  2. Eleven is fine.

I almost want Blair to choose Dan, just to see the worst ratings in network history.

    ReplyDelete
  3. I will miss this show but it is time for it to end.

  4. Sad to see GG ending, on the other hand, I believe they got everything out of it as they could, and now they get a chance to write the perfect ending!

I don't watch it anymore but glad they will eb giving it a good send of with these  11 episodes.

  6. Just give us Derenna as endgame please, we have been waiting since the end of season 1

  7.  i honestly dont know what else has to happen in the series, i think this season should be the last one.

  8. PASSADA KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

  9. Funny It gets a 11 episode order instead of 13.As long as Nikita Is back I don't care what they do.I only pay attention to gossip Girl when Michelle Trachtenberg makes her recurring appearances.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Yeah but a final episode order is not so much about introducing new storylines... it is a way to end things properly, in a way that its loyal fanbase is not left with a lot of questions.

  11. GG season final...somehow it feels like this show was going to be on forever.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Wow, so I have to book that flight for November after all. 11 episodes from September - it fits.

    ReplyDelete
  13.  The worst ratings were last week, with the Chuck drama/Chair episode centric. I'm just saying!!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Oh and Jenny better be back, her reaction to DAIR will be priceless!!!

    ReplyDelete
  15.  That's some Smallville logic right there. It's just another episode in the heart of a polarizing storyline that saw many fans jump ship.

If she choose Dan, I expect it to come back to less than 600k viewers. Book it.

  16. I have one thing to say regarding this: THEY BETTER END THESE 11 EPISODES WITH CHAIR

    ReplyDelete
  17. 10 - 11 Episodes for GG.. and I think nikita will have 13 episodes!!

    ReplyDelete
  18. How many times do people have to repeat that the ratings argument is not valid before it sinks in?? Dair gets like 5-10 minutes screen time in a 42 minute episode and yet you are so sure they are the reason the show is shedding viewers???

    ReplyDelete
  19. Yes, I do. It's a small, internet heavy viewership and there's only ever been real interest in two or three characters in the last three seasons.

    ReplyDelete
  20. FINALLY!!! How survived this long is beyond me...

    ReplyDelete
  21. when people are getting revived, you know it's time to end

    ReplyDelete
  22. Chair fans have been saying that all season and the ratings have stayed pretty much the same (until the literal resurrection of Chuck's daddy issues). First Chair fans made up 99% of the audience, now they only represent a quater?

    ReplyDelete
  23. I'm ok with this... :)

    ReplyDelete
  24.  If Jenny comes back, I vote that she goes on a killing spree and doesn't stop 'til everyone is dead.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Apart from another apearance by Michelle Trachtenberg begging Taylor Momsen to come back for at least 1 appearance would be the most Intresting thing that could happened.

    ReplyDelete
  26. lmfao XDD this!!

    ReplyDelete
  27. I would say 11 is a gracious order and IMO way more than they deserve at the moment...

    ReplyDelete
  28. I'm going to need at least one of Taylor Momsen, Jessica Szohr, or Connor Paolo to return for at least ONE episode.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I'll vote for Connor for the sheer fact that unlike Jenny and Vanessa, I actually like Eric.

    ReplyDelete
  30. OMG finally!!!!!!! no more slutty Serena, Nate and Chuck!!!!!!!!!!!! that's 11 episodes too much!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Uhm, in reality if the dropping rates of audience remains the same
episode after episode, at some points the total of viewer will be below
    0. Do you ever count that in account? I mean, do you ever expect that
there'd be no one left who watches Gossip Girl? Of course not, it will
never happen even if the majority want Chuck and Blair together. So the
logic here is the number of droppers doesn't correlate with the number of CB supporters. There will always be a number of audiences who stay with
GG until the end, no matter which couple they support. About Chair fans
who make up the majority, I'm still pretty positive about this.

  32. I don't think dair is the cause of the bad ratings, i think all storylines are the cause of the bad ratings, and DB storyline is one of them, i don't think they have a good sl together, i don't get it. If they didn't give little shy kisses on the episodes i would think they're still just friends, their sl don't add nothing to the show, and now this Blair's diary thing, and Blerena fighting and Chuck's family issues, and Nate's having a sl based on guest stars, and guest stars being as boring as hell (HELLOW LOLA ANYONE ? ). The only good episode, REALLY good, this season was 5x22. Everyone stick together, Dan was kinda left out but it would make no sense for him to take part on the SL. Blair herself was there just to crack the code and she decided to go with them, but the only ones interested on Diana's secrets were Chuck, Nate, Serena and Lola (because of reasons i'll never know, she's part of that storyline)

But that was the ONLY episode i really enjoyed, the others or are just ok or ar really lame. What was 5x11 ? And 5x13 ? Or 5x07 ? Or 14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21... HAUAHAUAAUAHAUA REALLY, WHAT WAS THAT ? The writing is just ... i have no words.

  33. Great, if they didn't mess up season 5 so badly *cough*, they might have a chance to get a full season renewed but still, 11 episodes can be a pretty good deal since now they will not have time to explore *new, potential* storylines that no one cares about anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I suppose I'm good with it, even if it probably is more than the show deserved. Maybe they can fix this mess they've got going. Yeah, even as I said it I didn't believe it... still, I'll tune in.

What is WRONG with you all??? I absolutely LOVE Gossip Girl!! I know Chuck and Blair will get married at the end and I am waiting very nicely for it. I like the show because it is nothing like my life and it takes me away from reality for an hour each week. This is basiclly the only show I watch besides TVD. So I don't want it to end! I know at times it can be boring but I still love it!! Last weeks episode was great, I mean Serena in a head band, come on, classic! Anyway, why bother posting if all you do is bash the show? I don't understand that. I understand if you don't like a character or couple but why waste your time talking down the show, just don't watch! I read the books and watched since the beginning and I will continue. And when it's off the air I will watch all the Youtube videos! :)

    ReplyDelete
  36. glad its getting a final season, hopefully it will capture the glory of the early seasons

    ReplyDelete
  37. Dair ruined the show and so under the
    audience.

I hope and return to Jenny and Vanessa
Cause drama in the final season.

    ReplyDelete
  38. did they definitely say 11? i've read on another site it hadn't been decided if it was getting a full or partial season & their post was from an hour ago

    ReplyDelete
  39. I still think Jenny is Gossip Girl. And Eric can be the killer. It'll be the best season ever.

    ReplyDelete
  40.  He's probably the most unlikely to return though because of Revenge.

    ReplyDelete
  41. So it will be over with soon, talk about flogging a dead horse

    ReplyDelete
  42. probably for the best, don't get me wrong i love this show, but lately it's been getting worse and so hae the ratings

    ReplyDelete
  43. As much as i love this show, the storylines are pretty awful now, i'm glad they're getting a final season. The best series finale would be a Chair wedding!!!

    ReplyDelete
  44. I'm a fan of The Secret Circle, and it just doesn't make sense to me that a show with such awful ratings, negative fan reaction and higher costs would be renewed in place of it... Come on CW, Gossip Girl has had more than enough chances to recapture the early greatness, give another show a chance.

    ReplyDelete
  45. True (and how sensible for Conor to leave the show when he did...) but still I'll take Eric over Jenny and Vanessa any day!

    ReplyDelete
  46. How in the fuck is that even a season? Oh well i guess they won't need many episodes since we already know that Dair is endgame. hahahahahahaahah

    ReplyDelete
  47. Chair shippers make me positive that they allow the internet and computers in mental hospitals. Thank you chair shippers for making me feel SOOO much better about myself :) #DairEndgame

    ReplyDelete
  48. See, this is what ungrateful fans who boycott the show get... not even 13 episodes to end the show. I warned you guys but you wouldn't listen.

    ReplyDelete
  49. No, I think they might push it to January, like they did with OTH.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Okay, if any GG writers are listening, this what you do, you do a flash forward to get the characters to where you want them to be. Each of the least episode only focuses on one character at a time and their journey to how they got to where they are now via flashbacks. They could all be at reunion/funeral/wedding (Chair's perhaps, that's a sure fire way to go out on top with good ratings) and begin reflecting.

  51. Considering how those children were raised, none of this would surprise me.

Yeah, character-wise nobody is close to being resolved.

I imagine this will feel a lot like Greek's final 10 episode season. Lots of character work and development condensed.
