    IT will be interesting to see what parts of her visions they play up and which they ignore. Some deal with prophecies that are in play and others deal with events that that will happen in the next season or two... Some could be ignored I guess. 

    To the reader we can connect those visions to certain events after the fact, but the viewer could possibly be spoilered I guess....

    Jaime is back. Can´t wait to see the scene with him and Brienne. 

    North of the wall is gonna be great, as are the Arya scenes.

    Cannot believe they gave Littlefinger a Sandor line AGAIN. They really are determined to properly set up the Sansa/Littlefinger thing. lol



    Ros is there for the finale. Of course.

    Jon's scenes are gonna be great, even if they're already different than in the books. The House of the Undying might be the one Dany storyline I like, if played well. Good to see Jaime/Brienne and Arya/Jaqen. I'm also kinda curious to see Theon's scenes.

    However, I don't think it'll be half as impressive as Blackwater, but well, I guess we knew that already.

    They really did sacrifice most SanSan moments for Littlefinger didn't they? 

    I'm not a huge SanSan fan like some, but I always liked their scenes together....  I do understand why they cut out that entire side story, but frankly the LF scenes with Sansa did not live up to the original scenes IMO.

    I'm interested in that too. It worked for Season nicely, but Season 1 was almost a self-contained story with a beginning and end unlike the rest of the books and/or seasons.

    To me it seems like there is so much material being crammed into each 10-episode season at this point that nine episodes of action and one of reflection and set up seems wasteful. I'm not sure each season needs or can afford a denouement.

    Nope, they didn't, not at all. I don't get it, Littlefinger will have his Sansa moments, a lot of them. Besides I'll bet there are far more SanSan shippers than Sansa/LF shippers among the book readers, so why piss off the fans?

    And yes, I am a pretty loyal SanSan fan. Maybe not a shipper, but definitely love the dynamic. That's why that last scene disappointed me so much. They took away pretty much everything that made it meaningful.

    But yeah, now that it's over, I can put my liking for this relationship to rest, at least until the next book comes out, which will be God knows when.

    I thought the same thing. Honestly, I'd be perfectly content with last night's episode acting as the finale. The third season could pick up with some of the reflection, and I think it could segue nicely into whatever events unfold afterward. I don't know what to expect from this finale, but I can't help but think it's going to feel pointless.

    Good news that the Finale is longer, still though, I'm worried about it. There is so much to get across in one episode, i'm expecting a lot of cutting.

    Blackwater was incredible though, maybe I'm being worried for no reason.

    I hope the next book comes out soon, but with George RR Martin it could just happen that the TV series finishes before the books do.

    Sooo.. Nobody curious about the Stark story? I was really hoping for a season finale with a battle of Stark versus Lannister for Kings Landing, finally the revenge for Rob Stark etc. But it seems like the whole Stark storyline is being deminished..

    I like Robb too. :)

    He is just off in the Riverlands battling Lannisters and cannot make his way SouthEast to King's Landing since Tywin and his armies are between Robb's army and KL. He is still trying to collect bannermen and strengthen his army before pushing for an assault of the size of King's Landing.

    I like Robb Stark, I can tell he's my favorite between all, and I was starting to think to be the only one who likes him, happy to know there are other Robb's fans.
    But I agree with you about the Stark storyline :(

    I like Robb too, though he is not one of my favorites. And I like the Starks stories. Robb is not a very big part of book 2, so we don´t see him as much this season (the same goes for Jaime Lannister). In season 1/book 1 in almost seems like this is a story about the Starks, but in the books that changes and a lot of new characters become very importend. 
    If you like to read, check out the books. They are really really good.

    A friend of mine is reading the books now. And he was at the chapter with the HotU and he was asking questions, who is who etc! I didn't remember a thing about Dany's visit since i read the books 5-6 years ago!

    I was shocked when I discovered how much detail did Martin put in there! As a first time reader you can't see it, because you don't understand them, but the visions are really spoilery!!! And some things are pretty significant for what you read later in the books!

     hmm but Daddy Lannister made it to KL pretty fast, even though he was in a hurry to do a suprise attack on Robb in the episode before this one..

    I really hope Stark family has a bigger role in the books? that could convince me to read.

    Every chapter in the books has focus on one of the characters. The Stark family does not play a bigger part in the books than in the series. But when you read the books you also get a very good feel for the remaining characters. 
    I love they way G.R.R. Martin writes, because you get to see that there is more than one side to every story. There are good people on the "wrong" side and bad people on the "good" side. And good people make the wrong decisions sometimes.
