Whedon and writer Tim Minear will join stars Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk, Adam Baldwin, Sean Maher, Michael Fairman and the rest of the crew of the Serenity for a panel on Friday, July 13 at 12:30 p.m. in Ballroom 20.

In addition to the panel discussion, the hourlong session will also feature never-before-seen footage along with what Science is billing as "numerous buzz-worthy surprises."

?? Are they doing a remake or something? WHy now? I mean I'm glad but isn't it like lots of years out since it ended.

  6. Yes it has been lots of years since it ended. 10 to be exact.
They're simply celebrating the anniversary with a tribute panel.

  9. They did say the rest of the crew of the Serenity too so I'm guessing all the gang will be there, whoever wrote that just seems to be anti-female crew members.

  10. I so wish I could be there for this, but the tube vids will have to suffice...

  11. Surely there isn't any 'never before footage,' left to see? Or if there is then if we haven't seen it this far is it going to be all that exciting? Love Firefly though, and love that all this time after it's cancellation it still has major interest.

  12. "never-before-seen footage along with what Science is billing as "numerous buzz-worthy surprises." *runs around screaming and dancing in a very awkward fashion*

  13. Yeah, I'm just crossing my fingers that a few more of the crew will show up, just haven't been confirmed yet.
