Loved seeing Sam and Callen in Hawaii. Also glad to see the end of the Comescu story, though I would have liked to have seen it end actually on NCIS:LA. Also the doctor was on Supernatural a couple of seasons back as the prophet Chuck, for any SN fans out there that watch this show.
I've actually never seen an episode of NCIS:LA, so I really didn't know the two characters very well. However, I think they gave enough backstory for the two guys so I was able to follow along well enough. Tomorrow should be interesting though. Can't wait! :D
Decent ep. I think that I was hoping for more with the interactions. The writers obviously tried for some snappy dialogue (ala the Steve/Danny bromance) that didn't have nearly the delivery or content that we usually see. It got better for me towards the end, but not enough to rate it above "great", guess I'll check out NCIS:LA for the finale, but I can only wonder how good this would've been with Alex on board...
Not really worth the buzz it had before it even aired. It was so very obvious that a big part of Five-0 was missing. Way more than in the Masi-ep. Guess the writers and actors did the best with the RL situation that was forced onto them. But it was just an okay ep and it would have been so much better with McG in it. Steve and Sam alone would have been great. It all felt a little forced. For me it's one episode to 'watch and forget', not something I would like to watch again. Will watch the conclusion but somehow I don't really care how it ends. Loved Max though, was nice to see him at HQ.
I thought this was great. Some people just don't like crossovers. I do, and hope that they do another with McGarrett in it. The writers stayed true to the characters. I also, thought Comescu should have gone to LA though, otherwise I loved the episode.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteEnjoyed it, but missed McGarrett...please do another Crossover episode and explain why it is that McGarrett owes Sam a steak...now that could be epic!
