Spoiler TV has received confirmation from Showcase that King is cancelled, there will be no third season.

    Not surprised.  It was a good show for a procedural but I've been expecting this since the move to Fridays.

    I'm not surprised either. They didn't promote it like they do their other shows. I was actually surprised it got a second season at all

    I watched it and enjoyed it, bu it lost a lot in its second season to me. the move to Friday was a harbinger of doom.

    Yeah, that sucks.  It was a good show and I enjoyed it, although not as much as Endgame which Showcase also cancelled.

    I guess Showcase is spending all its money on Continuum, which I find mediocre at best.

    While I appreciate the attempt to do original Canadian drama, I hate that the shows I enjoy get cancelled.

    show would have been better if she kicked the husband to the curb early season 2, she is no saint but he was ridiculous!

    That's dumb! I was looking forward to Season 3... :( I thought it was cool to hear street names and areas that I grew up in ... Great show!!! BOO to the Friday Night Death Slot move!!!!

      I totally agree. I thought it was one of the best shows, but then again, they always cancel the good ones and leave garbage on for the stupid people!

    Explains how it just got picked up by Reelz network. s1e01 just aired 05jul13 in the USA. I found them both seasons for download. At least I am forewarned.
