  1. Holy crap! I really can't wait!!!!

  2. Does it look to anyone else that Jefferson may be tossing Regina the poison apple through the hat?

    ReplyDelete
  3. I didn't see anything new. Anyone else?

And what is with Queen Regina's eye make up before she poisons Snow? Why did she think that was a good idea?

    ReplyDelete
  4. Jefferson!!!
    And oh, poor Henry!

    ReplyDelete
  5. The Mad Hatter is back, I think that's new (and huge) :)

    ReplyDelete
  6. Yeah, hello!

And what's that Henry's holding? An apple turnover?

    ReplyDelete
  7. AH! An interesting possibility that hadn't occurred to me. After all, she shouldn't be able to make them here, should she? Perhaps when Jefferson "died", he merely returned to FTL somehow.

Jefferson must be one of the "realm-jumpers" Rumple mentioned in "The Return".

  8. Yyyeah, that did occur to me as well.

    ReplyDelete
  9. ummm, I think it was clear that the hat Emma made worked and he went through that.
I didn't think for a second that he died.

  10. Any ideas on what's up with that piece of stone with a cross and a heart on it that can be seen when Snow collapses after she took a bite from the apple? I used to think it was a another hint towards Cora = Queen of Hearts because it seems Regina takes Snow back to where it all began. Not only because she addresses their past and the secret Snow didn't keep, but also because the scenery looks very similar to what we've seen in episode 1.18. But the cross immediately made me think of a headstone. Who would be burried at such a random looking place though?

oh my god whats gonna happen to Henry????????????????????????

  12. I love seeing Sebastian Stan back! This looks great.

  13. I think the stone thing is where Daniel is buried, just a guess but we'll see!

  14. Yeah, she doesn't have any magic here so maybe..  And in the shot it looks like the 'hat' camera angle with the circle around the screen and her catching the apple...

    ReplyDelete
  15. When Regina said "Taste my forbidden fruit" I laughed so hard!!!

    ReplyDelete
  16. "what would it take to make Emma believe?", and another possibility is the threat to, or to actually hurt Henry...If Henry would be in a dire situation, close to death or even dead, then Emma may "wish" and believe in anything that could be able to save him...

Although I still hope that Alice has to go down the rabbit hole at some point, I could see the writers also reseting Emma to 8:15 on her birthday in order to have the opportunity to make different choices!
("WE HAVE TO GO BACK!!!!!" :p )
This promo def hits the nerve on Henry getting hurt, and/or 'passing" out...
    And YAY for more Jefferson!!!!!!!!!

  17. Oooh this looks good. I reckon Henry is about to get caught in the crossfire when Regina is trying to get rid of Emma. This looks epic. Can't wait to see those Snow/Evil Queen scenes. That setting looks suspiciously like where they first met. Hmm interesting. Either way looks really good.

    ReplyDelete
  18. The fact that didn't unveil the Queen of Hearts is also suspicious...and because she went to retrieve her father from there, it almost seems like their is war going on between Regina and the Queen of Hearts...

Just proves what I've been saying all along: brilliant actress. Cause I sure as hell couldn't say that with a straight face :P I can practically hear the collective 'squee' of the evil regals out there, lmao

    ReplyDelete
  20.  I thought it looked like a pizza slice...maybe I need new contacts ;)

    ReplyDelete
  21.  Somebody had the theory the Queen of Hearts might be Regina's Mom. I'm not so sure about that, but definitely the Queen of Hearts was very angry when Regina's name was mentioned. Seems like a full-fledged feud.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I so cannot wait for this!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I could see that playing out too!! Certainly a good back story for Cora... Cora def seems out of control and killed Daniel rather quickly, but I kind of wonder if Regina "becomes" Cora, or steals her magic...???

But I like the idea of the Blue Fairy too, simply because of the extreme opposites her personalities would project.

  24. I know that Jefferson is supposed to come back but Jefferson giving Regina a poison apple doesn't make any damn sense.  He HATES Regina and if Jefferson made it back to Neverland he's outside of her reach and her influence.  How would Regina even know where Jefferson was anyway?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yeah she is brillant. How the hell did she keep serious. I am sure that one took more than a few attempts to film. Curious to know how the Henry part is gonna play out. I am sure whatever Regina is up to in trying to get rid of Emma that Henry is gonna get caught in the crossfire. Either way episode looks amazing. Plenty of Lana/Regina/Evil Queen I would imagine. Can't wait. These last two eps are gonna be excellent.

  26. I think the problem lies in that we don't know enough about The Queen of Hearts and the mechanics of Wonderland (what wonderland is to fairytale land/ what kind of relationships exist between them) to know the reasons why Jefferson does what he does...but given that Lewis Carol's tale deals with "war" and seeing how Regina went to retrieve her father, it almost seems like The Mad Hatter is being used as a "pawn" in this "game".

    ReplyDelete
  27. I don't think Jefferson is in Wonderland...well I don't know where he went, but he wasn't in Wonderland when the curse was enacted. At the beginning they discussed the curse affecting the enchanted forest, Wonderland was a different world, that's why Regina needed Jefferson to get her there. I assumed that Wonderland wasn't included in Storybrook.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I have a strong feeling that the blue fairy isn't queen of hearts.

I can *see* the possibility of it being Regina's mother, but I also don't think that's the case.

My main theory as to why they didn't show the face is because they didn't want to have to cast a particular individual for the role right then and there.

I think the writers, very similiar to Lost, have a plan for what ideas they might want to do in different seasons to change things up.  I think at one point a season will begin or end with the characters returning to Fairytale World (I can't imagine them staying in the real world throughout the whole series, they very much are following a formula similiar to lost with the flashbacks, killing off of popular characters to create the feeling that nobody is safe, and the overall number of mysteries and small clues they give you... the main difference that I can see is that I think they are planning far in advance in terms of what they invision long term [unlike with Lost], 100% everything right now appears to be carefully and cunningly planned to make the strongly flow from start of the series until it ends).

I also strongly think they might want to make a whole season at one point about Alice in Wonderland (perhaps a war of some sort).  As there are numerous characters in Alive in Wonderland that could be used.  (I imagine some sort of war between them, and a few alice characters get flashbacks, and some of our old characters get flashbacks... similiar to how the Others were introduced into lost and got their own flashbacks).

So back to my point, I think they didn't want to make a specific decision on who the queen would be yet if they didn't want to make her a reoccuring character until later.  For example, if they thought "Oh if we get to Season 5 let's do a Wonderland War", if they choose an actress so early in  a forseason 1, it might be difficult to 100% guarantee that she'll be available to commit four/five years later when they shoot for season 5.

    ReplyDelete
  29.  None of that negates the possibility that it was where Jefferson was sent if he did in fact fall into the hat.  Why would Jefferson force Emma to make the hat if he didn't have good reason to believe he could get back there?  (besides the fact that he's the "mad hatter" of course)

    ReplyDelete
  30.  "The Mad Hatter is being used as a "pawn" in this "game"...The Red Queen
may have sent Jefferson back with this apple to set these things in
    motion for a reason."

Something like that would further my suspicion that the Queen of Hearts is Regina's mother.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I don't know...I kind of suspect, especially if Cora or the Blue Fairy relate to Wonderland as either or The Queen of Hearts and/or the Red Queen, that there's a good chance for more black story to include Wonderland next season, because there could be a special axiom between the two parallel universe....a war, like you said, let alone if Emma needs to go down the rabbit hole. --But the argument about the blue fairy lies in the idea that she is sort of the one to push all of these people to make hard decisions, whether good or bad there is def something cold about her and I have to wonder if she wanted the curse...But again having Cora be TQOH would further Regina's story, because it's sort of interesting that none of the Wonderland characters are in Storybrooke, as Jefferson seemed to live on Regina's/Snow's reality....

At the same time you make good point about finding an actress and also the idea of " a RED hearing"... So I agree that anything could go, but I find the idea of using TQOH and the Red Queen, with a Blue fairy an interesting twist on such a tale.

  32. Jefferson totally could have fallen back into the waystation of doors when he went out the window. Then it would have been a choice for him to go to Wonderland. My only point was, Wonderland isn't Jefferson's home--he was captive there. Home for him was FTL, which was presumable where he was trying to return. Unless his point with having Emma make the hat was so that he could go somewhere else and get help?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Probably Cora comes from 'cor' meaning heart from the Latin.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Oh, that never occurred to me but it could make sense.

    ReplyDelete
  35.  I hope he wasn't trying to return to FTL.  As has been said on the show, "one world was sacrificed for another" which probably means FTL was wiped out.  There's nothing left.

    ReplyDelete
  36. That's possible. Dunno where he went or if he had that much control over it. Looks like they'll tell us!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Henry wouldn't eat the apple from Regina. He knows she's the Evil Queen, after all.

    ReplyDelete
  38. No matter where he went or ended up, he won't stay gone long as long as his daughter is still here.

Why do people claim there's no magic in the "real world" of this show? Implanted memories on people, timeless town until Emma's arrival, Regina squeezing a heart to kill a dude, etc. There is magic in Storybrooke, at least.

    ReplyDelete
  40.  The curse informed Storybrooke, but none of the characters have magic or can seek it out for their own purposes.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I think it's just not distinguishing the world before the curse and the world with Emma breaking the curse. Our world didn't used to have magic. Now it does. Emma believing brings the magic (I think).

    ReplyDelete
  42. Oh, that's a good guess. Man, I can't wait to have adult Snow and Regina talk about Daniel, Cora and what happened back then. Gonna be emotional!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Jefferson claimed Emma brought magic to Storybrooke. But I don't really believe that. There must have been SOME magic available to at least Rumple/Gold and Regina before. Maybe it was tied to the curse and it wasn't available to the "good" characters. But Storybrooke wasn't a "land without magic" before Emma arrived, I think.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I know right?!  She's amazing, anyone else & it would've been embarrasing

    ReplyDelete
  45. /the thing is, the Mad Hatter was affeccted by the curse, he knowing the history and not beeing able of reach out his daughter WAS his curse. But, he WAS in Wonderland, by the time the curse arrived, that said, the wonderlans was affected by the curse. And if the Queen of Hearts was such an enemie from Regina, she must have a special curse in this world.

    ReplyDelete
  46. They made this point to say that Storybrooke basically was in a state of animated suspension and not available to the rest of the world (like Brigadoon), until Emma turned 28, which is when the series starts...But that in itself is also "magic"...but it begs the question of Henry and his own memories, because we get into how can he grow up with Regina in Storybrooke, if Storybrook basically didn't exist? -It comes down to memory changes, which again would relate to Magic...so I agree that Blue Fairy either just didn't know or lied about the state of our reality, or rather the world might have been magicless until the curse was set into motion...

  47. I also think that the Queen of Hearts is Regina's mother.

BTW, Regina is also a sort of Queen of Hearts, since she is a Queen and has several hearts of several people (Graham for instance). That could be something she learned from her mother and that could be the reason why her mother would be called Queen of Hearts (the original one). It would also justify why was Henry (Regina's father) in Wonderland.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I don't think we know that he was in Wonderland. Why would the curse have affected other realms? But if he was in Wonderland, he wouldn't have gotten his happy ending, so maybe that was why he knew the in's and out's of the situation. But we've not seen that he was in Wonderland, and I have a hard time believing that Regina had the power to curse a place that she didn't even have the power to get to herself.

    ReplyDelete
  49.  I think her mother is where she got the whole heart-stealing idea in the first place.  Remember, Regina had to go to Wonderland and steal her father's heart from a room that looked an awful lot like the one she had in Fairytale Land.

I really hope we get exactly that, because it's about friggin' time they give us some decent scenes with these two. Best scene of the whole season was Regina essentially confessing to MM in the jail cell. We need more Snow/EQ!

  51. OUaTEvil_Regal2 May 2012 at 20:54

He might if he thought it would make Emma believe. He knows they're not actually deadly, since the curse can be broken, so he'd be alright eventually. The other possibility is he didn't know what he was eating. He was holding what looked like a pastry, not an actual apple, so he might not realize it had apples in it, or that it was from Regina.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Ha. Does Henry have a true love waiting in the wings that I missed?

    ReplyDelete
  53. I agree on the heart box room similarity, but question: I thought her dad was just miniaturized because eating something from Wonderland made him big. Did Regina feed a heart?

    ReplyDelete
  54.  I don't think romantic love is the only variety that qualifies as true.  The love between a mother and her child would probably do just as well.

    ReplyDelete
  55.  Heh.  You'll have to take that up with the OUAT writers.  I have a few questions for them myself.

  56. OUaTEvil_Regal2 May 2012 at 21:47

Agree with Bruce_F. My ideal scene: Regina is heartbroken over what she's done to Henry (accidentally, her intent being to poison Emma). She kisses him on the forehead before confessing to Emma that the whole fairy tale thing IS real, and that her believing can bring Henry back to life. Desperate to save him, Emma finally lets herself believe. Magic is restored, Regina disappears (not permanently of course :P) in a cloud of smoke, shocking Emma, and Henry wakes up. But of course this is just wishful thinking, lol. But yeah, I do think a kiss from his mom (more likely Emma) will wake him up late on.

The Blue fairy was not incorrect at all. Bael was not sent to storybrooke. He was sent outside of it in 'our' world where there is no magic. The curse was brought on later. Bringing magic to a world where there wasn't any. IMO

    ReplyDelete
  58. Thanks for that! (:

    ReplyDelete
  59. I don't know about this just being wishful thinking...I think this could actually happen! After all, anything is possible when you believe in magic, right?

    ReplyDelete
  60. I agree, and I too noticed that the hat worked. I through I was only one who noticed that. Either Emma has more magic in her then everyone throught or the ground holds more magic then usual. Did anyone noticed that when the Queen Regina sweezed the heart of the Hunter, she was underground under her father's coffin when she did that? In the second episode, I noticed that the apple tree Emma cutted down was a little apple tree, and there was a tombstone with her father's name on it too.

  61. I just love Spoilertv, and the witty people who add comments to it. So many people with great insight for the show, Once Upon a Time. I am looking fwd to seeing Graham again, and also in "A Land without Magic" (episode 22), Belle looks great in her ball gown and Mr. Gold looks good in his fancy suit. I can't wait to see everyone in their ball room clothes.
