From what I understand, Burn Notice is ditching the case of the week format for at least the beginning of the season. I'll be interested to see how the creative change affects the show.
"I'm not giving up on her." I don't ship much but I hardcore ship Michael and Fiona. This makes me smile. Sam snark makes me laugh out loud. Can't wait until Burn Notice is back on my screen.
Agreed. Besides, I'm tired of every TV show dragging out the "omnipotent bad guy who's always one step ahead" story. Every crime show does it and hardly anyone has an interesting spin on it.
It always ends the same way too - done in by their own overconfidence. Anson has been talking us to death from the revelation that he was evil. Surely the smartest villains in the world have seen the negative results of the villain manifesto and gloat monologue. Shoot first, brag later, win more.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
This looks good, and wow is Fi causing trouble, trying the run from trouble,or trying to get out?
ReplyDeleteWhatever it is i'm freaking excited waiting for this season to start!!!
It really needs to be June 14 right now.

ReplyDeleteIf it gets Anson off Burn Notice faster, I'm all for it. He's more annoying than Brennan was and that takes talent.

ReplyDeleteYes. Too many bad guys suffer from "Bond villain monologue syndrome."
ReplyDelete"believe it or not, we are the good guys" that would make a great tag line for the show... :D
