Sons of Anarchy - Season 5 - Harold Perrineau Joins Cast

Sons of Anarchy has tapped Harold Perrineau to join the Season 5 cast in the critical role of Damon Pope.

The Lost vet will play the ex-drug kingpin whose daughter was murdered by Tig in the Season 4 finale, creating what series creator Kurt Sutter recently called a “clusterf***” for Jax and SAMCRO.

“I definitely wanted to lay some track for Season 5 and put some complications already on Jax’s shoulder as he’s sitting at the head of the table,” Sutter told TVLine last year. “He’s already got a problem [going into Season 5].”

    Oh, no, Harry Perrineau was one of the only people I didn´t like on Lost. I love Sons of A., and don´t see him fitting in.

    Well, at least it will be good to see Jax sitting at the head of the table.

    I like it. Hope Sutter writes a good character for him. The season long recurring players are hit and miss for me.

    Beyond Perrineau, who else from Oz do we have?  The actors on that show were utterly fearless, especially Chris Meloni.

    I mean on SoA. We already have Chuck Zito (Chucky Pancamo) on the new season as a NOMAD-memeber of Sons.

    Mixed emotions. I love Harold (I mean not so much in Lost) but if the writing is there then he does an excellent job, which let's be honest Kurt almost always nails it. OZ in an iconic show with actors that to this day are some of my absolute faves (Chris Meloni, BD Wong and Harold Perrineau being in my top five). I even loved Harold in that awful remake of Romeo + Juliette, he was the highlight for me.
