    It reminded me a lot of Gilmore Girls - for obvious reasons - but I was surprised. I really liked it.

    I was very surprised by this show.

    First off, let me just say that I really wanted to dislike this show.  As far as I'm concerned, every new show that does well on ABC-F is a threat to the longevity of The Lying Game.  Anyway... I had some free time so, in spite of the fact that I had no interest in the premise, I watched this.  Well, damn it if it wasn't good.

    The pilot was much more oriented toward the adult characters than the kids and was full of fun, sophisticated humor and good one-liners.  Luckily for me, the show was a lot less centered around dancing than I thought it would be.  The show has a lot of heart and a lot of surprisingly honest dialogue.  The characters are likeable (except for the one or two who aren't supposed to be) and some characters are funny due to their quirkiness but it wouldn't be an Amy Sherman-Palladino show without one or two of those.

    What surprised me most of all was how the pilot ended.  I haven't read to much about this show so maybe the ending is common knowledge but it took me by surprise and I, unfortunately*, am very interested to see where the show goes from here.

    * - I say "unfortunately" because I was hoping to dislike the show.  If Bunheads can keep the interest who had no interest in the show to begin with and was rooting against it, it's definitely worth checking out at least for an episode or two.

    I wasn't expecting to like it either, but wow that was definitely promising. Love the humor and dialogue, and surprise ending. Major plans on watching this.

    the pilot was very slow for me,to much talking but the last scene the outcome will be interesting if the script and story line are credible and original if not smells cancel for me
