A&E have cancelled Breakout Kings. Matt Olmstead who co-created the series has signed up for Chicago Fire.

  1. Not surprising. It just couldn't hold my interest. The best thing about the show was the T-Bag episode.

  2. Mmh, yeah. I kind of suspected that something like this would happen when Matt Olmstead was announced as Chicago Fire's executive producer/showrunner a couple of days ago.

  3. Screw you, A&E.  I'm sure you'll fill the void with various distasteful reality shows.

  23. This. I thought the second season really upped the quality in terms of writing/plot/acting and am so disappointed to see it cancelled.
