agree. This was the first episode all season (other than the premier) that I was looking foward to and thinking about all week before it and it DID NOT DISSAPOINT. Whats even better is that I was expecting this episode to end in tears (I was sure Wilson was going to die tonight) and it ended in one of the funniest and sweetest scenes ever on House. House really is a good friend and he really loves Wilson. He really loves his friend and I would love to hear him say that before the finale. I'm pretty sure Wilson is still going to die in the end, but I'm glad we get at least another episode of bromance (also loved how House refered to them as a Bromance and how they brought up the "gay" thing as it had been a big, albiet rediculous, fandom topic for years)
this episode is more than awesome cover all the bases and for the first time his crew solve a case without house, show also how deep is house friendship with wilson but the end OMG that was so hillarius and cool the best episode ever
Amazing episode. RSL and Hugh Laurie are such great actors. I'll admit I cried once or twice. If Wilson does die at the end of the show, there's going to be some major sobbing.
My favourite parts: - Anything and everything House/Wilson, the ending especially! - Chase unofficially (and in a very subbtle and natural progression) taking over the department.
Nice to see the team can work without Greg. I forgot it was the episode directed by Hugh Laurie in the middle. It was much better than "Lockdown". That's why I changed from Great to Awesome. The end was fantastic.
Great episode even though the case of the week was a little weak. All of the House / Wilson stuff was fantastic and this episode had one of the best House endings ever.
This episode was so much better than Lockdown i think because the main focus was on House and Wilson and cuddy wasn't the featured player running around the hospital in a low cut top and saving the day in some ridiculously ludicrous way. Also, the balance between the scenes with House and without him in this episode were more balanced than in Lockdown. The POTW story mirrored the House/Wilson story, and amazingly, we didn't miss seeing Foreman and Taub chasing each other and acting silly.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Nothing like a little "Weekend at Bernie's" to cut the tension.
ReplyDeleteOne of the best episodes of House I've ever seen. Robert Sean Leonard deserves an Emmy.
ReplyDeleteThey both deserve an emmy for acting and Hugh for directing. Hands down the best episode of this season and probably one of the best of the series.

ReplyDeleteNew favourite. Didn't even think that was possible.
ReplyDeleteThat ending was fantastic, it was just what he needed, to laugh! Truly do love their bromance.
