Okay, what the fuck did I just watch. Whoever okay'd this show to go into production and actually get picked up for the network to air? Has got to be on drugs. And some good ones, too. Because...what.
If I want weird neighbours in the suburbs I will just rewatch the Tom Hanks 'Burbs movie! Way funnier
Also the aliens omfg SO BAD, this has to be a joke? Like someone was stoned out of their mind and somehow got this made and everyone was like lets troll the viewers and put it on air.
i saw some guy driving a car with actually a CAVEMEN bumber sticker on it and i was like some guy actually liked that show and put a sticker on his car? lol
That actually makes the most sense.... because NO ONE could look at that trailer & think "yeah, putting this out will get people interested". They clearly felt obligated to put SOMETHING out & said "hey, lets use the scenes we cut"..... I hope.
Hahaha, that's funny, no where's the REAL trailer?...... Oh I see.... Wow, it's like Stepford Wives meets My Parents Are Aliens (90s UK Kids TV show). How truly dreadful.
Okay, I agree with you guys on this one. This is a really bad trailer. Doesn't indicate much hope for the show. The new trailer is much better imo. I thought that other one was funny.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Ok definitely not going to watch this...
ReplyDeleteAnother suburb comedy? I guess ABC just wanted Wednesday nights family friendly. That's the only reason they gave Neighbors the post-MF slot.
ReplyDeleteIs that Jami Gertz?
ReplyDeleteAnd this one looks stupid, tbh. Will probably be cancelled pretty quickly.
The only reasonable explanation for this is that an ABC executive lost a bet or was blackmailed by someone.
ReplyDeletewhat kind of funny was that exactly?
ReplyDeletethis is by far the worst trailer ive seen this season..
ReplyDeleteProbably the same exec that OK'ed Cavemen :)
ReplyDeleteTerrible. Do ABC have a rule that they have to put out the worst comedy every season.
ReplyDeleteOh! Oh! Oh!
ReplyDeleteWe have the new pole position set for the race to early cancellation!
They're holding all the good material back for the season. Never show what you've got in your hand!

ReplyDeleteI would of liked this better if it was just crazy suburb neighbors but now finding out that it's really aliens.. it looks kind of bad.

I'm guessing Jamie Gertz must have some home made sex videos of her with a powerful ABC
ReplyDeleteexecutive....
No other way I see this getting the green light. Even that does not answer why Jamie Gertz would want to be in this though I guess......

ReplyDeleteThat was painful to watch... and I usualyl love goofy comedies with aliens pretending to be human... and spoirts references.
ReplyDeleteHow did this get the post Modern Family slot?
ReplyDeleteWhy put this after modern family? they're gonna waste all the lead in in this terrible show!!
ReplyDeleteLooks so horrible that it might get an audience. lol Premise likely would've worked better if the show was animated. But yes, this is likely doomed.

ReplyDeletehahahaha... it's one of those shows that soo bad it's good... :D :D cancelled in 2 episodes I think
ReplyDeletehahahah... probably... or the ABC executive is an alien too :D :D :D
ReplyDeleteThis is weird. Don't know about this one.
ReplyDeleteThat was random! Can't believe it's a genuine trailer.
ReplyDeleteKILL IT!! KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!
ReplyDeleteSeriously? I have to wonder how bad the other ABC pilots were that made THIS look good by comparison!
ReplyDeleteWTF?! Seriously... WTF?!
ReplyDeleteThis looks a bit too silly for my taste.
ReplyDeleteHahaha, that's funny, no where's the REAL trailer?...... Oh I see.... Wow, it's like Stepford Wives meets My Parents Are Aliens (90s UK Kids TV show). How truly dreadful.
ReplyDeleteWhat did I just watch? This has to be some kind of prank.
ReplyDeleteHahahahahahahahahhahaha.
ReplyDeleteI shiver thinking about worse pilots than this.
ReplyDeleteI love Dan Fogelman, but this is shit.
ReplyDeleteNo, this is wrong! Is this real?! Is ABC airing this?!
ReplyDeleteWouldn't even watch this thing with Walter's LSD!
Will not be watching.
ReplyDeleteI will give this a try.
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely not my cup of tea.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if I'm laughing at what they intended but that was so bad it was laughable
