    I cancelled most of the new shows and renewed nearly all of the old ones, SPN included.

    I think both Carrie Diaries and Beauty & the Beast have shots at renewal honestly. With long running shows ending and shows like 90210 and Nikita more likely to be cancelled each year I think the new series could slide into a time slot fairly easily.

     Considering the renewal for Gossip Girl to allow it to wrap things up, I expect that 90210 and Supernatural will also get final seasons that are announced as final seasons. Since neither one got a "final season" announcement, I expect both to be renewed for next season at the least.

    I renewed Cult and Arrow.  It's possible, if it's well written that Beauty and the Beast might make it.  Not sure.  I renewed Hart of Dixie, Supernatural, VPD, 90210 (but I hope it doesn't), and Nikita.

    Arrow, Beauty, TCD, EOMD all renewed

    Cult cancelled

    TVD, SPN renewed

    90210 renewed for a final season

    HOD, Nikita cancelled

    I think its so hard to tell with CW they often keep shows which really should be cancelled, I say out of the new shows Arrow is a safe bet

    Renewed only Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries and Arrow. 

    Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries are the only two shows I watch. As for Arrow, I'm looking forward to it. I just hope that it doesn't disappoint like The Secret Circle.

    That's one of the reasons I renewed Supernatural. The CW likes to add the "final season" tag to its shows for advertising.

    I give 90210 ONE more season after this upcoming one due to the fact that The CW probably won't want to end two of its flagship shows (GG and 90210) in the same season. Therefore...

    RENEW: Supernatural, 90210, Vampire Diaries, Arrow, Cult, Beauty and the Beast
    CANCEL: Emily Owens M.D., The Carrie Diaries

    I hope they cancel everything except vd and spn, and that's not because I watch either show its cause there the only ones that barley pull in an audience. The cw sucks!!

    for the 7.65% who voted for TVD to be cancelled and for the 22.26% who voted for SPN to be cancelled are out of their minds. They are the highest rated shows on the CW, unless the producer wants to stop the series, the shows wont be cancelled, plain and simple.

    My opinions seem to pretty much line up with everyone else's so far.  I think Arrow stands the biggest chance of being a big hit, while Beauty and the Beast strikes me as another Secret Circle - something that will probably be big in the beginning but lose a lot of viewers over the season.  The doctor show just seems so disposable, and that title change is awful. 

    I think Cult is either going to be big, or flop miserably.  There is no in between for a show like that.  But I love Alona Tal, so I'm hoping it's good and it does well.

    For existing shows, obviously VD will be back.  Even if SPNs ratings tank on their new night I see them bringing it back for one final season.  Nikita will probably be a low rated bubble show again, but being one season away from syndication could be the thing that makes the difference.  90210 seems like it's on it's last leg.

    Supernatural, VD, 90210 and Nikita will be renewed.  The first three because even if ratings tank they will get the CW Memorial season.  Nikita because it will be one season away from syndication if it is not pulled early this year.  Arrow needs to be more successful than VD for the CW to stay alive so here's hoping that it gets renewed.  Same goes for Beauty and the Beast unless First Cut (or whatever they are calling it these days) takes the lead in that race.  One will be canceled.  Cult is intriguing with a highly meta premise.  Even the support of Mark Pedowitz itself will not save it when it tanks in the ratings.  Hart of Dixie is a toss up for me but I'm leaning towards canceled while Carrie Diaries is likely to flop.

    That would be the Leviathans, not SPN fans.  :-)  Seriously though, unless Supernatural gets lower than a 0.4 demo rating, it will be back next year.  The CW loves to give its aging shows a final year send off and SPN has the most dedicated fans of any show on that network.  No way it gets canceled for next year.  The big question is whether it goes to 10 seasons like Smallville did.

    I agree that Cult will be canceled.  High concept TV shows are not doing well on network TV and I doubt that will be different for the CW either.  However, I'm surprised you chose to renew all the other new shows.  I think its likely that 1-2 of them will be tossed.  I'm betting Beauty and EOMD fight for a spot and TCD is canceled outright, next year's Ringer.  As for Nikita, are you not buying the syndication bump theory?  It would be prime to go to 88 if they renew it.  I also agree that 90210 will get the official last season nod next year.

    If they only renew 3 shows, they would have to debut 7 new shows the following season.  I don't see the CW having the resources to do that.  They need at least 2 big hits next year so I see them pulling out all the stops for Arrow and Beauty and the Beast this fall.

    Renew: The Vampire Diaries, Arrow, 90210 (Final 13 episode Season), Supernatural (Final 22 episode Season) Hart of Dixie, Cult & The CW will have to decide to save ''The Beauty and The Beast'' Or Emily Owens M.D. If EOMD is saved then it would be because THE CW wants a medical day block. And if B&TB is renewed then it would be because the cw already has 1 medical show on its lineup.
    Cancelled: The Carrie Diaries, Emily Owens (Or Beauty and the beast), Nikita, America's Next Top Model (Not renewed for midseason, cult will take over its slot) And Gossip Girl (Ended)
    Reasons why Nikita would be cancelled: The producers initial idea for Nikita was to end the show after the third season. And a show has to have a minimum of 65 episodes for enter into syndication. Next year (season 3) Nikita it's going to have 66 :D
