  2. Thank you so much for this!

fist fighting is really not one of Jane's skills.
Stay down baby, wouldn't want to have a shiner on your pretty face  ;-)

Jane busted for assault, fraud, narcotic, resisting arrest!
And what did the girl say at the end? ... Jane's smile slipped away.
I think she told him that his freedom and his relation with that girl are RJ gift to him.

Did I hear all that right? The sound is awfull.

RJ paid Jane bail. they are both so obsessed with each other. It's kind of kinky :-)
And Lisbon isn't aware of what's happening to him? No way!

This is going to be an awesome finale. I wish they will keep that story arc for a few episodes next season. I love to see Jane on his own, depressed and totally lost without his job and the team at CBI.

"Hi I'm a conman, I steel from people" worst pick up line ever ;-D

  3. if anyone could hear anything from it, can they post it here so everyone can read it?

  4. I think she said: ”I do whatever RJ tells me to do”

  5. Trying but I'm not a native english speaker:

    girl in red: "Hey Patrick"
Jane: "I'm a con man. I steal from people"

Afro-american lady: "***?** about  Jane? It's too bad"
Lisbon : "too bad about what?"
AAL: "He got busted for assault, fraud, narcotic, resisting arrest ..."

Jane: "I didn't raised the bail"
cop: "Someone raised it for you"

Jane: "Nice to meet you again by the way."
    Girl in red: "**?**"
    Jane: "**?** "
Girl in red: "I did what RJ told me to do. Your freedom, our night together. That was a gift to you."

  6. Thank you SO SO much.. last lines made me O_O .. Whaaaaaaaaat? I can't believe they've given away this .. Now I can't really wait to see what happens...

  7. Here's what I think. Jane has spent the previous months convincing RJ that he is not haunted by the case and their history anymore and RJ, seeing as how he always had a fondness for Jane, is trying to "recruit" him as one of his disciples. The guy we saw last season's finale was also one his disciples I think.

  8.  "But obviously that does not happen as CBS needs this show for a million more seasons, and the case goes on. :)"

    Obviously XD

I would really like to know what is going on inside RJ mind. Why does he kill? Why he is obsessed about Jane? What about his followers? I get that he must remain "the enigma" but I'm dying to know more about that guy.

  9.  I think I have figured out one piece of information though. I tweeted that to the mentalist writers' twitter handle, but got no response.

I think, Red John and Bret Stiles share a common history. They both have intense intuitive and "brainwashing" capabilities. Remember the condition in which Kristina Frye was recovered? Bret Stiles used his skills to create a cult of followers and a massive financial empire around it. Red John in his own way, created his own cult of followers, but instead of money, he used to create a blanket of anonymity around himself (and also, of course, used it to fulfill whatever sick needs he has a serial killer).

  10. Bret Stiles is such an charismatic and intriguing character.

My idea is that RJ was one of Bret Stilles followers before he turned into a serial killer. That's were he acquired his manipulating skills and had the idea of creating a "killer cult".
That or Bret Stilles is RJ.

In his first encounter with Jane, he said that he knew RJ better than
anyone. I was disappointed Jane didn't grill him about that when they
    met again.

Didn't know about the mentalist writers twitter. Bookmarked it. Thanks for the tip!

  11. Im really confused right now...is the woman who says she does what RJ tells her to this potentially new love interest for Jane some spoilers were about???

  12. you're welcome.

I still think they were part of something together rather than Bret Stiles being his teacher. If I had to write it, I would write it that way.

I wished they would have given us bits and pieces of Red John's MO this season. I think one of the writers even said that we would get more insight into Red John's methods this season, although I maybe misremembering. But there was absolutely no movement in the Red John case this year and I don't think there will be any in the season finale too. I think this one's more about Jane's breakdown than Red John mysteries.

As much as a juicy mystery Red John case is, if they don't keep dropping hints and revealing the big picture piece by piece, people will lose interest.

  13. I think she is.

  14. Totally agree with you about RJ and the necessity to drop hints about him.
Without RJ, the mentalist would be just another duo-cop show like bones or castle.

Maybe RJ and BS where associates indeed. Hope we will see  Bret Stiles again.

There is also the blind woman. Another great character. She know RJ and Jane is just letting her be? No way.
He should be stalking her or uses her to bait RJ or I don't know what.
Jane is as much obsessed as RJ. He would not drop a serious lead.

  15. I'm confused too.

So Lorelai is working for RJ??!

  18. Me too.
RJ seems to be the one leading the game but Jane could surprise us.
