“CSI: Miami leaves an amazing television legacy – a signature look and style, global popularity and as a key player in CBS’s rise to the top over the past decade. We thank all the producers – led by Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman and Ann Donahue — and its talented cast, led by David Caruso, for 10 outstanding seasons. Viewers around the world will continue to enjoy rebroadcasts of “CSI: Miami” in syndication and on key digital platforms for many years to come.”

Happy about NY.
ReplyDeleteSeems like people like Sinise better than Caruso
ReplyDeletemost definitely ! from what I hear Miami has wayyyyy more fans then NY
ReplyDeletecsy miami canceled i really hope other network take it horatio character is a police icon or trademark we want all the team working together that show ROOOOOCKS comon fans ,tweet, facebooking do anything to put this show in other network
ReplyDeleteNooooooooooooooooo!!! CSI Miami is the only CSI I like :(
ReplyDeletemiami had more strong base fan and horatios character is more fashion & classic
ReplyDeleteNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI liked Miami more than New York, but ok... My fave is LV, so.. .:)
ReplyDeleteCSI MIAMI is rhe best!
ReplyDeleteNOOOOO!!!! this can't be happening!. Miami was my favorite show of all time. Can't believe they would just cancel it. Couldn't they just get one last season to properly wrap up all the story lines and characters?!?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteThe superior franchise lives on!
ReplyDeleteHuzzah!
Now, I wonder how many more years it will be before the public psyche and pop culture can erase Horatio's idiotic sunglasses Hokey Pokey from its mind.....
They have been talking about cancelling Miami for well over a year now, they should have wrapped up lose ends long ago. They had the opportunity,NY planned on it just in case,
ReplyDeleteNo your not in the minority, though some would like you to think so.I for one am happy NY was renewed..
ReplyDeleteNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! NO NO NO!!!! FUCK! SHIT! NOOOOOOOOOO! THIS ISN'T HAPPENING! DAMMIT! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
ReplyDeleteHa,not i. I stopped watching l o n g, l o n g ago and i still see those damn sunglasses!
ReplyDeleteYou are not alone.
ReplyDeleteI was the same way. It never appealed to me with its color-coordinated wardrobes every week and its colored lens filters in every other shot. Way too much style over substance.
Whoooooaaa, was not expecting that. Sorry Miami fans, bit of a shock no doubt. :(
ReplyDeleteThat's because CSI NY is doing fairly well considering its timeslot (friday), while Miami is doing badly.
ReplyDeleteMiami was always my least favourite of the franchise so I'm happy to see New York carry on !!
ReplyDeleteI never really liked Miami version too much, and honestly I was sure it was already cancelled, so no surprise here.
ReplyDeleteYay for NY! Congratulations!
I like NY better but its still sad to see Miami go:(
ReplyDeletejippppi at least 1 good think they chose NY over Miami juuuhuuu
ReplyDeleteThey should have cancelled both
ReplyDeleteThis makes me happy since NY is the only CSI I still watch.
ReplyDeleteGood for NY to be renewed. I know for the past two seasons, they've feared of a cancellation but I'm glad it's the CSI that could. Now Miami, I'm glad that's getting cancelled. HoCaine and his Sunglasses could not get off my screen fast enough and think about it; it's lasted for 10 semi ok seasons, so I think it's time to get cancelled.
ReplyDeleteNooooooooooo! I´m happy for CSI NY, but I love CSI Miami too, I don´t understand, well, 10 seasons are a lot of.
ReplyDeleteOh no, I'll miss you, Horatio Caine.
ReplyDeleteYES, ny was way more advancing in character insight then miami... For me anyways
ReplyDeleteGood for CSI: NY, I didn't watch CSI: Miami. I think it makes more sense being CSI: Miami has had more seasons and they should give CSI: NY a chance to get to 10 as well.
ReplyDeleteSame here!
ReplyDeleteI'm said but happy both weren't cancelled. I feel like right now NY is the better of the two and at least Miami got a ending that gave us a type of closer rather than a cliffhanger.
ReplyDeleteWell Frank, I guess we
ReplyDelete*puts on sunglasses*
just got axed.
YYYEEEAAHHH!!!!
hey, does anyone know if this had a cliffhanger? It would be a shame for any show to go on for 10 seasons to end in a cliffhanger. It was a good pass time for me and my brother to watch repeat episodes in and laugh at david caruso's awful acting. :D But I never know which season and which episode when watching.
ReplyDeleteI don't know sorry,i didn't watch.By reading the other comments i don't believe so.
ReplyDeletethey should have cancelled CSI: NY liked Miami better!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'll take NY over Miami. I'm not sad to see Miami go.
ReplyDeleteI hate the CSI franchise overall, but NY surprisingly isn't as painful to watch as LA and Miami (maybe it's because it has the best array of characters, even if that's not saying much)
ReplyDeleteI only watch the original, and out of the 2 spinoffs that I sampled, I liked NY better but that was only based on a couple eps for each...
ReplyDeleteNope you are not alone. I loved Vegas and New York. I really didnt like Miami at all. And I wanted to like it. But it very quickly started to get on my nerves. Just couldn't get into the show or the characters. All a little to plastic fantastic for me. And all that posturing with sunglasses just made me want to scream.
ReplyDeleteYeehaa CSI New York is back. Thank you CBS. I have really enjoyed these last two seasons of New York. It had been getting a bit stale but I think these last two seasons have been a great improvement. Thanks for giving us another season.
ReplyDeleteNot hard. Sinise is a better actor.
ReplyDeleteThrilled about NY being renewed. Not sad about Miami at all...it;s been a parody of itself for years now.
ReplyDeleteWell CSI NY didn't have to deal w/football and other sports to delay it. If the roles were reversed would it still have been like this???
ReplyDeleteNo it didn't end in a cliffhanger. All that happened was Calleigh decided to quit being a CSI. The last scene was most of the team meeting at a bar and caruso smiling. The End......
ReplyDeleteHappy for Gary Sinise and CSI NY, great Show! Sad about Unforgettble, oh well that is how it works.:(
ReplyDeleteWooo! Love CSI: NY it's my favourite of the 3 and one of my favourite shows!!!! I am happy to hear it'll return in the fall!!!!
ReplyDeletetotaly agree with u :)
ReplyDeleteWell said, definitely too much style over substance. But it was what everyone else seemed to like about it, go figure!!!
ReplyDeleteIf we all liked the same thing it would be boring. Sad for the Miami fans but they have had 10 seasons. SO glad NY will be back, even if its not the same gritty season 1 show I fell in love with. It still good. Plus Gary Sinise rocks.
Yes, I sooooooo glad they are keeping CSI:NY one of the best shows on TV, I don't watch much tv but this is one of the shows that I watch.
ReplyDeleteIf CSI Miami is being cancelled, I blame CBS for moving it around to Sunday. It is always hard to watch
ReplyDeletewith football and other sports events running late. I always watch the CSI's and do not want any of them cancelled!!!!!
Erase Horatio? You're talking about the show that was named The World's Most Popular TV Show a few years back, and one that has been on syndication in, I think almost all countries, for the last decade. So no, the fabulous sunglasses will continue to be a part of society for a super-duper long time *trollface*
ReplyDeleteBaywatch was at one time the most popular show in the world shown in around 150 countries on every continent except Anarctica.
ReplyDeleteRatings and quality and two VERY different things.
Yeah, but the ratings aren't good unless the quality of the show is good enough for the fans. In this case, about 10 mil. watched CSI: Miami in its latest seasons, and I don't think that it's because they were forced to sit down and watch, I think it was because they really loved the quality of the show. I know that I loved Miami because David Caruso actually had the guts to do a completely different character than anybody else on TV. And you know what? No matter how much people hate or dislike him or love the fact that Miami has gone away, nobody can deny that he made a good choice with how he built his character. 10 seasons, over 200 episodes and lots and LOTS of fans worldwide. He leaves a legend.

I'm not surprised since they kept it in a spot that was always delayed because of sports. It was hard to keep up when you can't watch it when it is supposed to be on. Even when I recorded it, I had to record the show after because the TV guide was never accurate. CBS screwed themselves out of a good show.
ReplyDeleteCSI Miami Is the only and the best CSI ever!!!!!!!!!!!I like to see CSI NY and LV too.....but I will miss ist so much....at the most David Caruso alias Lt.Horatio Caine......:-(
ReplyDeleteI gave up on Horatio some years ago, but I've been watching NY on endless syndication, as well as on CBS regularly.
ReplyDeleteI was never really fond of Sinese's acting before--it's always been difficult to see a lot of emotion in his face, but after the years with NY, you can see a lot more in his performance. I can understand, though, why they've gone through so many actresses as love interests for Mac Taylor--it's been hard to match someone to his temperament. I think Megan Dodds is a little too "soft" of a love interest, but perhaps that's what the character of Taylor needed--someone who is content in being in the background--the show already boasts 8 major characters!
I got a little too irritated with Stella Bonasera after awhile--Jo is a good counterpoint to her character--less strident, but more approachable. And I was glad to see at least some personal details and plotting with far more personal involvement than animatronics from the cast. Danny and Lindsay are a good fit, and Adam Ross is a gem, a gem with full geekhood, tinged with some neurotic tendencies! (Just glad that Buckley is a lot less neuroticisms!)
I always watch shows first for their characters, and if I "click" with the characters, I will always stick with a show. NY has a lot going for it, and I'm glad that it got renewed.
BOOOO CBS!!! No bueno!!
ReplyDeleteI never really liked Miami version too much, and honestly I was sure it was already cancelled, so no surprise here.
ReplyDeleteYay for NY! Congratulations!
Whoa wait what?! I haven't cared about any CSI in YEARS, but shouldn't that be reversed?
ReplyDeleteI may be in the minority but Miami is the only CSI I could never get into, so I'm happy that they kept NY over it.
ReplyDeleteThe superior franchise lives on!
ReplyDeleteHuzzah!
Now, I wonder how many more years it will be before the public psyche and pop culture can erase Horatio's idiotic sunglasses Hokey Pokey from its mind.....

ReplyDeleteFUCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK! Why CBS, WHY? CSI Miami was an awesome show!!!!!
