JH Wyman has just confirmed the title of the season five premiere over on his TWITTER account by posting a picture of the front page of the script.
The episode will be called "Transilence Thought Unifier Model-11"

Any thoughts on the episode title? What could it be referring too?
Adam

Yep this is what was on twitter,Thanks for posting this and Jeff leaving.I submitted the scoop to Andy but i guess he wasn't around,or sleeping! Glad somebody got it out there.
ReplyDeleteSo they are taking the LEAP in time! But what does "thought Unifler Model -11" mean? Is it unifler with an l after the f or is it an i??
ReplyDeleteSo...that's a mouthful.
ReplyDeleteUnifier as in a thing that unifies something, in this case thoughts. I smell Observer tech here.
ReplyDeleteHey Terry! I thought it was spelled with an L,here i am thinking since transilence means leap,i took it a leap in time, or leap off a building,as in the two porcupine type animals that leaped off the building, and starting flying...
ReplyDeleteIt's supposed to be "Transilience"
ReplyDeleteTran`sil´i`ence
n.1.A leap across or from one thing to another.
Time Travel...Universal Jumping...Timeline Travel... What else we got here...?
Ok so Transilience means a leap across something. So Transilience thought would be thoughts that leap across something. Universes, or Timelines perhaps? So the title would seem to suggest the there is a piece of equipment known as the "Transilience Thought Unifier". This would be the model 11 of course...
ReplyDeleteSo like I said I smell Observer Tech here, a gadget that allows Thoughts to jump across universes and/or timelines so as to unify them.
So I guess I'm still at a loss as to what the hell is going on here!
It sounds like a portal-thingy
ReplyDelete"Transilence Thought Unifier Model-11"
ReplyDeleteKK... sounds very SF!! *LOL* I guess it has to do with Walter. Googled "Transilence" and it's also a name of Band!
Could be the invasion of the Observers by using that Model-11....
♥
There's some crazy Fringe titles, no doubt. But no will ever top The X-Files. I don't think I can pronounce half the episode titles.
ReplyDeleteSCIENCE!!!!! Is all I can think ha, this is great.
ReplyDeleteGot to be an invention of Walter.
ReplyDeleteWTF! *getting into anagram mode*
ReplyDeleteOk now I know why he say a few day back he release the title! I have no idea what he mean in relation to fringe 5th season, oh well guess I have to way until september
ReplyDeleteAnd here I thought Fringe's episode titles couldn't get any weirder!
ReplyDeleteAll that rises MUST converge! :p
ReplyDeleteHa! I know what you mean!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like it might relate to the Observers...but it might be the devise that Walter showed Etta and Simon....I keep thinking about Alias and the Muller devise that controlled the bees (and eventually, humans)
But maybe this is the devise that changed them, rather than the devise that could change them back....because it's almost like they are suggesting a convergence of "mind" (conscience)...kind of like if there is just one Observer whom the rest follow????????
ya and model "11" sounds like a devise long in the making!
ReplyDeleteI like that final thought.
ReplyDeleteHa! Did you come up with anything interesting?
ReplyDeleteNothing! :(
ReplyDeleteOh well!
ReplyDeleteI am still hoping for temporal cold war...so time jumps (or even time line jumps) sounds good to me! (:
ReplyDeleteJust googled Transilience Thought and hit across this page...may be completely unrelated but from what I read (and understood) of it, sounds like a way of thinking that the Observers put in place so that they could more accurately calculate the outcomes of given situations (perhaps thus enabling them to be at those crossroad moments in time?) or perhaps I'm reading too much into it? :D All I know is I can't wait to find out for certain!

Well that's an easy one to understand! Gotta love Fringe episode titles.
ReplyDeleteSounds like tech that the Observers came up with to control/read the minds of their human subjects.
ReplyDeletevery Brian Eno"ish"
