    None.  None of these cancellations are shocking.  They were all canceled for solid reasons whether they be horrid ratings (Ringer) or network incompetence that sabotaged the show from the get-go (Bent).

    If I had to choose one, I'd say The Finder but it's still not really shocking that it was axed.

    I Hate My Teenage Daughter (I thought the humor was genius and a bit of a cool, new storyline for a show). Also Allen Gregory (but only partially, I liked Allen Gregory, but not the whole romance-with-the-principal thingy or whatever).

    Probably Harry's Law as it had the best shot I thought to be renewed since it was good on total viewers.  In terms of quality, Awake was definitely a surprise that so few people watched the awesomeness that was that show.

    Most of them didn't really surprise me, apart from Terra Nova, I loved that, I just didn't want some them to get canceled. I'll miss Pan Am & The Secret Circle too.

    Terra Nova kinda, cuz I believe numbers were okay. Tho I'm glad I wasn't super invested in it, as suspicion about it getting the Axe was rising rapidly as every episode aired.  Still that was one of the few Canned series I could see gaining audience/cult following though.

    I'd pay to see a decent scifi series, seems nothing much popped up since BSG :( Why doesn't anyone do a space-pirated orientated series (I'm sure they could throw it in the blender with lots of other genre cliches, like heists and such)

    TSC, according to the cancellation prediction table the ratings did better than all the CW Shows (besides Supernatural and TVD of course), I don't know how GG and HoD go renewed and not TSC

    4 weeks ago, it would have been Secret Circle.  Now, none of them are too shocking.  I guess the biggest one for me is Terra Nova considering it was getting better ratings than a lot of stuff showing now. I know it was expensive but they could have cut costs and raised quality by killing off the Shannon family.

    The Finder! I thought Fox would be okay with not so great ratings on a Friday but they are never happy I guess. That was a good show, different from the rest but I guess even with Hart Hanson and the success of Bones they decided not to back it any longer.

    Sad to see "Awake" is canned, but not shocked. "Awake" had unique conception. But, I am thankful that all my favorite shows are returning even though some shows cut down with short episodes.

    BOOO to the CW if they would have hung on that show could be just as big as Vampire Diaries Loved the show.. Disappointed actually.. lost OTH , secret circle and the pilot for the selection didnt make it.. BOOO CW BOOO!!!

    I know that the ratings for TSC wasn't that good but not bad. I thought it was a lock in for a second season. This left me really mad! The last few episodes has gotten better in quality and the cliffhanger looked promising for a second season storyline. 

    I was a fan of Hellcats last year but when it got cancelled, I sort of understand it. But with this show, NO! I think if TSC got a second season, it would have gotten better footing in storylines like The Vampire Diaries..  I like Nikita and Hart of Dixie, but would be glad to give up one of these show for TSC to return. I think for me, it would be HoD because storywise, Nikita is better...

    The Secret Circle, it had more change of renewal than Hart Of Dixie, but still TSC is cancelled and Hart Of Dixie is renewed. I'm still pissed.

    The Secret Cirlce got canceled because it had the sweet spot in the programming and wasn't using it, whereas HoD got renewed because it had the worst lead-in in the network and still managed to find a loyal audience.

    I am so not happy about CW cancelling The Secret Circle! I mean, that's really not a good way to cancel a show specially when there's still a lot of witching and balcoin stuff to look forward to!! I hope ABC picks up TSC for a Season 2. The reason why I hate CW so much is that they always cancel the good ones instead of those other crappy shows which is worth cancelling..

    The Secret Circle, actually had some killer potential but I guess they won't get the second chance. There's loads of petitions going around though to get them to reconsider with thousands of signatures. You can find them at savethecircle.tumblr and their twitter.

    I'm going to say again: The Secret Circle. Why? Hm, I don't know, maybe because it had so much potential. Because it was the one of the best rated shows in the network. Because so many more people watched  TSC over HoD, and the ratings were higher than GG.

    Too bad the CW was too foolish to see that. And now all of the TSC fans, myself included, are protesting and boycotting. LONG LIVE TSC.

    Do network ever look at a show properly before cancelling them? or do they just look at the numbers? :/ I quite liked the secret circle and Terra Nova, both  fairly decent shows. Why are shows like gossip girl not cancelled?

    The Secret Circle. The show was good, nice story, cast...they let us with a bunch of questions that was supposed to be answered in the next season. Sad. I just wanna know what tv shows they will put in the places all these tv shows left.

    for me, This one is really one of the best. Why ?
    1/ the story is one of the most attractive I've ever seen. I love vampire diarie since the beginning, however when I saw TSC, it just became my favorite tv show in the same place as VD !
    2/ With it, it's no really possible to say that it'll have the "happy ending". TSC is UNPREDICTABLE tht's what i love
    3/ the actors let us feel not only the beautiful side of magic, but also his darkness.
    4/ the Last episode was just AWESOME !

    Actually when I saw it was a story about magic, I just thought "hmm... and what ? are we gonna have fairies, and all the blabla ?!" ... well, now I totally changed my mind. I sincerely hope it'll not gonna be canceled !!!

    Not in the list, but Missing. I didn't really pay attention to the ratings, so this came out of the blue. The show is so good, great actors, interesting locations, and everything done with so much care. It was a joy to watch. That there is a season finale after only ten episodes allready surprised me, and that this will be the last episode overall, frankly shocked me. I had hoped that the show would travel all over the world during its run.

    Nikita was a LOT more steady in the ratings than TSC. Nikita started the season with 0,6 and ended with 0,4. Only dropping 0,2 (or 33% in demos), plus it was on friday

    While TSC was totally dependant of the VD ratings (going up and down with the ratings of TVD). it started with 1,3 and finished at 0,5, losing over 60% (0,8 on 1,3) of their ratings in the years. it was bleeding out in term of ratings. Bring TSC back another year and that would've been a trainweck to maybe 0,3-0,2 or lower

    Its safer to have a steady show on friday, than a show's freefalling on thursday

    The secret circle fans keep signing the petitions keep emailing cw and tweeting. Get the medias attention. That's what we need. There's 2 petitions going with of 14 thousand signatures. Were winning the poll on this site. Keep it up, we need to save this show. Don't watch anything on cw live download it record it anything but live. I wanna see them tank in the ratings. Create blogs comment on here. Get as many people you know to comment vote sign the petitions. Its worked before it can work again. Especially for a good show. And notice that spoilertv doesn't have anything about all the waves the fans are creating. Cw prolly has them in their pockets. Pathetic.

     The show did not have solid ratings.  TSC's ratings took a sharp dive in the spring and never stabilized.  The show squandered the network's best lead-in and, by the end of the season, Hart of Dixie was beating it in the ratings.

    The Secret Circle. The show was truly awesome and I can't believe that they would cancel it. It had such high ratings and the season finale left me, and I'm pretty sure everyone else, hanging. It would be a really big disappointment to all the fans if this show got cancelled. I hope it comes back on, but I'm pretty sure it's not going to. :/

    I think that with all the hiatuses the CW had didn't fare well with viewers. I found it hard to keep up with when it was on so I am not surprises ratings fell during the mid season. Every two weeks it would be coming back after a break. I thought it was ridiculous and a factor in why a show that was good and had pretty good viewer numbers like the secret circle got the chop
