    Lol, and we know that right after Matt and Elena finish their conversation, Stefan walks in and Elena hugs him (thanks, kryptonsite!). I'm pretty sure she chooses herself or Stefan..

    Good question Matt!!! Thats what we all want to know,,, "WHICH ONE OF THE SALVATORES??" Well i know elena and Damon have great chemistry but i still think what is going on btn them is LUST while Stefan/Elena is LOVE. C'mon Elena doesnt want to feel guilty for dumping one of them but its always been stefan! She said that before. She sees herself with stefan because he doesnt react spontaneously killing someone (like damon) when sumthng goes wrong. Plus damon feels like he has to be the good guy around elena yet thats not his character. I know they would both do anything for her becoz they both love her but honestly if she was inlove with damon, she would already know that! She just loves him...but is inlove with Stefan. Its like that first love u hardly can get over ;) Either way, the brother bond should be broken!! I wonder what happens when the car goes over the bridge... and if Elijah will turn his back against elena(after she trusts him) again like last season finale which i think will be the case!!

    Suddenly I have a bad feeling about klaus fate. I worry that Elijah is their maker and if that turns out to be true then my favourite orginal will be dead for good and never come back :(:(:(:( I'd prefer Klaus sleeping for a while and come back in the middle of season 4 with great vendetta, rather than aweking in the next episode.

    i hate Stefan´s martyrish face, and Elena is so predictable.. Always Stefan just Stefan,  no passion between them only staring in eyes and crying how much they love each other, pathetic!!!

    Elijah for Mystic Falls mayor (Seriously, Elijah Needs to be developped, Daniel Gillies is pure awesomeness, I've been very disappointed by Klaus development, Klaus really pisses me off with his threats, his pseudo feelings for Caroline, controling people...) !!!! (and Daniel Gillies for regular on season 4). As for triangle choice, this is obvious that Elena will choose Stefan over Damon : Jeremy knows she roots for him but she just can't admit it to herself, Stefan couldn't because of the side effects of what he did because of Klaus (I hope he'll sleep for a long time, Mystic Falls needs a rest I think). I think that deep in herself, Elena still loves Stefan, same for him : no need to argue.

    She loves
    Damon. She loves Stefan too. And as you got it wright, she is not Katherine and
    she can't/won't be with both of them (why not? Could be fun). She'll have to
    choose. You're also got it wright, that she is holding on to Stefan. I think,
    she'll choose Stefan. Too bad. Damon is much funnier and not so boring. Although
    I must say, reaper Stefan has something. If he could just stop leaving body
    parts lying around.

    point. What bounds Stefan and Elena is love in a pure unselfish way. The bound
    between Damon and Elena is also love, but the lust between them is also quiet strong.
    And we all know, relationships based on chemistry and lust never last long. But
    I still believe, that Elenas life with Damon would be more exciting.


    You're
    wrong about Damons behave. Yes, he used to be like you said. He had a bad day,
    was p.o., so he killed someone. And yes, the reason that he started to behave
    was Elena. At the beginning. Now he changed. He cares for others and he feels
    something. He didn't care about family before (except killing them and torturing
    Stefan), now he is ready to risk everything for his brother. And he got close
    with the others.


    At the beginning
    she saw Damon for what he was. Arrogant, just carrying about himself. That is,
    why she was never tempted by Damon before. But now … She saw that he changed. She
    saw, that there is something good in him. That he can be good. She was just encouraging
    this side of him and it worked.


    I too think,
    she will choose Stefan. He feels safer. Wright. Till he doesn't lose control
    over his bloodlust again. But on the other side: by now she really saw the
    worst of him.


    That is,
    why Elena can't/won't choose. She is not just afraid, that she may lose one of
    the brothers, she is also afraid, that it would destroy the bond between the
    brothers. After they just started getting along again.


    Car over
    the bridge. Does that remind you of anything? Like the books? She drowned and
    woke up as vampire. Well, I have my doubts. But it would be a good end of the season.


    I don't understand
    why Elijah should turn against Elena. He wanted to get rid (or free) from Klaus,
    the brothers did that. He should be thanking them. On the other side: They have
    an common enemy. Alaric. Who can die only, if Elena dies. Well, he could try to
    kill her. After all: Alarics mission is to kill all vampires. And I'm still
    p.o. at Elijah. For Jenna. I like him. But I'll never forgive or forget.

    complicated. To Elena Stefan feels safe. He is come. And so boring.


    Damon is
    much funnier and not so boring. Elenas life with Damon would be more exciting.
    But we all know, relationships based on chemistry and lust never last long.

    A vampire
    for mayor? In a town fool of vampire hunters? Well, it's not the most ridiculous
    thing I've heard. We'll see how the council meeting ends. Carol and Liz will
    have a hard time. Thanks Ric.


    Call me
    stupid, call me crazy. But I think that Klaus actually did feel something for
    Caroline. As far as he is capable of feeling anything at all. Just think: he
    never forced her into anything and he never tried to compel her. And he always
    did that. Compelling and threatening. He maybe didn't love her. But he cared
    for her. As far as he is capable to care for anything or anyone but himself.


    Just because
    MF needs a rest doesn't mean, it will get some. Don't forget, we still have
    Alaric on the loose. But I think, it would be good for Elena to be in a coma
    for 2-3-4 days. She definitely needs some rest. Think of, what she's bee thru
    in the lase ep. She was almost strangled by Alaric, Klaus nearly bleed her dry,
    than she cracked her had …


    Elena loves
    Stefan. No one is denying that. But she loves Damon too. And Damon did change. He
    is not Stefan form S1 and he never will be. When Damon behaved like an ass it
    was easy for her to hate him (or trying to hate him. She never actually hated
    him. And the chemistry between them was always strong.). But Damon has changed.
    Elena sees that. That is why she can't deny her feelings for him anymore.


    Damon and
    Bonnie? Never. I like them in the books. They like each other. It's even more. But
    in the show … Bonnie hates him! She blames him for her grandmas death, he
    turned her mother, almost killed her in S1, se also blames him for Caroline …
    They make a great team, yes. But I'm not sure, I she can ever forgive and trust
    him.

     Maybe Elijah will be the one to try and save Elena this time when they go over the bridge and maybe in order to save her he turns her. That would stay in line with the books having her wake up as a vampire (I haven't read them) And if Elena dies as a human wouldn't that also kill alaric? They did drive it home that it was their human sides that were bound together. Elena going vampy could tie up a few loose ends.

    It would also create another dilemma (which we have to have right?) In the car during they boys bro talk Damon says something about in 60 years it'll all be over and they'll be brotherly again. Well yeah that would be a human lifespan but if Elena becomes a vamp then it'll be way longer then 60 years. What will that do to the bromance?

    Everything seems to be leading us to believe Elena will pick Stefan (him being the one to come back from his and Damon's road trip), the cuddling etc.. which is why I think (read: hope) she will pick Damon! 

    Or she will end up picking neither! That way she loses neither!

     I actually DO want Damon to leave.  Here's why:

     - I don't think Elena is ready to choose Damon yet.
     - Damon leaving would be a good opportunity to see what Damon is like when he isn't carrying around all the angst and drama of Elena and Mystic Falls.
     - Damon on his own is also a good opportunity for some flashbacks to find out what he's been up to for the last century.  We have a good idea of what Stefan has been up to so now it's his brother's turn to share some backstory.
     - It's a good opportunity for some character growth for Damon.  He's stuck in a rut.

    I perceive Damon leaving as a good thing.

    - We've seen it. Early season 1, and he, unlike Stefan, has had stories and opportunities away from Elena - like Rose, Andie and Katherine.
    - Yeah, but I don't see what Elena choosing him has to do with that.
    - Yes, but that rut is "angst over not being able to have Elena". Seems him winning her ends that rut more permanently than losing her. 

    In terms of setting up the story, and moving plot forward, choosing Damon is the obvious thing. I think they've done a great job creating doubt by spending more time with Stefan and Elena in the last little bit, but there are really only two real options her: Choose neither or choose Damon.

    I just don't see them going back to Stefan and Elena going into Season 4. It's too soon and would seem anti-climactic and redundant.

    We've seen nothing of Damon's backstory from almost the entire 20th century.

    Getting out of the rut can just as easily come from letting go.

    No it's not.  Whomever Elena doesn't choose leaves town.  Stefan already did that for the entire first half of this season and I highly doubt the show would repeat themselves like that.

    My guess? He'd be bored.

    Helping Elena, being around her, tempting her, … That's what makes his life exciting. Elena is always in trouble. First the tomb vampires, now the originals. Always someone is trying to kill her, to kidnap her, … (they need to work on that). Protecting her is like a fulltime job. So, he'd be probably bored without her.

    And as for Katerina …well, I think he is over her. Remember: "Katherine, there are 6 other bedrooms in this house. Go find one."

    I can't really agree with that.  While I'm sure he no doubt has enjoyed his time with Elena, Damon has been around for 160+ years and has only known Elena for two.  I'm sure Damon has found a great many things over the years with which to occupy his time.  I think he'll do just fine on his own.

    Of course he had found a few things to spend his time appropriately during his almost 150 years as a vampire. Mostly sex and blood. But before he met Elena it was all about him and his pleasure. And saving Katerina, of course. But now he's changed. I'm sure, he'll enjoy the sex and blood as much as before, but it won't be enough. This time, he'll need more.

    I love Stephan, he's really sweet and understanding and what is called "marriage material".

    Damon, I like him too, but he's one of those bad boys that you'd date in high school/college but you end up marrying the other guy in the end. Because Damon's exciting but not every girl wants exciting forever. Maybe he'd be eventually though, but that would probably make him boring, and no Damon fan wants to see that, that I know of.

    And for the 100th time: Stefan is calm and safe, until his bloodlust breaks thru and he loses control again. He's pretending to be human till his vampire nature bites him in his hot ass. Damon accepts what he is. That is why he doesn't lose control over his bloodlust.

    I still believe, that Elenas life with Damon would be more exciting. But her relationship with Stefan would last longer.

    I agree with your mom (I can't believe you watch it with your mom. Tell her she's cool).

    Damon and Elena deserve a chance. A good relationship is taking and giving. It would be good for both of them. Remember, what Rose said to Jeremy. But at the end, Elena will choose the calm and peaceful life with Stefan. She probably knows, that her relationship with Damon wouldn't last long.

    That is why I say: Elena, take Damon and have a good time. Stefan can wait.

    I think she'll let them both go and I hope she does too.... I'm bored with it. They all need to be alone and not in this relationship. I just want them all friends which is strange because I've always been a Delena shipper but I just think it would be unfair to put herself between the brothers. Let them both go, Elena and have some fun next season!!! :) !! I know one of the brothers is end game, I think Stefan is end game but I would really like a break from the triangle!!! This season was great when Stefan was off being a ripper, he's much more interesting outside of Elena and now Damon needs to find something to do other than pine for Elena too!! :D !!
