I actually love the show. It's not a perfect 10 most of the time, but it's enjoyable, better then 75% of what is on the CW. Other then my favorite Supernatural and of course the Vampire Diaries, I watch nothing on the network
Wow, everybody's all across the board on this one. I for one was cringing the whole time. Mainly I wanted to punch Lemon in the face the whole time. I can't believe that George went back to her after this episode-she was especially insufferable in this one. Every time I saw her smiling that super happy fake smile or professing that she just KNEW that they would make it through this because of their love I simultaneously wanted to gag and hit her. Sorry I'm done ranting about that now.
I didn't like how Zoey ended up hurting Wade either after Lavon made it especially clear that he had feelings for her. I was glad that Lavon made her leave in the last scene-she didn't deserve to rant in that moment.
The only bright spots were Tom and his blooming romance and Rose. That's the only thing that saved me rating the episode as awful. Hopefully next week's episode will be better.
I don't understand why Zoe has to have a boyfriend to begin with. It was suppose to be a show about a young doctor moving to small town and having problems to adjust but now it focuses only on Zoe and her boy problems.
It was a good episode but A) it didn't have enough Zoe/Wade - and from the promo pics I know there were at least two scenes that were cut out (Zoe taking charge of assembling the cart and them switching clothes) so they edited a bunch of stuff out to add what? More George bits? I could have done with less of those! and B) as an episode it did have a major focus on the things that annoy me a bit about the show... mostly Lemon, Zoe acting like a selfish-love-struck-teenager and George being so flip floppy undecided....
But there were good bits too. Rose, Tom, Wade, Lavon, Tansie, the counseling session (yes it was Lemon/George but it was the right kind of funny).... Oh and I really dislike Rose's mum!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

It could be good episode but I'm sick of Zoe acting like a teenager... and now she's in love with George... what a joke.
ReplyDeleteI prefer Wade, but it was clear from the start that Zoe had feelings for George.
