Holy fuck. I can't believe the building actually exploded. And yay at Tiva being in the elevator when the explosion happened.
AND WHOA AT THE END? WHAT JUST HAPPENED? WHAT JUST HAPPENED? IS DUCKY DEAD? HE CAN'T BE DEAD. DAVID JUST RE-UPPED HIS CONTRACT. I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON ANYMORE.
If Ducky dies, I will have a stroke. I have loved David since I was a teen and he played Ilya Kuryakin on the Man From Uncle. Sheesh. I'm showing my age. lol
Abby looked okay as Gibbs pushed her down, Tiva in the elevator-at least they can protect each other. Where was Vance? I missed if he got out on time. Poor McGee looked like he got hurt pretty bad from all that glass. And then Ducky... Great finale but now we actually have to wait until Sept. to find out what happened. So frustrating.
Dearing only gets this round. I don't think any of them are dead. Especially not Ducky. Though there will be repercussions. Though I think Vance was in his office, because he looked to headed there. I was actually sad to see Cole die, the fact that he was actually willing the help was a good thing. Though it doesn't make up for all the stuff he put them through earlier in the season. I knew Tiva fans would go all nutty for the fact that Tony and Ziva were in the elevator together. I love Tony and Ziva, but I don't want them together romantically, it would ruin the show.
Geez what a season finale. I hope Ducky doesn't get washed out to sea and never found. Hopefully Palmer will sense something is wrong and save him. As for the others I'm guessing lots of cuts and bruises that won't stop them from solving this horrible crime. In the end this changes everything.
Since they've been stretching tiva out since season 3, seven seasons now, the last thing one can say about them is that a romantic involvement would be 'sudden'.
I cried at the finale, im not gonna lie..it was so sad, watching Ducky having a stroke..but my concern is, Palmer was still in Florida, RIGHT!!! Because if he was in the building... agh i need to know what happenen now!!
Well this show was just Ducky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When Ducky had that stroke / heart attack at the beach...my husband looked at me in horror.....I quickly said " not to worry Ducky just signed his contract...he will be fine" my husband laughed for about 3 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!LOL OTHERWISE I would have been very very upset if my Ducky was gone!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sam better not be gone!!!!!!!!!!!! I want her back on this show! I am sure everyone will be okay....the thing to worry about next season is the WRATH of GIBBS! He will be off the hook......out to lunch.....in the zone....!! Oh BTW I think that Jimmy will have a more prominent role in the show...maybe Ducky will be in a wheel chair or handicapped in some way so Jimmy will be have to step up to the plate big time. I think that's why we had to see that scene about him needing to be with his co-workers/family! Sort of an omen!
What federal agent GETS INTO AN ELEVATOR while trying to evacuate a building? (Not that I mind the forced Tiva-time that will hopefully happen in the premiere while others try to find them.)
What can I say about the last 5 minutes? That is one of the best NCIS cliffhangers in years. Poor Ducky!!!! I hope Palmer finds out that something happened to Ducky. McGee was still in the bullpen when the bomb exploded....oh, no. And where was Vance? Gibbs got to Abby in just enough time to shield her from the blast. Tony and Ziva were in the elevator.....I guess they thought they had enough time to get out. Loved how Ziva hung onto Tony for dear life and Tony wrapping his arm around her to protect her. It's gonna be a long, long summer, I can tell you that.
I thought the episode was kind of boring. Hope Colin isn't dead. He was the best part of the episode. Have no idea what Tony's role is on the show anymore./ Ziva and Tim appear to be mature capable agents and at times seem to outrank him. He doesn't act like a SFA. I felt Ducky's supposed death was anticlimatic. Who uses an elevator during a bomb threat? Aren't there regulations against that?
Wow. Just wow. I loved the episode... I couldn't take my eyes off my screen the entire time. Jimmy and Breena were cute. Tony regifting that DVD was... well, childish and kind of stupid. but I do love him :) Tiva talking about weddings was sweet and they're in the elevator together!!! They looked fine, only that something big fell on them in the last frame. I hope they didn't get hurt too badly. Ducky will live... though his eyes looked really dead in that second to last shot. I hope Jimmy finds him. Abby, Gibbs and Tim looked unharmed, hopefully. I think the explosion just knocked them back. Maybe glass splinters and big scratches. Please let everybody else sign their contracts soon so we can breathe again. I can't imagine the show without any of them!
I really missed a little bit of fire fight or butt kicking in this finale :) But otherwise: AWESOME!!!
Well, Ducky having a heart attack was like a huge surprise to me, but in retrospect it was realistic, considering the news he just got. I don't think that Ducky will be in a wheelchair. There are so many ways to rehabilitate. He needs to be found soon (by Jimmy) though to be okay. I don't mind Jimmy stepping up a little, though. He's definitely shown his qualities some times and deserves the credit.
I really can't wait for September now. This was definitely the best season finale we have ever seen on NCIS and the one with the biggest cliffhanger. There's so much in the open right now, it is almost killing me.
Looks like Ducky had a stroke. Which is what the producer alluded to when he said the actor would be around but who knew in what capacity. Jimmy coming back early will obviously step into Ducky's spot and we will get to see what it's like dealing with a post stroke person. Of the rest McGee looked to potentially be the worst injury.
OMG! I'm glad Tiva, Abby and Gibbs were together in this explosion, while I'm really worried now about Mc Gee and Palmer, may be alone under the rubble! And Ducky... I was so afraid for him after the last episode! And now I can't help but thinking he is dead, despite the fact that the actor is supposed to have a contract for next season...it could be a trick, right ?
- The idea of continuing this revenge/terrorist storyline into next season is a bad one. It wasn't very good to begin with. - The way it was filmed, the explosion from outside of the building looks as if it probably didn't do much more than stun a few of the agents. - Ducky collapsed but, thanks to the internet, his contract renewal tells us he'll be fine eventually. - Just when Scott Wolf's character was given some good material, they kill the guy. - The only good part about this ongoing plot is that it scared off JLC's character. Hopefully she stays off the grid.
I found it boring as hell, except for the last five minutes. NCIS was one of my favourite shows but I don't really like it anymore... :( it seems like on ab few episodes Tony's character is written by people that don't know him, I mean, sometimes he's this awesome funny and smart guy and sometimes he's just a child. And Ziva is not a kickarse ninja assassin anymore, sometimes it's like she's not even there... So yes, I'll be watching the next season's first episode, but I'll stop watching the show after... makes me kind of sad.
sadly you are right. I miss the stuff that makes me love those characters so much! - Tony being silly, BUT sweet - Ziva being kick-ass, BUT a great cook (you know what I mean?)
Best thing about this episode: Stratton/Cole. Hell, this role/actor is brilliant! I hope he isn't dead. (There could have been enough time between the last we see of Cole and the explosion. If Gibbs didn't teleport into Abby's lab, like he did in ToC.)
I don't doubt that all will be fine and not dead. Okay, maybe Ducky has to deal with consequences of the stroke, but he won't be dead either.
I guess it speaks for itself if the Navy Yard explodes, the team is inside, Ducky gets a stroke and my main concern is that the bad guy Cole got away from the explosion. That I really really do hope. Otherwise... the most boring season finale for me.
I'm hoping that none of them die! We know that David McCallum signed a two year contract. Gary Glasberg said he would be back too. It will be interesting to see how Ducky copes with having almost died. Dr Kate's sister (I just had to) said that it's ironic that he's working with the dead all day every day at his age (Well she said something like that) :)
I thought it was a great continuation of the storyline but they need to end it in 10;01 because if they keep stretching out this Harper Dearing storyline it'll get boring. If any of Tony, Mcgee or Abby (the 3 who could die) die, then Gibbs needs to go out at the end and push him of the top of a cliff, shooting him as he goes down.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Holy fuck. I can't believe the building actually exploded. And yay at Tiva being in the elevator when the explosion happened.

I want to say awful because of the cliffhanger! But I guess that's what makes it "Awesome".
ReplyDeleteIf Ducky dies, I will have a stroke. I have loved David since I was a teen and he played Ilya Kuryakin on the Man From Uncle. Sheesh. I'm showing my age. lol

Holy Shit what the hell is going on? How could Ducky die he just signed a contract.....
ReplyDeleteGreat cliffhanger i didn't see that coming at all.i wonder if Jamie is coming back next year?
Aww Palmer the two of you are adorable,i hope you finally get to have a honeymoon.of course after this mess, that is...
Can. Not. Wait. Till. September!
Holy Crap! Dearing won! Killed many innocent people and possibly Gibbs, Abby, Ziva, Tony, Tim and Dr. Mallard! Wow what a finale!
ReplyDeleteDearing only gets this round. I don't think any of them are dead. Especially not Ducky. Though there will be repercussions. ReplyDeletei got to agree with you on this one. they have stretched tiva for so many seasons their sudden romantic involvement would not make much sense now....
ReplyDeleteGeez what a season finale. I hope Ducky doesn't get washed out to sea and never found. Hopefully Palmer will sense something is wrong and save him. ReplyDeleteDo it, or get off the pot.
i just hope that Palmer wasnt in the building when the explosion happened... i cant live without Jimmy

ReplyDeletethat why this series is the best scripted over the top of the word AWESOME
ReplyDeleteit about time i am not agree with you about tony & ziva those two need a wake up call and finally have it
ReplyDeleteDucky won't die, David McCallum signed a contract to be on NCIS for the next two years. He's not going anywhere. :D
ReplyDeleteI am not sure it is a good thing to be in an elevator during an explosion :)
ReplyDeleteWell this show was just Ducky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ReplyDeleteOtherwise, great episode.
You can't rely on contracts to figure out if/who died.
ReplyDeletethat was a heart stoping cliffhanger!
ReplyDeletein fact, thats how the television works. =)

agree, I was thinking exactly that. In an emergency evacuation (a bomb scare) who the hell gets into an elevator especially federal agents.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Ducky had a stroke. Which is what the producer alluded to when he said the actor would be around but who knew in what capacity. This was disappointing for a handful of reasons.
ReplyDelete- The idea of continuing this revenge/terrorist storyline into next season is a bad one.
Palmer wasn't in the explosion he was in Florida getting married.

That was a great cliffhanger but I really hope they aren't messing with the chemistry of the characters.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was a great continuation of the storyline but they need to end it in 10;01 because if they keep stretching out this Harper Dearing storyline it'll get boring.
