BRAVE NEW WORLD, PART DEUX
Oh my Gene. It's here. Our last full-season of Fringe is at its climax. The last hour of entertainment (brought to you by Sprint, in case you forgot) before the final chapter, the final 13 episodes of Fringe. The only thing that separates us from the fate of our beloved Fringe division is one truly mind-bending episode in which we are introduced to Yellowverse's William Bell, and his moderately sociopathic ambitions (lol) who had successfully pulled off "killing himself" to not be tied down by such primitive things as human relationships, you know like the doting and helpful Nina Sharp of this timeline (where it seems everyone is abandoning her? Poor Nina) and has decided he's going to become God.
No offense Bell, but you're seriously off your rocker (and I mean that! How long do you expect to live to see your world? You have a tendency to die on this show over and over again) and I cannot wait for the inevitable moment that Walter finally makes all things right by 2 simple steps: loading a gun and pointing it in William's face. (Harsh I know, but can you imagine the acting ability of those two finally paired together in that scene!? OMGRAMMYSEMMYSOSCARS FOR EVERYONE)
And finally, we will see how everything in the past season (as well as season 1 in a way) is playing out in William Bell's endgame. We will see what Olivia and her unbelievable abilities will do, and if it means the end of the world as we know it, or the saving grace of our world(s). But most importantly, we will see if Astrid survives her gunshot (I realize that's not actually the most important thing, but NO ONE shoots my Astrid! No ONE!!!)
What do you say FRINGE FANATICS? ARE YOU READY FOR THE FINAL FRINGE FRIDAY OF SEASON FOUR!?

Happy Fringe Friday Wilson and Gang! I went out on a limb with my season 4 finale predictions, that IMO may reflect back to 'the day they died' and finally going home...
ReplyDelete*The nanobot technology will act as some kind of virus that gets out of the control and destroys the world.*Walter and Olivia will be killed.*Jessica Holt will return and works for Jones or William Bell and she is blood related to one of them and Meana Sharp. (Love child)*William Bell may be in deeper ca-hoots with the Observers....or trying to control them.*Peter will be severely distraught and/or face his own death and disappear and return near or in the machine, but the year is now 2014. *Maybe it will be Christmas Eve when Peter walks through the doors to find everyone alive...Olivia had a daughter.(and maybe blue Lincoln will be there, he has joined the Fringe Division in Peters absence.)WahMeans: Season 4 was an antii-matter ethereal plane that gives Peter insights to save his reality. Red William Bell (season 1-3 ) is alive and a villain to watch out for-along with Meana, and "Letters of Transit" is the future of the season 1-3 time line. The red universe still is apart of the story and both Henry and Henrietta and maybe Red Lincoln Lee also live.
Wow, interesting. We will certainly see tonight.
ReplyDeleteO.o
ReplyDeleteIf 2036 is suppose to happen then Olivia survives tonight cause her daughter cant be around in that year if olivia never has her
ReplyDeleteinteresting prediction for season 4 finale!! we need full season for this :(
ReplyDeleteHello again, Wilson. I'll just share some of my final thoughts and theories about tonight's episode. It may seem a little bit disoriented (like I'm on LSD), but that's only because I'm pretty much winging it:
ReplyDeleteAstrid will NOT die. She can't, not if we're going to 2036 next season.
Bell will extend his hand to Walter (just like Darth Sidious from Star Wars), to get him to join him in his "brave new world". Obviously Walter will refuse.
September's fuck-up in 1985 takes an incredibly twisted turn for the worse, because he inadvertently caused an infinite boot loop in the creation and destruction of the universe. What do I mean? The amber universe is actually a prequel to the universe from seasons 1-3; the events from seasons 1-3 lead to the Peterless universe being created, but the Peterless universe actually creates the first universe. Bell actually causes the Big Bang for THIS universe. I know it doesn't make a lot of sense, but it does.
The team doesn't go into amber just yet; that's for next season. Bell survives (because his clothing and especially his hair don't match the version from 2036).
There is a shapeshifter version of Jones. We see him again (and let's hope he gets cut in half again; his Peter-as-Olivia's-puppet death was horrible).
In 2036, the team use Bell's hand to break into the other universe in an effort to gain allies for the war against the Observers (Walternate, Fauxlivia, etc). The "beacon" that Walter designed will lock the Observers out of all universes (like September in A Short Story About Love). Alt-Lincoln is alive (thank God).
At some point (whether it's tonight or some point next season), we will see Peter in the machine with the ragged clothing. It may even be the last shot of the series.
Jessica Holt is the daughter of Jones and Meana. She will, however, help the Fringe team.
In the series finale, a new universe will be created; one in which everyone is finally happy, and all the baggage is finally let go. A "perfectly just" universe. The color will be white.
Watch the opening credits VERY closely for the name "Ulrich Thomsen". This was the voice of Mr. X in Lysergic Acid Diethylamide. If Bell is X (or at least close to X), he will appear again.
Olivia will use her Cortexiphan powers to stop a bullet from killing her (that's why the bullet on Etta's necklace was smashed). The regenerative powers that Cortexiphan has may save her life. She will probably fake her own death.
The Observers are not the spawn of Peter and Olivia. They are the descendants of the Cortexiphan children. Bell's reason for creating Cortexiphan in the first place was to see if a "better human being" could be made.
The ZFT cult (as seen in Nothing As It Seems) will resurface. Bell, however, will betray them. It would be easier to say Bell betrays EVERYONE that has helped him over the course of this season.
Because the Peterless universe is a prequel to the original universe, we may yet see the proper end to The Day We Died; where Peter finishes the speech he was making before he was erased. At least, I certainly hope so.
I think that's pretty much everything I wanted to say.
Go on Fringe4news http://wp.me/2dC20 4 The season is over!
ReplyDeleteNice, thank you Wilson for your point of view.
ReplyDelete* I believe that it might be a sort of a "The Road not Taken" ending... Astro has been shot {but will survive}.
*In the peekviews we heard Peter desperate scream : "Noooo"... So obviously a loved one will be "killed or been shot" ... Walter or Olive. We do know that September said that in all variable/possible futures Olive has to die still I'm convinced that they { our team } can "change" the future, all we need is one happening not predicted "by the observers" {eventhough they are coming from the future.}
*They also thought that Peter was erased and o dear, look who was bleading through???
So... Like Charlie said to Olive: "You're Gonna Be Fine" ...
*HUG*

HAPPY WATCHING, SWEETIE PIES!
♥
What? lol
ReplyDelete"You're Gonna Be Fine" Olive♥ ♥ I hope soooo
ReplyDeleteNIce pic!! as always :)
So scared of the finale! Astrid better be okay! Kind of going for the general fan theories that it will end with the team in Amber and Olivia probably kept somewhere by William/Jones/The Observes
ReplyDeleteTonight's Twitter Hashtag is #BuildABetterWorld
ReplyDeleteDarth, are you saying all this is taking place tonight,or tonight into next season?
ReplyDeleteIn honor of the season 4 finale , at my house, we're making strawberry shakes and drinking them with twizzlers! (if Astrid dies, i'm getting drunk :)))
ReplyDeleteOriginally was going to shave my head & dress up to 'Observe the Finale'.. but milkshakes are soooo much easier.. and tastier.
I guessing at then end of tonight...after the Bell mayhem, I predict Peter is going back to his time line and season 4 was an "experience" via the machine....
ReplyDeleteOne more time I will post my reason/research for the ethereal plane = season 4 (which ethereal plane is in the title sequence) and more specifically, Billy Idol's "Eyes Without A Face" song lyrics also may suggest so, as an instrumental version of the song played at the beginning of "Brave New World Pt1." Additionally A.Huxley (the author of the novel "Brave New World") was mentioned in "Bad Dreams" - "Reality is both subjective and malleable. If you can DREAM a better world, you can make a better world."
But the following post in the STV FRINGE Discussion Thread (the one where you see pics of the season 4 title sequence It's my third post down) is the more specific outline of these things: http://www.spoilertv.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=103&t=23356&start=120
Nice call with Walter and September and Bell and Olivia!
ReplyDeleteI do think this reality could have been a prequel. I originally thought so until I let everyone change my mind, but I think regardless of what season 4 really is, it will give clues and still in a hidden LSD kind of way relate to what's coming with the Observer Occupation!
I agree that in season 4 Bell is Mr. X. But I think in season 5 we will have to look out for Widmark (as I believe Mr. X changes in every time line, playing on shape-shifter = shifting-roles).
I also hope we see the Jones -esque shapeshifters, or see a an exact replica!
I agree that Bell will play "the Darth Sidious" role (another great call!)
Fingers crossed for good things! XD
Yep,i remember us discussing this after last weeks episode..but i will check out the forum a little later, thanks :)
ReplyDeleteHow Cute! <3 (And It's really scary how easy it is to think looking like an Observer is the way to go! )
ReplyDeleteGreat tune! Hope You Have Fun One!
