Ausiello blind item - Fall wedding planned
Jun 26, 2012
Misc Shows
It concerns a primetime soap that, although popular, came thisclose to getting the axe at season’s end — and just when a pair of its well-liked lovebirds were heading for a reunion, too. Now I hear that, when the show returns this fall, it’ll pick up right where it left off and pleasantly surprise fans by immediately marrying off the star-crossed couple in question.

I cannot think of anybody.
ReplyDeleteThe first couple that crossed my mind were Bones and Booth, but Bones wasn't about to get axed... So I haven't got the slightest idea.
ReplyDeleteI am thinking of Dana Delaney and Jamie Bamber from ABC's "Body of Proof."
ReplyDeleteWeren't Will and Emma meant to have their wedding in September in Glee? I'm pretty sure that's when they said.
ReplyDeleteBlair & Chuck from Gossip Girl was the first couple that popped in my mind
ReplyDeleteGarrett and Vicky from Community.
ReplyDeleteplease don't let this be Chuck and Blair from Gossip Girl. I cannot take another wedding...
ReplyDeleteIt can't be Caskett on that on
ReplyDeleteLOL
Chuck and Blair!!
ReplyDeleteAnd they are already a couple!
ReplyDeleteIt can't be them because the show wasn't about to be cancelled and they were already a couple at the end of the season!!
ReplyDeleteI am a little thrown by the primetime soap thing, but my guess would be Peter and Olivia
ReplyDeleteThat was my first thought, too, but besides it's not a soap opera, they're starting out in the future. I'd love a flashback to their wedding, though.
ReplyDeleteGrey's Anatomy - Bailey and Ben. :D
ReplyDeleteThis has Chuck and Blair written all over it. And since Dair is officially (unfortunately) dead, I'm ok with it.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Naomi and that nerd kid on 90210
ReplyDeleteI think it could be Hart of Dixie.
ReplyDeleteHave no idea, the only nighttime soap i watch is Revenge, though is wasn't close to getting axed.
ReplyDeleteHate to say it but this does seem like Chuck & Blair. It's just another reason to take this show out back and shoot it.
ReplyDeletethe first think that cross my mind lol
ReplyDeleteAhahaha
ReplyDeleteMost of people's guesses seem way off because none of those shows were closed to being axed, probably be something like Gossip Girl.
ReplyDeleteGod lord yes! Kill it before it causes the palgue
ReplyDeleteplague ... opps
ReplyDeletePeople are also guessing Sam/Addison. I really hope not. I hate Sam.
ReplyDeleteThat would pretty much be the worst news in the history of ever. Ugh, I hadn't even considered that... now I'm mad haha
ReplyDeleteYeah I think it's Chuck and Blair too.
ReplyDeleteI hope its Chuck and Blair.
ReplyDeleteAdd me to the Chuck/Blair bandwagon... Well there's another reason to not even bother with the show for curiosity's sake come next season.
ReplyDelete90210
ReplyDeleteI'm a "bitter end" type of guy so I'll be hate-watching the show 'til the end. I'm still holding out hope that the series ends with Ivy killing everyone except Dorota.
ReplyDeleteI like it....
ReplyDeleteChuck & Blair is the first thing that came to mind, it better not be Addison & Sam
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing Chuck & Blair it only makes the most sense sing this is the last season for GG.
ReplyDeleteThat's a brilliant idea, although unlikely!
ReplyDelete$20 says it's Chuck & Blair, GG wants to pull their old viewers back in for their pathetic little 10 episode run, if the show goes out with a bang and decent ratings, the writers can at least find more work on another show. If not, some of them might toil in obscurity for awhile. Hollywood is a fickle bitch and it's all about what you did last and how well you did it.
ReplyDeleteMe too. Girl deserves to be treated better. If she married him it would be like marrying another Derek
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's total fanfic-esque nonsense but it's my idea of a happy ending. :)
ReplyDeleteFirst couple that crossed my mind was Booth/Brennan
