  3. Oh My God!!!! This looks so amazing!!!

  4. Oh man, looks good. I notice they're playing up the Regina/Emma angle, which makes me believe that there is some crazy stuff going down with Gold.

  5.  OMG....will be an amazin finale...can't wait for next sunday....just can't.

  6. The Regina/Gold stuff is always entertaining. I think he and Regina will make a deal: Gold heals Henry, and Regina offers him Belle.

    ReplyDelete
  7. This looks amazingly epic.

The fights between Charming and Rumplestiltskin and Emma and Regina make it seem like it will be a pretty entertaining episode.

  8. This is going to be awesome. :D

  9. Gah, this looks amazingly epic... I can't wait!

    ReplyDelete
  10. I thought the same thing - they really kept him under wraps, and you KNOW he's got something planned... I can't wait to see what it is!

  11. Looks great, even though the Emma/Regina fight has the chance of being too cat-fighty, and not very climactic as we imagined.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Theres something Gold ha snot told everyone. Why would he give Regina the curse and lose his powers? No theres more to this from Gold's angle

    ReplyDelete
  13.  Now this looks awesome! This is what i've been waiting for!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Oh, there definitely is... and they kept his part of the promo really hush hush, so I can't wait to see exactly what he has up his sleeve.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I'm torn - I want to see the finale really badly but I don't want to have to wait for a whole long summer hiatus. It's been a good first season, and I'm sad it is coming to an end.

    ReplyDelete
  16. My thought was that he created a curse that only Regina could put in motion and he wanted her to put it in motion so he could go in the world where there is no magic so he could find his boy. I bet he didn't know that in that world he would be stuck in Storybrook and unable to find his son..

Emma descending some kind of elevator with a big sword in her hand.
Fight between Rumple and Charming. Over what?
Rumple - 'Magic is coming'. 'Bout damn time.
I can't wait for this. But I'm really not looking forward to the summer hiatus :( Won't even be able to buy the DVD til September *sigh*

    1. I can not wait! This season is going to have a fascinating ending. But I'm really worried about August.

  18. What did you expect? Emma and Regina are very important to the main arch whether anyone likes it or not.

    ReplyDelete
  19. i can only imagine that Emma will give Henry a true love  kiss by kissing him in the forehead. He'll wake up, Emma will believe everything and there's the end of our season D:

    ReplyDelete
  20. They focuse so much on Emma and Regina Antagonizing that I would not be surprised if it goes the different way and they both end up on the same side due to obviously caring for henry.

what will regina chose? the curse or her son? After she sacrificed her ring, she pretty much has nothing else. I would not be surprised if the twist of episode would be  that she pretty much allows Emma to break it to save him(hence the scene in hospital of both of them)

They both are just pawns in Gold's game after all. or is it Blue Fairy's game?

    ReplyDelete
  21. But he can leave. he got henry, after all.

I think there;s something else that will happen ionce curse breaks, something like a chain reaction, something that he wants and has set up with curse breaking as condition for that.

    ReplyDelete
  22. You're right I had totally forgotten about that !!!

    ReplyDelete
  23. This episode is going to be the best out of all of them, I think. I hope that somehow Emma starts to believe SOMETHING about the curse. It's the season finale, after all. This episode looks so great, and I can't wait!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. I can not wait that finale looks so cool!

    ReplyDelete
  25. OMG! HENRY! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! I NEED THIS EPISODE NOW!!!!! D:

    ReplyDelete
  26. Henry got the apple curse, and only true love can do that, so Emma truly loves Henry

    ReplyDelete
  27. Shall_be_lifted_Nevermore7 May 2012 at 08:56

Yeah, Gold's always got an elaborate plan :)

And a back-up plan. And a back-up plan for his back-up plan. And a completely different, seemingly irrelevant plan in case he wants to scrap the whole thing. And when all else fails.... snarky humor!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. The moment Emma says "I love you Henry" has made my eyes leak... How embarrassing!

Can't believe they are going to make us wait a week!

    ReplyDelete
  29. OMG!!! It's going to be AWESOME and then ONE looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong summer for the sequel season!!

Cried when Emma said that to Henry.

I think Gold needs the curse broken so he can leave storybrook to find his son out somewhere else in the world - Because it was clear in the last episode that he wants it broken - he made the curse to find his son, but all magic comes with a price and that price was the curse could get him to the right world, but prevent him from getting out of storybrooke

    ReplyDelete
  31. Somehow I'm more interested about everyone remembering again.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Emma's tear and her kiss shoud wake henry

    ReplyDelete
  33. Breaking the curse could send everyone including Emma and henry to Fairlytale land

    ReplyDelete
  34.  he is such a fun and great character! I hope he will have his son back and find some kind of redemption by the end of the serie.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Wow! This is going to be an epic finale!

Editors should stop using the Clint Mansell "requiem for a dream" soundtrack. It's a beautifull score but it's been way overused for movies trailers.

    ReplyDelete
  36. We don't know that he can leave. We know that he obtained Henry, but not how. Based on what we learned in last night's episode, I'm thinking that none of the residents of Storybrooke can interact with the outside world unless Regina allows them to do so, which she did in Gold's case so that he could find her a son. He wouldn't have had to leave the town to do so-- he could've contacted outside agencies and had someone bring Henry in. Of course that immediately raises questions about the legality of the adoption, which I'm sure will be brought into play if they continue the custody issue into next season.

    ReplyDelete
  37. OMG!!!! I HAVE CHILLS!!!!! CHILLS, I TELL YOU!!!!! I can not wait!!!

  38. alecia tennant7 May 2012 at 18:57

Me too! I know a lot of people don't seem to like Henry and Emma but for me, especially as a mom, I totally get them and I love them :)  Ok and I love all the characters! Best show ever IMO!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Has anyone considered the option that if curse is broken they may all be sent to Fairytale land? If so how will Emma and Henry cope in such a world? In addition would they become fairytale creatures as well if so who?

    ReplyDelete
  40. I really love that about his character...you can just tell that he has more cards than everyone else things he has!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Surprised, because with the exception of red, the characters you have listed are generally the most boring ones...

    ReplyDelete
  42. The smoke monster! That's the smoke monster at the end!!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Man, I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH... Even with Emma beeing so bad casted .-.

    ReplyDelete
  44. By the way, the kid who plays Henry is probably the best actor of the show... So well cast!

    ReplyDelete
  45. "Magic is coming."

So season two will be everyone still stuck in Storybrooke, with more residents regaining their original memories and with some getting their powers back?  Just guessing.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I doubt anyone gets any power as ours is a "world without magic" No I predict curse is broken and thsu storybrooke and all its residents are transported to Fairytale land. This will include both Emma and Henry who have no fairytale counterparts

    ReplyDelete
  47.  I thought of that option myself but I'm not sure how they'd produce the show with all of the needed extra time for CGI.

    ReplyDelete
  48. They may not need that much as how often do we see magic anyhow? Besides I suspect they will have a bigger budget for Season 2. they cannot drag out this curse much longer than Season 2 if that without losing viewers i suspect so the best reponse is ending of curse with everyone returning to Fairytale land which includes Emma and Henry. Remember Emma does have a "superpower" perhaps its because of her connection to fairytale land

    ReplyDelete
  49.  Magic isn't this show's main use of CGI.  It's the sets, the backgrounds, and the environments that primarily use the tech.  Except for the rural outdoor scenes, CGI is used in almost all of the FTL scenes.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I agree with this.

Rumple never said that curse breaking would transport everyone back,.

most likely they all will still be stuck in this world, just thanks to Emma, the world will be filling up with magic slowly, leading to all the magical problems(like Red's curse) returning too and everyone having to deal with that,.

    ReplyDelete
  51. And Emma is supposed to BRING magic to this world. :)

Emma Believes in magic = Magic comes into this world = curse starts to break.

    Logical, really. :)

    ReplyDelete
  52. The Catch here is... When Gold and Regina talked about the end of the curse, how he wanted that to happen, and the little catch that Emma can't get killed without break the curse, they NEVER mentioned anything about get back. In fact, when she thought that Emma was under control, Regina told Gold to cancel his trip. The other side of this is, if the curse is broken, the characters will be able of getting out from storybrooke, that's what exactly Gold wants, so he can find his son. Simple as that.
For me, the second season isn't about the fairytale land, is about BRINGING the magic to a world WITHOUT magic. Is making Story brooke a magical land, with no barries at all. And would be funny to see, how this would turn out to be.

    ReplyDelete
  53.  I get a big smile on my face thinking of everyone trapped in this little Maine town and reigniting all that FTL madness in the real world.  Emma's going to need more jail cells... and guns.

    ReplyDelete
  54. No I dont see that as magic is not part of our world (Storybrooke) and any attempt to bring magic ha snot faired well. If they bring magic to our world then I se all sorts of issues. No I thank Emma breaks curse (some point in Season 2) and all are transported to Fairytale land. It will then be Emma and Henry who are out of place and possibly with memory lost (just throwing that in their). The other option is that all the Fairytale people impacted by curse (we exclude August, Emma and Henry for now) are transported back to fairytale land. This might suggest that the three remaining must find a way to fairytale land to stop Regina and Gold from destroying everyone else

Isn't true love a sexual thing?

    ReplyDelete
  56. I'd agree with that if Regina didn't have his true love. I'm wondering when she's gonna pop the "hey Gold. I got something you want"? I can't wait to see the finale. I wonder who's gonna wake henry?

    ReplyDelete
  57. Emma's VERY PURPOSE is to bring the magic into our world.

SHE IS magic. The strongest kind there is Jefferson foreshadowed as much.

    ReplyDelete
  58.  Thank you for fianlly telling me what the music is and where from, I've been trying to find out for ages ;-P
    Just sayin'

    ReplyDelete
  59. Regina brought magic with her and it's possible that other characters have found a way to do so too (Rumple)

I don't think we know what Emma "bringing" magic means. We don't know if it's Emma brings them "back" to magic (as in takes them "home"--which beyond Alice in Wonderland, if we get into Oz, then we can be certain that going home will be thematic) or back to using magic "here".

IMO for the show to succeed, like all good hero stories, Emma needs to go on a journey of self discovery and I don't think Storybrooke is going to the trick.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Does the promo remind anyone of Ben Linus turning the Donkey wheel at the end of Season 4 (I think) that started the time jumps? (With the sky going all funny as MM and David look up).. And the smoke monster... So many references to Lost!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Is it me or Emma holding the book (at 20sec) shows her somehow 'absorb' something??? The going down the elevator with a sword, again - Ben Linus, lol

    ReplyDelete
  62. Last time Emma had sword it was Regina's dream so I am not puttingmuch into this

    ReplyDelete
  63. I had the same impression. It seems there is still magic on storybrooke, or maybe it's the book?

    ReplyDelete
  64. My pleasure. Clint Mansell is a one of my favorite composer :-)

    ReplyDelete
  65. SOOOOO excited!! cant wait to watch this.

  66. OMG!!! I can't wait to see this season finale

It's a great show.  Robert Carlyle and Lana Parrilla are brilliant actors!  At first I wasn't sure about a show with fairy tales but it's really well done and keeps you guessing.  I really hope Rumple and Belle find each other.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Irishmichelle8 May 2012 at 01:36

I read that Rumple made the curse because he wanted to follow his son into this world to find him.  Rumple/Carlyle is brilliant.  He was v funny in the Full Monty.  Love the accent!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oeTIkZNokE&feature=player_embedded Clips of Rumple from the show.

    ReplyDelete
  69. hmm, very interesting theory. but i don't think that the curse will be broken in the finale.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Actually I agree I think it will be broken in Season 2 not in finale

    ReplyDelete
  71.  yeah, you're probably right "/ but how is Henry going to wake up from this?

    ReplyDelete
  72. Firstttt Mr. Gold and Emma made a deal in the beginning episodes and up until now he has not told her what he wanted for the deal..there is SOO much more to come especially since we only saw Belle trapped by the queen in the real world only ONCE...They are going to throw alot more stuff at us because im sure they have plans for more than 2 seasons of this show...also i feel that this whole thing with Henry was meant to happen. Technically he is not a fairy tale character, he was born in the real world AND when the curse does get broken how can he go back to where he never came from??? When Catherine went missing at the end of one of the episodes Mr. Gold told Emma to use her magic....

The second she got REALLLLY pissed she appeared. Now that Henry is hurt and looks like he definitely died obviously is making Emma uncontrollably beyond pissed and now her magic is going to come out. Mr. Gold had to of known that she wouldn't believe because she is a tough cookie but apparently its her anger that lashes out her magic.

Mr. Gold definitely still has magic because he still knows everything that's going to happen like when Emma was running for sheriff and the whole thing with Catherine's kidnapping. Something is definitely up with him and he had a plan from the very very beginning when the queen came to him for help in the jail. But when i think about it, if he is so powerful and magical still, how come he doesnt know that Belle is being held by Regina?? or does he....

    ReplyDelete
  73. I bet that Gold banked on Regina trying the sleeping curse and Henry ending up hurt, as a way to "unleash" Emma.

As for magic. Regina's magic came from stuff she brought back from FTL...Guess from where majority of stuff in Gold's shop is from?

    ReplyDelete
  74. Its different kind of "bringing magic"

    to make it clear.

Imagine that this world had NO ELECTRICITY at all. Except from what is stored in batteries. Regina brought batteries, but Emma is someone who is about to invent and rediscover the concept of electricity in the world.

    ReplyDelete
  75. I agree the only magic in Storybrooke is likely now in Gold's shop. Now how well it works in a land without magic remains to be seen, example is when Regina tried to use magic on hat! If Gold/Rumple can get Emma to end curse his powers might regain full force

    ReplyDelete
  76. I'm pretty sure Emma will kiss Henry (Forehead) and wake him up and it will parallel the kiss between snow and prince :)  Rumple's agenda will be quite riveting though once he finds out Belle is alive and well---- and the final battle will begin Mwahahahaha

    ReplyDelete
  77. I understand your point (and now we can see parallels to "Revolution") I don't think you understand mine.

I am just saying we don't know "what" her magic is specifically intended for...we don't know what it means to break the curse...what kind of effects it will have...If it's only a first step in a bigger process...

That's why I am speculating that we don't know what Emma "bringing" magic means...does she give the other characters memories and give magic back to them so they can try to find a way home...or will they just remember and live in Storybrooke forever, or will they all immediatly go back "home"??

    ReplyDelete
  78. Yes Rumple will be very pissed and we may see an even more epic battle than Emma/Regina! The fight between Rumple/Regina will be earth shattering

    ReplyDelete
  79. Emma's "magic" we have already seen. Remember when she kissed the Sherriff? He recalled his fairytale life! We also know sh eis one to end the curse. the fallout to that would be storybrooke would end as it was created by the curse. The question remains if curse ends and the fairytale creatures return to fairytale land what happens to Henry who was not born or concieved in fairytale land?

    ReplyDelete
  80. I'm not sure the stuff is actually magic, seems more like echoes of magic, like the people are shadows or echoes of who they were in FTL.

And we still don't know who Henry's father is, or where Rumple's son is (linked? yes, please!!)

Also, I have a four year old daughter who loves all things Disney, and you just know they're gonna milk that input for all its worth, there's heaps more characters to throw into the mix.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I am looking forward to see some development in Regina's character... she and Gold are the most interesting characters, and I hope that the writers will make Regina more dimensional now that someone she cares about is in danger. I know she is the Evil Queen and that, but she was kind hearted a long time ago so I hope we can see some of that mixed with her evilness, loneliness... etc.

I wouldn't like Regina to be good (boring!), but as Gold, I would want to see contradiction in her or unexpected deeds of her part (So she wouldn't be so predictable)

    ReplyDelete
  82. Should be epic!!can't wait!!!

    ReplyDelete
  83. I suspect henry's Father willplay a pivotal role in Season 2 or further

    ReplyDelete
  84. I am not saying she doesn't have "any", but that didn't break the curse. Nor do we know what happens..It just made him remember. "Magic" is a vague description of technology or laws of physics.

We have differences between super heroes and their powers including New Powers they can eventually get, because there are differences. How boring would be if no one was different, if there weren't different ways to "be" super...there would be no point in telling any story ever.

Everything the curse and beyond might rely on series of things Emma has to do, and not just any one thing (otherwise Once could end this season)

    ReplyDelete
  85. Maybe the book doubles as a spell book???

    ReplyDelete
  86. Emma has magic. we have already seen it in action. At least two or three times.

    - Her accepting the key to the inn room started the clock.
    - Her accepting the sheriff badge caused the cave-in to the snow white's coffin.
    - Her hat obviously worked once.
    - her kiss with graham brought his memories back.
    - then there's her ":lie detector" power.

It just works when she believes it does, when she believes in herself.

And yes, I agree, "curse breaking" does not equate its end. Rumple wants tit to be broken. I doubt it will just send everyone back. rumple did not promise that, he did bot promise anything except curse breaking.

The fact remains, however - for henry to be saved, magic must be there. Regina no longer has any. The only magic to happen would be if emma creates it.

which i would guess start to return magic to those characters as well as everything gold wants the curse broken for.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Just because savior has to break the curse, it does not mean that she is not destined for something else AFTER that :)

She is the "strongest form of magic" but no one is saying that she will start at her strongest. But her strength is not tied to the curse breaking.

I am convinced that curse breaking is tied into two things:
    1) emma believing in the existence of curse and believing in herself and in magic.
    2) regina giving up the curse in favor of henry.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Yes its pretty much given, IMO that henry's father is Bae.

he is pretty much "Charles widmore" of this show and I would not be surprised on if he did NOT turn out a good man and on if they had to keep him out of storybrooke.

    ReplyDelete
  89. I disagree. Her emotional strength in believing is required to to use magic and break the curse (other wise "her love" for Graham wouldn't have helped him remember)...and there for her magic and how it's used may rely on how she feels.

This may be why Gold isn't worried about Regina, because he knows MUCH more than she does about how this whole thing may continue to play out.

But the curse itself may have stages, or be the set up for something we perceive as worse than the curse, ... such as phase 1 "memory", phase 2 "getting something to revive Henry" phase 3 "helping everyone go home", ECT... while the whole time she finds herself.

    ReplyDelete
  90. yes, but feeling often comes from experiencing...To know one's self is also to understand others...Emma has yet to look outward in order to reflect on her own self. That is why a journey elsewhere is needed to continue to build on that.

all I'm saying is this a subplot and what things mean in season one, usually mean something else by the time we get to the end of the series, because nothing is ever simple.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Interesting so Emma breaks curse but everyone is still stuck in Storybrooke

    ReplyDelete
  92. She has proof, she just does not want to believe in it because that would make her accept responsibility, which she, as shown by 1x20 thinks is NOT able to bear.

The moment she starts to believe that yes she can, she will stop denying the curse's existence.

Gold has been actively working on breaking it and he made sure to bring Henry to regina. Which makes me think that her attachment to Henry IS crucial to breakimng the curse too.

    ReplyDelete
  93. and I don't disagreewith Henry being the key, just that breakingthe curse may go beyond Emma believing, there may need to be a "degree"of how deeply she needs to believe, or an accumilation of belief.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Nope lots of references to LOST and FRINGE all around! (:

    ReplyDelete
  95. Go Emma! Going to an epic season finale!

    ReplyDelete
  96. WTF? Henry O.O

    ReplyDelete
  97. I disagree. Her emotional strength in believing is required to to use magic and break the curse (other wise "her love" for Graham wouldn't have helped him remember)...and there for her magic and how it's used may rely on how she feels.

It might not just be as easy as her believing, but needing proof to believe.

I am not saying that you can't be right and she breaks the curse in the finale...I am just saying that bringing Magic may entail more than breaking the curse and/or we may not know the whole truth about the nature of breaking the curse in conjunction of "how" her magic needs to be used or "activated"

    ReplyDelete
  98. Didn't Snow say that Regina poisoned an apple because she thought Snow was prettier than her? Or something like that. Clearly that wasn't the case. Contuinity error or am I missing something?
