Thanks to Richard for the heads up.

It's a little old but we'd not seen this news ourselves.

The horror comedy “Death Valley” will not be returning to MTV for a second season, show creator Spider One announced on Twitter Monday.

“There will be no season 2 of #DEATHVALLEY for MTV... BUT that is NOT the end! Looking for other possibilities!!” he tweeted.

A spokesperson for MTV could not immediately be reached.

     Yeah,neither did i. I don't even think one could have horror that is comedy,not since Rocky Horror but that was a movie...weird.

    I stumbled across this show.  It was kind of  like... Reno 911!  but better.  Twisted.  Stupid (in a fun way.)  Silly.  And more fun, imho, than Reno 911!  Like several 'go all out' comedies the hits were laugh out loud funny and the misses were painful.    


    I'm not surprised no one heard of it, the I only accidentally caught the promo last year some time.  They finished the 5 or 6 episode run last summy IIRC

    Stumbled on this on virgin media catchup - its well funny - they should carry on. If people knew about it then it would not have been cancelled!

    i found it the same way i'm gutted that they have canceled it i just
    watched the last episode last night i hope another channel buys it and
    maybe advertise it a more i can see people watching it if the know about
    it it like heroes didn't they cancel it and then bring it back a year or 2
    later and look how big that got it just needs better advertising is
    all.

    Had no idea this was on..found it on Netflix and watched all 12 Episodes..sad to find out it was cancelled, if more people knew it was on and had been advertised more it would of been a hit..Bring it back it is a fantastic show...

    Oh no , like most people I found this show by demand on accident. watched the entire series in one afternoon. I thought it was one of the most original and funny shows evr, truely gutted:(

    This show is by FAR one of my favorites as of recently!! Great comedy, lovable cast and story development. Above all, this show is completely ORIGINAL unlike most shows on TV today. It would be moronic if this show does not continue with a second season!!!

    Comedy, Action, ZOMBIES!!!

    Really though... Do these people even try to follow trends? I wonder if they even try to analyze amount of times this show has been searched for in cases of downloading or viewing "illegally" (Finders, Keepers rules exist on the internet as far as i'm concerned.)
    Fortunately, I found this on NETFLIX.
    IT WAS AWESOME WITH CHEESE ON TOP!

    much better then most of the crap on mtv now they should rather bring back music as the channel was meant for or have more shows like this instead of mind numbing shows like 16 and pregnant or stupid shit like that.

    I just finished watching season one again on Netflix && now craving for a season two .... I had watched this show when it first came out & now that I finally finish the season I want more of it && I really wanna know what happens with John-John & his partner 😉

    Death Valley was superb. Very clever and witty, also extremely gory. There were some excellent characters that I'll miss. The style of comedy was really quite refreshingly different. I loved this show. Honestly, I've rarely LOLed so much.
    I very, very much hope Spider One founds another outlet for Death Valley and creates a season 2.
