BRAVE NEW WORLD
Alright, so our story's end is set in stone. We have these final 15 episodes to find out what will become of our beloved FRINGE Division. Questions abound more than ever, and as we have seen in the last 2-3 episodes, it seems like we're finally getting a glimpse of what we should expect in the final installment of the Fringe series.
This is an unbelievable moment for us fans, as we're truly blessed to be able to see our incredible story get its due in a world of crumbling ratings and Orwellian Observers. Savor these moments, FRINGIES. We're more united than ever (have you seen the activity on STV in the Fringe section lately!? We're everywhere!) and we have what we need (licorice? Check. Strawberry-flavored death? Check. Frozen slushy treat? Check.) to see this through.
And it all starts tonight. What do you think will transpire on FRINGE tonight, folks? We have precious few hours to think and contemplate before we're allowed to witness the end of a chapter and the beginning of the end. What we face is a combination of adversity, love, and likely a few mind-crushing twists as well. What is the Observer's vagenda and how does DRJ's scheme come into play? Is his new "oasis" the foundation for an Observer invasion? Will Olivia have to sacrifice herself once and for all for the fate of us all? What else could possibly go right or wrong in this world?

As far as Olivia's rumored death.. i'm going to speculate that she is the
next to get locked out of the(all) universes i.e. Peter (tried to erase
him..) and September (imprisoned) ... possibly locked out by Bell.
I am really not sure how they will end it...part of me thinks it would be great to see them be ambered, but another part of me also likes going to 2015 at the beginning of season 5 and have flash forwards to 2036+...
ReplyDeleteI was really hoping for a L. Nimoy return, but showrunners seem to suggest that's not the case...so either someone channels Bell again, or we will probably have to wait till season 5 to find out what he did to Olivia! -If that's the case my next best guest is a reappearence of Roscoe Joyce, whom now may because of the loss of both child Peters may not have lost his son, and VSC may have lived on (and who knows maybe "green mana" will "emerge" or we will just get a cool new album with a cyber punk techno mix. Christopher Lloyd is a good choice not just because of what he means to Walter, but also because we're most likely going back to the future next season!
Also really excited for Rebecca Madder's character Jessica Holt (Note : Brave New World's title derives from Shakespear's "The Tempest", which is the name of the Dharma Station Charlotte and Daniel went to to save everyone from a second purges, which double purges are now another thing Lost and Fringe share!)

ReplyDeleteDriving home tonight.. thinking about how quickly the observers move.. what if Sept. takes her out of the universe as she's getting shot, puts her in a place like he took Peter in his mind & tells her to wait, and Sept. takes the bullet.. his hope is Peter puts it together and remembers the beacon.. can help olivia find her way back.. it just gets delayed by 20+ years b/c of the ambering.. The shooter could be Mr. X..

I expect we'll get to see baby Etta. If she's born this year she will be a cute little blonde 3-year old in 2015. She said she was 4 when she last saw her parents, so the apocalypse would have to occur in 2016 or later. Perhaps that will be next week's story? I do want to see what becomes of her after Olivia is gone and Peter is ambered. I would have thought Nina would take her in, but that didn't seem likely from what we saw of their relationship. So that's what I want. Etta. I want Simon too but I know I'm not going to get that :(
