Kate roped in with Justin sticks in my craw! I guess she has to do a quid pro quo after Justin went behind his boss for this plea agreement. Poor Ben he is going all out for Kate and he get stiffed.
I agree with you phnxgrl...this Justin-thing is making me sick. He doesn't deserve her and has been a jerk for some time now. Do we forget how he kept rallying for the divorce so they could move on?? Ben has been a class act (as well as being hilarious) in the last two episodes and is totally getting screwed over. And the fact that Kate now knows that he really likes her makes the way she is handling things so much worse. That hand-holding at the end of episode was ridiculous, (and pretty insensitive to Ben...) Come on... I continue to cheer for Ben. :)
Pretty good ep. Ordinarily I don't care much for the romantic triangulation of show characters especially when it's obviously the typical "good boy vs bad boy (who the girl can change)" stuff like this one blatantly is, but the difference for me is that the girl character is usually a stable good girl, and Kate is a mess with a heart of gold.. so it's a little different for me. It'll be interesting to see how this shakes out. And although I hope the show doesn't do it, I kind of though in a few of the past eps that the writers were not only forcing Kate/Ben to pair up (because they have similar temperaments), but that they were going to have Justin and Lauren develop an attraction to each other- which I hope they don't because that would seem a bit cheap a storyline to instantly cause new friction for all the characters. Good ep.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
it was really good but im so mad about kate leaving w/ justin!
ReplyDeleteI miss being able to like justin, i know he is a good guy but darn if this show hasnt made me root for ben a little.
