    OMG I can't freaking believe it, another non stop,action packed finale,wow!

    But what the hell i can't believe Kono is dead or going to be dead by the time anyone gets out there.I think its safe to say Kono is swimming with the fishes..

    I knew since last year it was going to be Steve's mom,they basically gave it away then.

    I called it,i knew Tom Seizmore,Capt Fryer was going to by itSo long Tom didn't like you anyway!

    If by some magic Kono comes out of this alive i will be totally pissed off.Don't get me wrong,its not that i want her to die,but get real how in the world does she get herself out of this? Even if someone was there above the water by the time he got to her she would be dead,where would you even start to look?

    Great episode all in all,can't wait for next season!

    DAMN!! It's going to be a long lonngg summer! Don't know how I feel about McGarret's Mom. Glad to see Danny fighting back against Rachel. He better win!! As for Chin and Kono, something tells me that the emotions and feelings that appear during this episode and the Season 3 premiere episode are going to cause a ripple effect thoughout Season 3. As I said IT'S GOING TO BE A LONG LONNGG SUMMER.

    This was great.  I had a feeling either Mom or Dad would be Shelburne.  They did solve it, but we have to find out what happened to Mom.  Kono will be alright, I think Adam saving her would be good.  Glad Max is OK.  Danny fighting for Grace again, should be good.  Poor Chin, I think he is going to be messed up for a while.  Can't wait for season 3.

    Pretty good ep with a lot of action, but the timelines and pacing of the last quarter of the ep felt a bit awkward as it seemed like they were trying to jam all the cliffhangers in with not much setup, but they were easy to understand nonetheless. I figure that Kono will be fine as she's supposed to be a world class surfer/water baby I'm sure she'll be fine unless she's weighted down, and as for Mom?? I read somewhere that that might be the twist so it wasn't too surprising. Still, a very entertaining ep

    Now that's what I want from Hawaii Five-0.  That ep was a roller coaster ride.  Good gravy!

    My official guess is that Chin called Adam.  Bet that number wasn't monitored.  I do hope Malia is okay....mostly because I hate the token spouse/significant other murder stories. 

    I spent a lot of eps this season barely interested in the first half of episodes...but this last batch have been really good.  The finale was awesome.

    Well it looks like Delano was going to kill both Malia and Kono, no matter who Chin chose to save.  I don't think Kono will die either, unless Grace Park has decided she doesn't want to work on the show anymore and would rather be at home in Vancouver with her husband. 

    I suspected that Shelburne was either the mother or the father.  It had been much discussed amongst my friends way back when Shelburne was first introduced.  I am wondering how she killed Wo Fat's father.  I wonder how that story will really finish and what exactly did Steve's father know when he first approached Wo Fat about Shelburne or was he fishing to figure out what Wo Fat knew about Shelburne in that video from the Governor's office. 

    Good to see Joe back.  Glad Max didn't die, but I kind of liked Fryer, he was tough and made life more interesting for Steve and friends at the beginning.  Now we wait to see how everything will play out.  I hope that Danny gets custody of Grace, wonder how that will affect his life as a cop, if he becomes a full time dad.

     I thought the same thing regarding Kono... Chin would call Adam, & he would come to save her... & with an attack on Kono, Delano not only has to face the wrath of Steve & 50, but Adam & Yakuza as well...

    I always figured that Shelburne would be someone really really close to Steve, & all the secrecy made me think that it was his dad, but his mom is no surprise...

    Cant wait for season 3...

    I would have loved to vote for Awesome, but sadly I just voted for Great this time around. When Chin busted Delano out of the prison I felt like I just missed half an hour of an episode. I had no idea what the hell was going on. I don't know. I just think it could have been done better.

    I kind of knew/suspected who Shelburne was way back in S1, but it still came as a bit of a shock. I thought either Steve's Dad was still alive, or his Mom. Turns out it was his Mom. The look on Steve's face when she opened the door :( I just wanted to hug him.

    Chin having to choose between Kono and Malia, now that was just effing cruel. I'm sure Chin's called Adam though, as soon as he left Delano. There is no way in hell he would let Kono die. No way in hell.

    Rachel. Oh, well. I liked her back in S1, then was kind of annoyed when her and Danny got back together at the end of S1, started to dislike her at the beginning of S2 and tonight the last straw broke. I really hope Danny does everything within his power to prevent Rachel taking Grace away from him. Again. And I know he will. I don't care if he has to drag her through the mud, after everything she's done to him in the past, and is obviously willing to do again, I will happily watch it happen.

    All in all it was definitely a great episode and a great season finale, but I still think the S1 finale was better. Thtat's just my personal opinion, though.

    the best police series cliffhanger episode to many situacion unravel and the end wooow steve mom is the suppose bad guy who is the actress portraying the character.

    I was already out of breath after just fifteen minutes. WOW, how action packed was that show? That woman was really a mean b****.

    I loved every bit of it until the last five minutes or so. The whole Delano mess was a bit sudden. It was like something big was missing.

    Do I really need another drama about Danny/Grace/Rachel? Not really, that is getting a bit boring. But at least this time he stays and fights for little Gracie.

    LOVED the raid at the vet clinic, best take down of a criminal so far.

    Danny and Steve in the car are just too great to be true. Love them so much.

    Malia will hopefully make it.

    Kono, really, you and Adam are still together? Are you kidding me?

    The only thing I didn't like and think is a stupid move is Shelburne being Mom McG. I'm sorry, but I was worried for months now that they would go that way. Ever since Joe has called someone after kidnapping Hiro. I was really hoping they would not be so cruel and have her have faked her death. How can they have done that to their kids? I'm interested to see how Steve will handle the biggest betrayal of all times. I wished the McGarrett's seniors were really dead. This is a cheap shot and I don't like it. And Mr. Lenkov that was not jaw dropping at all, but I think by most people expected.

    Last season's cliffhanger was way better. This year I'm very calm and can surely wait for the conclusion of this. Kono will come back for sure. Malia might not, poor Chin. Danny's 'drama' will play over the the season, but I'm really not interested in that one. And Steve and his mom, well, I'm not sure how he will handle that.

    All in all an awesome episode. And I'm willing to wait for the conclusion before my final verdict about the mom mess.

    Awesome - but how am I going to cope with all the cliffhangers?!

    I had an idea that Shelburne would be either Steve's mum or dad. Can't wait to see who's cast and where that storyline goes. It was good to see Joe back as well - I hope we see him back even though Terry O'Quinn has a new show.

    Rachel - gotta admit I'm slightly annoyed with her inconsistant characterisation. Just when her and Danny are ok, she wants to move to Vegas. It did show that Danny considers Hawaii home now though.

    They better not kill Malia - she would be an easy target but I hope they don't go down that route. I was happy that we saw she wasn't definitely dead. I like happy Chin and I like Malia!

    I can't see Kono dying unless Grace Park has chosen to leave. I hope not - it would be horrible to see the team deal with that. I don't like her and Adam together but it seems a good idea for Chin to call him. I hope Adam/Kono doesn't continue in series 3 - when will Fong get his chance?

    Fingers crossed the next time Chin sees Delano he has his shotgun and the 5-0 teams members behind him.

    All I can say is that last night's show was awesome and wow to all the cliffhangers! At the end, when Steve went to find out who Shellburn was, I had a thought that it might be one of his parents-probably his Dad, but was he around when his Mom was "killed"? It must have been a difficult choice for Chin to make in between his wife and cousin, but I figured he would pick his wife. So, now the long break until fall, but I am so glad that the show will be returning. Cannot wait for the new season to begin and hopefully no major dramas come the fall!

    the actress that plays Malia has a new show in September that is what I have been told, maybe Malia dies, I hope not. The episode was great but predictable at least for me.Most people knew that Shelbourne was steve's mom, Danny will he is always having custody problems. Fryer being killed wellI said probably Delano is ex partner. Why would 2 thieves interested killing the 5-0 team. My take Kono will be fine she probably has knife on her and she is a good swimmer. I hope kono does not die. Another thing this is me, I don't know if anyone of you think the same way, it is leading to the revelation that wofat is Steve's half brother. I think it would be great.

    Overall great episode! Have to agree with you guys on the missing 30 min of the show in between all the action and the triple (!!!) cliffhanger. My mind sort of went 'WHAT?!?!? OH!!!'
    True the whole 'Rachel-trying-to-take-Grace-away-from-Danny'-plot is getting a bit old.... But it does open up for the possibility of a custody-battle-episode! Danny and Rahel fighting in court, and the team standing up as character-witnesses for their Danno. Could be kind of great :-D

    Personally i always thought that Shelbourne was steve's mom, when Joe white said Steve's is getting to close. That is where I knew it was Steve's mom, yesterday when steve said mom I said it at the same time. For Danny, well Rachel will probably divorce Stan, the actor that plays stan is acting on another show. Remember during the year James Caan asked the producers if Rachel and Danny will get together, well i don't know and personally I don't want them together. Plus the actress that plays Gabby probably won't be back because she is also playing on another show. Chin and Kono like you said will have a ripple effect maybe maybe not, sometimes the show has no continuation. Another thing I think that wofat is steve's half brother, we will see if I'm wrong or not. If I'm wrong so be it, but they should do the story.

    it is funny I think wofat is steve's half brother, either the mom had an affair or the father had an affair. Remember the restaurant scene with steve and wofat, wofat said don't look too much into your family history that he wouldn't like what he found out.

    I agree with this.

    I thought the first 2/3 of the finale was action packed and exciting. Then all of a sudden we see Chin with Delano(?) and this is all the explanation of what happened so far without any lead in. It almost seemed to me as if tptb wrote way too much material and then had to condense it down to fit in their time frame.

    Oh well, I am hoping for much better writing in season 3 since I felt season 2 had it's ups and downs all year.

    A lot of people were guessing it was his mum all the way throughout the season.  I knew it was her when Joe started talking about Shelburne.  The clues didn't add up in the Champ box so I knew it was her

    And I have to admit this season of Castle was a bore for me it was too much like Bones too me I was sick of Caskett trying to figure out when they should fall in love and a couple of my friends did agree on the matter as well.

    Five-0 is completely different to Castle at least they can after the suspect and find him/her within 5 minutes of the show than just standing around trying to figure how it happened

    Peter said teh ending will be a surprise to everyone.  He and Alex said that the Shelburne mystery will be solved but you had to think very hard to figure out who it was.  So pretty much that was the cliffhanger.

    But the question is I wonder if Alex & Terry received the script of the ending on teh final day of shooting again like last seasons finale because Alex said the end scene was filmed on the last day and last shot of the season in the thank you video

    Okay If I was Danny I would let my daughter get as far away from me as possible.....omigosh.....when everyones family is being dragged into this mess it is no wonder that Danny's daughter was safe! I really like Kono but I thnk she should be dead! These shows have to stop making these regular humans X-men! I know she is a surfer chick but really? Seriously? I love every scene with Locke(sorry I can only remember that name) LOL.....Chin (Daniel) WOW this guy can act.......from Jin to Chin and what a performance!!!! This is a great show....I know it would be hard to break up the team by killing off Kono but it is Five O not a DC comic book with super human never die people.....BTW I loved the scene in the vets office when Danny asked Steve "whats wrong with you?" after he pushed the chair in to hallway and slid out shooting LOLOL I also loved the talk they had in the car about "talking" LOL I also loved when Danny said "don't give me that Navy Seal look" LOLOL Great lines delivered ....Steve and Danny are great partners!!!!!!!!!

Now we just have to see who is mom is and what she looks like for that matter.It would have to lie on his mothers side we know who his farther was,certainly not from the islands or Japanese.     I thought it was pretty awesome. Was it predictable? Only in the end. The dirty cop (sorry I can't remember his name) being the one behind the plot was pretty smart. I didn't expect that. And the action, whew it was pretty crazy. As soon as Steve spoke to that woman in the HPD hallway I knew that she was the shooter. What I'm really surprised about is how the whole cast thought the fans would be blown away by Shelburne being Steve's mom. I think a lot of fans expected that. Did I say "mom" along with Steve in the last scene? No, because there was a tiny bit of uncertainity. But I had a pretty good idea that it was going to be her, to the point that I kind of said it in my head as he said it. I think the reason why everyone expected that was because they never gave us anyone else besides her to suspect of being Shelburne. Joe could have been Shelburne, but once Steve suspected that Joe had lied to him that possibility was gone. Maybe they should have revealed that part a little later than they did. Shelburne had to be someone pretty close to Steve and also pretty mysterious and his mom fit that role. If they really wanted to blow our minds, I know 2 people who Shelburne could have been that would've definitely been a surprise. 1. Lori. That was my first idea but I quickly eliminated it because she's probably not going to be back on the show and it just didn't make any sense at all. I'm not one of the apparently many people who hated her. I was always pretty much neutral on that one. Didn't like her but didn't mind her either. 2. Steve's girlfriend. This one would've been much more possible and I'm pretty sure no one would've seen it coming because everyone was expecting it to be his mom. Although it wouldn't make a lot of sense right now, I'm sure over the summer the writers could've come up with a fairly realistic back story. We also know that she's going to be a regular next season, so it would've made sense there also. She's close to Steve and we don't know nearly enough about her yet so she would've fit the role quite well also. The ending really reminded me of the Chuck season 3 finale and I'm pretty sure most other Chuck fans would probably agree. But anyway, I'm really excited to meet Steve's mom and to start getting some of those answers. Looking forward to season 3.
