Last Man Standing and Happy Endings are locks for renewal.
Scandal is still set to return next season as buzz on that front is increasing.
They hear from multiple sources that Body of Proof‘s chances of renewal just shot up and it now looks likely to return.
GCB’s odds of renewal have dropped, and it now looks like the series will be cancelled.
Don’t Trust The B—- In Apartment 23 will return for next season, as will Private Practice (but word is that it will be for 13 episodes and that it will be the show’s last season).
Missing, Pan Am and The River are set to be officially cancelled.

CBS

Talk that CSI: Miami will be cancelled and CSI: NY renewed has been intensifying over the last couple of days.
NYC 22 IS set to be cancelled.
Rob and Unforgettable could still be renewed but more likely will be canned.
A shortened seventh season order for Rules of Engagement, for a mid-season launch is likely.

CW

Hart of Dixie and Gossip Girl will be back next season.
Ringer will be cancelled.
Nikita is looking likely for a renewal, while The Secret Circle is looking like it will be cancelled.

NBC

Harry's Law should be back with 13 episodes midseason.

  1. Good news for Hart Of Dixie. Gossip doesn't deserve a renewal : ratings and writing are awful.

  2. A 13 episode final season of PP will be a nice way to give the writers time to finish without having to screw up all the characters multiple times to give it a storyline.

  3. source is already in the article

  4. GG's ratings are actually on a par with HOD. If HOD deserves a renewal than so does GG especially considering the revenues it has pulled in for the network over the years. It will likely also come back as one of the highest earners in add rates next season too. If any of this seasons freshman shows are being renewed its only down to a lack of options for the CW, its as simple as they dont have the money to replace another show andthey want as much orinial programming on the netwrk as possible. I'm sure they would rather have cancelled HOD, Ringer, Nikita, TSC if they could but they cant and as it stands HOD is currently doing better than TSC. Ringer died a slow painful death, Nikita failed to retain its audience.

  5. Andrew Miller said they still haven't decided about TSC.... I'm still hoping for an season 2!

  6. I am very disappointed Awake will not be on the schedule next season. They could have made it a mid season replacement.

  7. No!! Secret circle has to come back that finale kicked ass!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Wait a minute, so gcb is likely to be cancelled with 2.0 in the ratings while Harry's law with just a measly 0.8 in the demos will come back, the heck?

    ReplyDelete
  9.  A good chance for a second season?? A show losing 2 millions of viewers with The Vampire Diaries in lead-in?? LMFAO!!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Happy about Dixie, it's mindless but I am hooked. Some great characters.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Happy about Hart of Dixie. I'd really like to hear something about Parks and Rec soon - really hoping it get's more than 30 Rock and Community's 13 episode order.

  12.  Last ratings :
    Gossip Girl : 830 000 viewers (0,4%)
    Hart Of Dixie : 1,3 million, (0,6%)

    Just sayin'!

    1. Hart of Dixie is in its first season ad gossip Girl is in its fifth. Just saying.

  13. check the weak before last week was a unusual rating for GG

  14. Don't get me started... with NBCs general status I was holding some (desperate) hope they'd consider the show's quality and crtitical praise and maybe give it a second shot.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Oh god please, let Nikita have a third season.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I don't believe anything for THE CW... Yesterday, the rumors were "Nikita will be cancelled", today "Nikita will be renewed" (even for The Secret Circle)... Well, I'm pretty sure than nobody knows for sure what is going on on the CW ;)

  17.  That's what i wanted too but i knew that was out of the question, but i thought maybe they would give it a mid season. This is a good, solid show with some pumping like you said i think it could have been a hit......ggrrrrrr!

  18. YAYing over: HoD, Apt23

Happy for: Nikita, Body of Proof, Last Man Standing (it really is a good traditional sitcom) and maybe Scandal (I still have issues with that show but it's not uninteresting)

Mourning: Awake, Bent GCB and Ringer (but Awake the most!)

Scratching head over: Whitney... (Really!?!?! I mean yeah... I'll admitt to having watched the show but really I knew exactly how bad it was even if it bacame a tad more watchable with time)

    ReplyDelete
  19. TVbtN just posted an article with a source saying Nikita will be canceled.  I don't think anyone truly knows what the CW is going to do because I don't think the CW knows.  By the end of next week, we will all know.

    ReplyDelete
  20. the CW promoted Nikita alot recently though and the cast has been sounding more optimistic lately i think devon sawa tweeted something that he would bet anything on Nikita season 3 recently

    ReplyDelete
  21. Glad to hear about BoP although I'm not watching it, but I hope they return next season with more powerful engaging season than this year's (esp. after their brush with death xD)

awake cancel is not fare, really good and original show

    ReplyDelete
  23. Tvbythenumbers is the only site stating TSC's renewal and Nikita's death. Everyone else says otherwise. However, The CW is in really bad shape and won't read the numbers to make their desitions. Nikita does well internationally and TSC sheds viewers from TVD. That's why Nikita will be back, TSC won't. Dixie is a lock for renewal as well.

  24. I'M kind of sad for Pan Am. I really liked that show, hoping for a miracle

    ReplyDelete
  25. Also most disappointed with Awake..

    ReplyDelete
  26. happy about Happy Endings, BoP and HoD but really want Unforgettable back!! And though they werent fantastic, I kinda like Bent and Chelsea on NBC too

    ReplyDelete
  27.  I tend not to believe them anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  28. hoooray for a full season for parks and recreation! YESS!!

    ReplyDelete
  29. wtf about awake? best show on the air besides homeland :(

    ReplyDelete
  30. I hope the rumors about CSI MIAMI  are only rumors,  CSI MIAMI and CSI NY deserve the renewal.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I'm disappointed that Ringer is cancelled!!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Keeping my fingers crossed for Nikita... the CW's best show by miles. If they just promoted it better, it could succeed, even on that Friday night death-slot. A lot of people aren't even aware the show exists.

    ReplyDelete
  33.  Too bad that GG is making money while HOD only costs.

    ReplyDelete
  34. A show that is 50/50 between being renewed or cancelled.

    ReplyDelete
  35. full season? the word is there getting a short order season like Community=/

    ReplyDelete
  36. Secret circle deserves renewal. I think there is much more to show the fans, I loved the finale. They left us with all of season 1s questions answered but left us with a few questions for next season. What are those other balcoin children like. Are they like blackwell? Will cassie or diana join them? Who is cassie gunna live with till she's an adult? Will adam try some dark magic? Will cassie and adam end up together? What about melissa? Will she finally get some luck in happiness? And charles and dawn? Dawns got her magic back, wonder what she's like with magic. And charles even though he did some shitty things, he tryed really hard in the finale to make things right. What's going to happen now with the demons he took in, and the magic he has now? And theen there's faye, will she ever be a noble character like the rest of them? Or just a bitch? And what happens with her and jake? Will he screw her over again or will it work this time? And of course the obviouse question... what was jakes grandfather talking about in his note? And what was in the vile thing? So many questions.. how could they not renew this. Get it away from tvd, its killing the viewership. Move it to Wednesday or Tuesday. And air it at 8, show repeats in between episodes. And frigging promote it more. Come on cw don't blow this. Every show I get invested in on the cw network gets cancelled way to early. Why have a good show start and get people interested then cancel it premature. Not fair. Secret Circle deserves a season 2 don't dissapoint!!

    ReplyDelete
  37. I spoke to Jeff Tobler yesterday (WB exec) and he told me that a decision has been made on all CW shows but won't be available until up-fonts. Apparently The CW has already made their schedule.

I'm just hoping NIKITA is on it!

    ReplyDelete
  38. not unexpected

    ReplyDelete
  39. TVOVERMIND are saying Arrow and SPN will be paired together and not on Friday, so will SPN move off Friday?

They are also claiming that several bubble shows will come back for reduced episode order seasons, good news for some shows.

    ReplyDelete
  40. They are just guessing.

We won't get the details until the upfronts nexts week and even then might not even know the airing scheduling for a while after that.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Can i get a link please?

    ReplyDelete
  42. CW renew all! and let us all happy! xD

    ReplyDelete
  43. yep pretty much, great idea though pairing Arrow and SPN even though its unlikely to ever happen. I dont see the CW moving SPN from Friday. The possibility of some bubble shows coming back for reduced episode orders seems believable though. Its just a case of which ones and where do they place in the schedule?

    ReplyDelete
  44. Yep, pretty much all sites are saying the same sort of things.

TBH the only site that I trust and has real insider knowledge is Deadline. They have a terrific track record of breaking these sorts of things.

I agree about SPN. I can't see them moving it either.

    ReplyDelete
  45. CW will never premiere a new show on Friday. And they won't be moving supernatural.
Supernatural Is at Smallville point where the network Isn't intrested In lot of promation for It.Puts It on night where the fanbase will help It do decently where a new show would not.Mark my word Arrow Is most likely going to air after The Vampire Diares.

    ReplyDelete
  46. TVBTN also has been known to claim certain cancellations for Fringe, Chuck, and Dollhouse in the past. Noticing how wrong they've been lately the now have the "toss up/it can go either way' so so matter what happens they can claim they weren't wrong. Tools.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Exactly.

That's why we have our own cancellation table which is based purely on numbers. We don't put our "spin" on things or our personal bias. We let the numbers do the talking.

We know the table is not perfect but I'd rather do it this way than the way TVBTN do.

  48. Nikitaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  49. so will hart of dixie have a full season ???!!!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Bring back both Nikita and The Secret Circle for reduced episode orders?

    ReplyDelete
  51. Nikita is dead:

    http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2012/05/10/source-things-look-bleak-for-nikita-parenthood-a-lock-for-renewal/133306/

I think this source is more reliable.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Great news for Hart of Dixie and Nikita =D GG should get a 13-episode order, just like Private Practice, both shows deserve the time to get closure on their storylines (hate it when shows end with huge cliffhangers that are never resolved)

    ReplyDelete
  53. Poor Awake, one of the best new shows of the year with some of the worst numbers for viewers.

    ReplyDelete
  54. No it's not.TVBythenumbers have been wrong already with Fox bringing baack fringe and NBC Is likely to bring back Harry's law for 13 episodes.

TVLine and Deadline have Nikika as safe beat or likely to return.TVbythenumbers should be Ignored.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I really want a 2nd season for Unforgettable and HoD

    ReplyDelete
  56. Complete bullshit about secret circle. Never watching the cw again.

    ReplyDelete
  57. CW renew all! and let us all happy! xD
