Yeah what is that. I know Lana is a beautiful lady and all that but she has looked extra stunning in the last few episodes. Also there is something about seeing Regina in white that does things to me.
It's cause her hair's getting longer and they're giving it more body instead of pinning it back. But that's just my opinion. LP always looks amazing *crush*
Holly smokes, how am I supposed to get any sleep till I see the entire episode?! :( It's just mean to put the most exciting clips in the sneak peaks. Mean, I tell you!
I just hope they didn't put ALL the best clips in these sneak peeks like they did with 'The Stranger'. The episode was a bit of a let down because the sneak peeks spoiled the whole thing. I mean I know they're spoilers, but usually they're just enough to excite the fans and nothing more, still plenty of excitement left in the episode. They went overboard last week. This week looks pretty promising, though. I'm expecting plenty of interesting reveals :)
I guess they thought the most exciting part of "The Stranger" was going to be the Pinnocchio story. Well, I didn't find that particularly interesting. Maybe because I don't like the character enough to be impressed and I already knew August=Pinnocchio. :D
It's so good to see her back in badass/scheming mode. :D Last week's episode was so much heartbreak, and as much as I love the vulnerable Regina, I'd love to see her kick some butt again.
Same here, I already knew so it wasn't that interesting. Plus I'm really not a fan of the actor who plays August. He's the only actor on the show that I genuinely dislike, regardless of what his character is doing.
I love that that Mayor Regina is really becoming the EQ again. She's becoming less dry (in a good way), cold, calculated and more expressive, sly, and...well vicious, lol. I love both 'versions' of Regina, but I like seeing her badass EQ personality coming out. The differences between them have always been subtle but definitely deliberate, so I love that this shift is so subtle, too. Wish I could ask LP if this was her intent or if it's coming more from the writers (I always love hearing about the creative process and where the ideas actually come from. Loved watching that video of her analyzing the EQ's hatred of Snow White). Can't wait to see more :D
I love that Jefferson is bitter. And of course he has reason to be but it's interesting when you watch the episode back and realize that she was taking a page from Mr Gold's book in that episode. Jefferson's terms were that his daughter want for nothing. And she hasn't, Regina never promised he would be with her and he didn't put that proviso in. Just like all Gold's deals having a secret twist where someone wasn't specific enough (Regina) or didn't think what the consequences would be (Ella, Jiminy).
I think it's a fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me thing - I'm pretty sure Jefferson's going to be thinking smart after what Regina's done to him.
Hmm, really good point. Never noticed that before. Even funnier after 'The Return', with Regina saying 'intent is everything'. I know she's evil, but she doesn't have to be such a hypocrite :P
Lana Parrilla is amazing. She can take a simple line like the one about Regina still having a little magic and turn it into something that completely steals the scene. Welcome back, Jefferson.
I agree I was pretty disappointed with last weeks episode. They pretty much put the whole David/Regina storyline in the sneak peak so there was no suprise at all. This episode though is bound to have more good stuff than what is seen here. We still have EQ/Snow scene which is bound to be a highlight of the episode. We still have to find out what happens to Henry. Obviously with everything going on we will probably get a pretty good Emma/Regina scene etc, Charming getting rescued. No I think this episode will be alot better. And I don't think we will be disappointed esp us Evil Regals.
I know and agree. Then again I think Lana Parrilla pretty much steals every scene she is in. Except maybe when she is in scenes with Robert Carlyle then I really don't know who is stealing it. But she is awesome. Absolutely outstanding. And you know it will really be a damn shame if she doesn't get some kinda recognition for her work when awards season rolls round. Cos she is definitely, without a doubt the strongest actress on this show. I love Ginnifer and Jennifer, I really do but Lana just blows them out of the water. I hope she is around for a long time. Cos at the moment she makes this show for me.
Yippee! Jefferson is back! I guess she wants him to bring some of her poisoned apples back from FLT. And she's got some magic! Interesting Regina saying that if she dies he will never get back what he wants... Does that mean she cannot be killed lest all will die? Oh, Emma, please don't chop her head off then! Maybe Jefferson will stop her just in time...
It would make sense. She's not the one who created after all. She "only" cast it. The person who created it has a lot more power and I bet a lot more influence on how the curse played out.
I like him well enough, but I don't understand why they made him a main character. He's not nearly as interesting as Rumple/Gold, Snow/MM, Regina and the others. It would have made more sense to make Ruby a main character to me, but maybe they didn't want another woman as regular?
I never felt extremly sorry for Jefferson. He has reasons to pissed after she left him in Wonderland, but it was established that he and Regina know each other very well. He knew what he was getting into by making a deal with her. He wasn't even as desperate as most of the poor souls Rumple deals with, he was just wanted more material goods for his daughter. I like him though and I want to know more about his history with Regina.
I want to know more about his history with Regina as well. They had a really interesting chemistry. And he was so easily convinced. Hag!Regina just wouldn't give him a discount on a toy, which isn't exactly unreasonable or unnecessarily cruel. It wasn't even food or something necessary! And he was willing to leave his daughter to go to a place he hated that he knew was horribly dangerous just for material things.
Which doesn't make Regina's decision to leave him less cruel, but it makes sense from her messed up mind point (at least to me). Where choosing material things over your own children, or choosing to go after material things in 'the best interest' of a child that doesn't really need or want them, ties directly into Regina's mommy issues with her whole life being screwed up by her mother's desire for wealth and power.
I love LP (obviously, lol) but I'm pretty biased, lol. I actually think Ginnifer and Jennifer are equally good actors, I think their characters are just a little too one-dimensional when compared to Regina/EQ (especially Emma, although she's getting better). It's unfortunate because I would love to see all three women really shine. As for the scene with her and Jefferson, I think the two of them are pretty fantastic together. And Lana and Robert? Ha, no one needs to steal the scene, we'll gladly hand it over to both of them, they set their scenes on fire!
Yeah, I'm really curious about that death comment, too. Knowing the writers, though, I bet we won't get any insight into that comment in this episode. 1 answer, 20 more questions, right? lol. Maybe in the finale... I doubt Emma will actually cut off her head.
The thing is. He KNOWS Regina screws people over in her deals. She already played the daughter angle.
By everything its quite obvious for him that if he choses either of two options, Regina would end up causing him and his family hurt.
The only way see him going is doing the third option, in that he accepts her proposal but does not play exactly fair and manages to somehow get more favorable outcome for himself.
Everyone who has dealt with Regina before knows what they're getting into. His level of compliance depends on how tightly she can back him into a corner again.

Wonder where Jefferson's being hiding. And looks like Regina's getting desperate if she's willing to use what remains of her magic.
ReplyDeleteI really thought the hat Emma made worked - guess not :(
ReplyDeleteIt could have but he wouldn't stay away with his daughter still here.
ReplyDeleteYay, Jefferson! <3 Where was he, if the hat didn't work?
ReplyDeleteJefferson - yay it's great to see him back. What is he gonna use the hat for though. God this episode looks epic.
ReplyDeleteI love how he dumps the Queen of Hearts card in the drink. He knows how to be subtle ^^
ReplyDeleteShe is looking prettier and prettier.
ReplyDeleteRegina has magic left. Maybe when he fell she captured him somehow, using some of her remaining powers?
ReplyDelete"What is he gonna use the hat for though"
ReplyDeleteMaybe he's going to go fetch one of Regina's poison apples.
Yeah what is that. I know Lana is a beautiful lady and all that but she has looked extra stunning in the last few episodes. Also there is something about seeing Regina in white that does things to me.
ReplyDeleteNice to see that Jefferson doesn't drink beverages offered by evil characters.
ReplyDeleteHmm
Can't wait. Also I wonder what Regina's comment about her death meant. I'm guessing her death wouldn't break the curse.
ReplyDeleteYay Jefferson! Wonder if he's lying... he seems to distrust Regina for sure. Which makes sense.
ReplyDeleteI really hope he kills her
ReplyDeleteDon't trust her,Jefferson!!!BTW,welcome back!!!:))))
ReplyDeleteIt's cause her hair's getting longer and they're giving it more body instead of pinning it back. But that's just my opinion. LP always looks amazing *crush*
ReplyDeleteToo bad we can't always say the same about Emma -.-
ReplyDeleteHolly smokes, how am I supposed to get any sleep till I see the entire episode?! :(
ReplyDeleteIt's just mean to put the most exciting clips in the sneak peaks. Mean, I tell you!
Comments like this make me want to agree and then watch people suffer as the show dies :D
ReplyDeleteDon't fall for it Jefferson! Don't!!!!

ReplyDeleteThe waiting is the worst!

ReplyDeleteI love the Hatter guy, wonder what the queen is up too now?
ReplyDeleteAnd somehow screw her over by foiling her plans, I bet.
ReplyDeleteWell, as someone who drugs things himself you'd hope he'd know the lesson Emma doesn't.
ReplyDeleteI love that Jefferson is bitter. ReplyDeleteThat's a shame, I like him.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe Jefferson's a person to be fooled twice.
ReplyDeleteInteresting point with the deal.
ReplyDeleteSo glad Jefferson's back! Looks like the two worlds will finally collide in some way?
ReplyDeleteHmm, really good point. Never noticed that before. Even funnier after 'The Return', with Regina saying 'intent is everything'. I know she's evil, but she doesn't have to be such a hypocrite :P

ReplyDeleteOh right thanks. Oh God why do I have a feeling this is not gonna end well. For anyone"""
ReplyDeleteYeah I definitely think the longer hair suits her. And your right Lana always looks amazing. She is so my girl crush right now.
ReplyDeleteyeah cos killing one of the most popular characters off in the first season is a really great idea. We can all watch the show die along with her.
ReplyDeleteI agree I was pretty disappointed with last weeks episode. They pretty much put the whole David/Regina storyline in the sneak peak so there was no suprise at all. Yeah, but it's not just that - she says if she dies, he would never get back to his daughter. I just can't wait for this ep.
