I think the timing is right. That’s a big important thing, timing. There have been movies out there of characters that I didn’t think were on the same parallel as ALF that got movies made, so I think it’s time. I think it could be a home run on a lot of levels.”

    I really hated this show back in the day. My husband enjoyed it though and even bought the DVD boxes. I really don't understand why. I just hope there is no movie, otherwise he'll probably drag me to watch it as I made him watch Sex and the City 1 on DVD (I know the movie is crap, but the purses are so pretty!).

      I never liked Alf either,it seemed so stupid at the time,i thank the lord my husband didn't like Alf.!

    Yes, lovely lovely shoes (and I am a bag person, but the shoes were gorgeous too)!

    That's it, Alf always seemed stupid to me. Perhaps is exactly this "innocence" and naivité that people appreciate on the show...but for me it was just plain stupid.

    Alf actually was a very urbane comedy which pokes fun at the Human condition. This is from the point of view from an Alien who eats cats!
