scene and really enjoyed seeing it again. Thanks for including the full sequence and not just the scene where she tells Peter she's pregnant. I got a Walter goody for free. And I just realized for the first time the complete lack of blinking or surprise on Peter's part when he declined the urine.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Superb Choices for 1 & 2 So emotional!!

    ReplyDelete
  36. I gotta say I did not expect that scene to get the first place. But it was good scene, when I saw that last part of the episode, I thought maybe due to the bullet and some parts of her brain regenerating, she might not remember some stuff, but as it turned out she did remember everything.

    ReplyDelete
  37. who are you guys talking about?

    ReplyDelete
  38. In yesterdays poll LostGorillaz and i were talking about a scene that made it into the poll, and we said it made it into the poll only because the shippers voted for it,but really we didn't say it exactly like that.
I go back and this girl took offense and yelled,i thought she was new for she didn't have a lot of points,so i apologized and i went about my business.I guess she went off on LostGorillaz & the next thing i know, she was banned.LostGorillaz could probably tell you more about it than me,because i think she said something else to him,but went i got back to see if LostGorillaz was alright whatever she said was gone.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I see you made it! Glad you liked it,hey it must be late for you,no?

    ReplyDelete
  40. I know right! I think everyone except 2 think it shouldn't of been. But it was still a great poll and it gave us something to look forward to! :)

    ReplyDelete
  41. Two lovely scenes - they're not the ones I would have placed at the top but great scenes regardless. Love the father/daughter reunion (and looking forward to the mother/daughter one) and the 1st place scene was just lovely especially when Walter and Astrid came along as well.
The only disappointment I have with the top 10 scenes is that the Walter/Eliznate scene isn't there - it's one of my faves from all 4 years.
Thank you to all for organising this - I've loved it.

    ReplyDelete
  42. You're right, that's another good one!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Did you get a chance to read the description of the Septembers Noterbook? I checked it out at amazon also, but wondered if you read the short description?

    ReplyDelete
  44. the #01... the P/O scene... I'm happy for the shippers though I still ain't one. It was predictable that the end scene would be the #01.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Hmmmm... I'd hoped for something a bit more Fringe-esc than two emotional and not very shocking endings of episodes. Really very surprised at both of them, as all of us on the STV Podcast were unhappy with both of these endings.

Great stuff for putting the competition together though Dark :) Was interesting to see exactly what the Fringe fans liked, even if I totally disagree on the winners :P

    ReplyDelete
  46. Yep! (: --That's why I am curious which way it's gonna be. I am hopeful that not only does it give us extra info, but that the info it gives us might really expand the mythology in some way...but it would also be cool if "Inner Child" would somehow also relate to his Observations! (I have always thought that September was the child Observer although the technicality of that would be hard, as a time fold/space sharing might have to occur in order for a child version of September to be able to visit/exist in a 'future' time line...so maybe it would be easier to swallow if it was his future son instead!)

    ReplyDelete
  47. I also thought of September as a child Observer, but i never thought of him as being Septembers child, that is an interesting way of looking at him! But unfortunately we won't be getting insights from the book while the show is still on,the publication date says Jan.29,2013. I guess they really want us to be surprised and to also have to use our brains!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Seriously? You guys watch Fringe for Peter and Peter? :)

    ReplyDelete
  49. Yea Laura it was quite late but I wanted to see the picks and Vote of course! It was amazing for Peter when he realised it was his Daughter would have loved another episode!!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Well i think we might be getting another episode,J.Wyman said S5 will be filled with Fringe in the furture, but you know he has pulled the wool over our eyes a few times ,lol,so i'm taking everything with a grain of salt.
Have you checked out the rest of Spoiler or just the competition and this poll that we finished?

    ReplyDelete
  51. Peter & Walter! :D

    ReplyDelete
  52. I so surprised we didn't have one with Alt-Liv,well okay, when they closed the bridge, but there really were some good scenes with her and Walter....maybe next time, lets hope!

And really where did the people who voted for the 1st and 2nd place come from? They certainly didn't leave a comment about it? I believe it surprised us (who are here everyday) all...

    ReplyDelete
  53. I love them both so much! Definitely earned their places!

    ReplyDelete
  54. All P/O shippers i presume.... Better explanation I can't find! Yeah there were really good Alt-Livvie scenes if I may do say so myself. I guess a lot of people didn't like her... like we did!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Ha! I think you found the perfect scene's formula! (Because 2,734 voters can't be wrong XD )

    ReplyDelete
  56. Oh did it change since yesterday? I swear it said Nov. 30th at Amazon (not that they can't be wrong, they've changed dates before...) I guess I'll go look at it again. LOL!

Ya they did change it! Hahaha...so I guess it might just be all the extra's, tie-ups, and maybe another way to look at the series!

Thanks for telling me! -I would have been November and I would have been, :what the hell!", and then I would reread the date and be all like, "grrrrrrrrr"LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  57. YES! These are two of my favorite scenes from Season 4!

    ReplyDelete
  58. I have something else for you to check out,you might be interested.here's the link: http://morethanoneofeverything.net/2012/05/31/the-bridge-fanzine-submission-guidelines/

  60. Yep,but trying and doing for J.Wyman means something different! I hope he sticks to his vision, and tells his story and not gives us the ending he thinks we want.Besides he already gave us a happy ending in the season finale,to bad that wasn't a series finale.
So i have been meaning to ask you but always forgetting, what is a Yobbit? btw,i always respond to you when you leave a comment,i'm trying to get you to spend a little more time here, even through we have different time zones! :)
