If fate were kind, it would be ALL of them. They're not anywhere near as popular as they used to be and they have gone on far too long. Time to move on.
I can't argue with that. Of course, I think you'd have to bare-knuckle fist fight Jerry Bruckheimer before that would happen. That guy likes a good franchise. He's chasing Dick Wolf's TV legacy.
I will be horribly disappointed if this is true. CBS will not only have a lost a great show, it will have lost at least one viewer... me. Anyone have confirmation from CBS on this?
It being canceled was to be expected. It had a good number of viewers for a Friday night, but very few of them were in the all-important 18-49 demographic.
An actual cancellation announcement from CBS usually they just leave stuff of the schedule. Not suprised this was cancelled ratings were awful and cast members had already moved on.
The success of American shows outside the US made no difference yet. THe producers/networks should start considering planetary audience and marketing opportunities worldwide. This criteria of only considering a certain part of the public to decide if a show goes on or gets cancelled is so frustrating.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Ooh. We have our first CBS drama cancellation. I wonder which CSI won't make the cut this year?
ReplyDeleteNo :( I really liked A Gifted Man
ReplyDeleteI really liked a Gifted Man, it was a good series!
ReplyDeleteThis comes as NO surprise... the show was okay, and it definitelly picked up pace halfway through, but I certainly didn't expect it to come back.
