The ending was a bit to extra for me...I like my nutjobs to be clandestine ... but I loved how this episode was filmed......FLOTUS..wow...there are no words, faked a miscarriage....Olivia and Fitz, they are hot together and dang her body is banging (I've got to get to the gym) it's amazing how these show's make you root for the star-crossed lovers...can't wait for next week.
This is the second show with an nieve reporter who stupidly meets with the subject of a major (and potentially) dangerous story in a nice private spot where their murder can easily be carried out. I knew this guy was dead the minute he started working on his computer. I really hope they didn't hold this over to a hoped for next season. Billy Chambers was too....emotional to work for me as a long term villain. Really, if I were doing something like this in real live I'd be using movies as lessons to prepare for worst case scenarios. :-) I keep expecting fictional characters to apply the same logic. Is that nuts?
Did NOT expect that audio recording to be of Olivia. Did not expect the affair with the reporter story to end up with his death. I was all primed for the typical betrayal story. I love it when I'm wrong. I'm expecting next weeks ep to be very different from what the promo implies.
Anyway, loved this ep. I have never had so many new series that I expected to hate (or at least be bored with) to be favorites in one season.
I definitely thought they did a good job in this episode of presenting the the Olivia/Fitz relationship. Lots and lots of seduction in this episode, which of course is the ultimate scandal, and I like how they upped the ante with some very seductive music! From James Brown ("Baby You're Right" plays when Quinn + Gideon are in bed together eating cheese) and The Album Leaf ("The Light" plays when Fitz and Liv are in the hallway and on Liv's couch) there was some great steamy music setting the mood.
Best episode in awhile for this show, although I do hope that we see an increased role of the snoopy media in this show I think that'd be more realistic.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Fitz and Olivia. Enough said.
ReplyDeleteHOLY SHIT. I loved that episode and was not expecting the end!
ReplyDeleteABC desperately needs to renew this for a second season.
HOTTTT
