That moment when Cristina hugged Alex and called him 'demon spawn' genuinely made me cry.
ARIZONA IS NOT ALLOWED TO DIE. She has a new baby! Her and Alex are the only people I'm truly invested in anymore. And she basically adores him like he's her brother and that's GOOD for him. Oh man. I hate how this show manipulates me.
It was a great episode. I can't wait for next week. Though I know that Patrick Dempsey and the others renewed their contracts, I still can't help but be scared about what's going to happen to all of them. I really had wot cry while watchting the ende and especially next week's promo.
Staying awake the whole night was definitely worth it! Good night everybody :)
Arizona wasn't on the plane was she? The last time i seen her she was yelling at alex and her and callie were not wearing the blue jackets the others getting on the plane were wearing
I loved when Cristina hugged Alex. I was so happy for him. And totally agree, he and AZ need to stay together. They're really good for each other. Loved the lunch room scene, too. Cristina doing her April impression was LOL.
DITTO! why did she have to get on the plane! why! and yeah i love their scenes together! Alex And Arizona are great! i want them together next season as well!
I know Hunt has a lot on his plate right now, but I was incredibly pissed off at how he handled the April situation. If anyone else had failed the boards their mentor would have sat them down and offered some form of encouragement. Bailey would have done it for Merideth, Teddy would have done it for Cristina, and you had better believe Arizona and Mark would have done it for Karev and Avery. I understand that Hunt can't hire April back- that was a decision he made as a chief. But to not provide any sort of comfort or listening ear to the doctor he is trying to help become a trauma surgeon (in what is probably their first interaction since she failed) is unacceptable.
She really brings out the best in him and I love there being a mentor/student relationship that didn't involve sex. Although maybe that's why they've had the Chief more involved in Alex's storylines these past few episodes so that he could take over when Arizona is killed.
Smart move. I prefer mentor arizona than mentor richard...... I just wonder what made shonda what to kill off someone too important forthe show... Ratings ploy? Unresolved contracts? Long term maternity leave???
That episode was okay and did a lot for character development and emotional involvment of the viewer but that ending didn't shock me because as soon as I saw them on the plane I went "yup, they are going to crash". Maybe I watch too many drama shows or the episode of Crossing Jordan that did the exact same thing a while back clues ne in IDK.
Oh my gosh, Bailey was absolute perfection in this... I've missed this version of her. I enjoyed the episode overall - it made me feel like I was watching the old Grey's. But then HOLY CRAP. Shonda went there... I didn't expect her to crash the entire plane full of doctors!! Gah... next week's finale is going to be seriously intense.
That frustrated me, too... and he knew she'd been getting her other offers pulled, so she was in a pretty bad place... him talking to her "rationally" is a load of crap. She needed her mentor in that moment, and he let her down.
Re Arizona/Alex: *nods* Well they're not the only ones I'm invested in but they are certainly very high up my list. JCap and Justin's chemistry is so amazing! I mean that fight where she was yelling at him? That's why I love them...
I'm so happy for Alex... He totally deserves it. He might not be as tallented and skilled as Meredith and Christina but he is by far the better doctor from the lot. I also loved Richard sticking up for him and coatching him. And Arizona's outburst... broke my heart but I also loved it because you could tell she was heartbroken (for more reasons than just him sure.... but still the disappointment drawn on her face that he was leaving her). I'm sure when she calms down (and is she lives through the crash) she'll be able to tell him she's proud of him.
I really liked the Ben/Bailey subplot...twas cute! With a bittersweet ending. I wonder if he might transfer programs and be a surgical intern next season....
The threory I see flying about of April commiting suicide, sounds interesting and plausible... Or it might be a good chance for her to do great and prove herself in the trauma room when everyone starts arriving at the hospital, and then Owen might offer her job back at the end of the episode.
Wow..Shonda Rhimes did it again..really awesome penultimate episode! I'm so excited about Grey's like I wasn't in years. "Migration" felt like old good intern days
Well I don't think it's gonna be April, because the person who dies is a beloved one and kind of the soul of the hospital, clearly she's not any of that!!
There's one thing I don't understand. Meredith & Derek are on the plane...but where is Zola? I don't think they would leave her at home with a babysitter. And I didn't really get why they're on a plane. Where do they go?
That's was my exactly tought about Zola...Maybe she stayed with Callie and Sophia or with Baile...I don't know!!! And they were on that plane because they were going to assisted a surgery on a set of twins in another hospital....I guess just like that one they made before in this season!!!
I hope they kill April. Not because I don't like her, but because they destroyed her character in the last 3 episodes. She's a worthless religious drunken nut. She might as well be gone.
Idk what more they can do with April, all they've done with her character is constantly have her fail (caused a patient to die in Season 6, fail at Chief Residence, being the butt of the joke by the other doctors, and then fail miserably with the boards exam, by making a fool of herself and then getting fired, and have mental breakdowns.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

that preview just scared the living shit outta me
ReplyDeleteWas a great episode...but now...I'm starting to think that Arizona is the one who is going to die!!!
ReplyDeleteWow that ending!
ReplyDeleteI think my theory just went out the window...more in the am
It was a great episode. I can't wait for next week.

Good night everybody :)
Thank GOD April is safe! :D :D :D
ReplyDeleteI'm freaking out! What if April kills herself? what if she is the actual death and everyone survives the plane crash?
ReplyDeleteIf they did that I swear I'd be beyond pissed >:|
ReplyDeleteArizona wasn't on the plane was she? The last time i seen her she was yelling at alex and her and callie were not wearing the blue jackets the others getting on the plane were wearing

ReplyDeleteyeees! she was on the plane!! look at the promo for next week!!
ReplyDeletei AM so freaking worried D:
DITTO! why did she have to get on the plane! why!
ReplyDeleteand yeah i love their scenes together! Alex And Arizona are great! i want them together next season as well!
I Tivo Grey's so I only caught the end. Who was all on the plane? I saw Meredith, Derek, Christina, Arizona, and Mark. Was there anyone else?
ReplyDeleteLexie..
ReplyDeleteand people are starting to speculate that Webber was on the plane to , somehow... haha
I know Hunt has a lot on his plate right now, but I was incredibly pissed off at how he handled the April situation. ReplyDeleteYes! Cristina doing her April impression was hilarious. I like that Cristina was being surprisingly nice in her own way.
ReplyDeleteShe really brings out the best in him and I love there being a mentor/student relationship that didn't involve sex. Although maybe that's why they've had the Chief more involved in Alex's storylines these past few episodes so that he could take over when Arizona is killed.
ReplyDeleteI want to see the finale!!! What a cliffhanger and breathtaking promo!
ReplyDeleteOr Lexie. They're both trapped.
ReplyDeleteOr is she? She left the bar drunk. Maybe no one actually dies in the plane crash, but April is drunk and something happens to her that way. EEK!
ReplyDeleteThis is what I'm thinking too. It's either Lexie/Arizona who dies... OR... April tops herself/dies in a car accident of some sort.
ReplyDeleteSmart move. I prefer mentor arizona than mentor richard...... I just wonder what made shonda what to kill off someone too important forthe show...
ReplyDeleteRatings ploy?
Unresolved contracts?
Long term maternity leave???
WTH a plane crash? Did not expect that !! And I have no idea when I'll be able to watch the finale since I'll be on vacation.. AHHHHH.
ReplyDeletei´m starting to think that lexie is the one who dies, watch the promo slowly, it seems like mark is crying ...
ReplyDeleteyeah but, in the promo says that for one of them (on the plane crash) , its tricky, we can't really know!!!
ReplyDeleteyeah, she get in the plane, and alex stayed right?
ReplyDeleteThat would be totally sick. So it's totally possible.
ReplyDeleteThe plane crashed. The plane freaking crashed.
ReplyDeleteWhat.
OMG!! Can't wait till next week!!!!
ReplyDeleteI totally saw he plane crash coming, since the finale is called "Flight"
ReplyDeleteMaybe now that he isnt spending on keeping Karev and doesn't have that extra expence he'll hire her
ReplyDeleteReally hope they don't kill Lexie or Arizona
ReplyDeleteIt's always a rating ploy.
ReplyDeleteThat episode was okay and did a lot for character development and emotional involvment of the viewer but that ending didn't shock me because as soon as I saw them on the plane I went "yup, they are going to crash". ReplyDeletefor me the red one is gone
ReplyDeleteI loved it so much! I'd be fine with Owen or April dying. Why wasn't he on the plane? And awww at Alex. The moment with Cristina was so cute.
ReplyDeleteGah, I need next week's episode in my life.
Oh my gosh, Bailey was absolute perfection in this... I've missed this version of her. I enjoyed the episode overall - it made me feel like I was watching the old Grey's. But then HOLY CRAP. ReplyDeleteyes! he stayed!
ReplyDeleteCrazy freaking episode ending!! So scared for next week episode...
ReplyDeleteYes...Yes...after seeing and reading a lot out there, there's a huge possibility of Lexie be the one to die!!
ReplyDeleteWell I don't think it's gonna be April, because the person who dies is a beloved one and kind of the soul of the hospital, clearly she's not any of that!!
