  1. Yay! I thought for sure I was going to lose Body of Proof. Loving Scandal!

  2. Really? I thought they had quite a few pilots that they liked.

  3. That's funny and kind of awesome at the same time.  I like this "screw these pilots, let's see what the other guys have" attitude.

  4. I don't know why but I cackled reading this.

  5. Midnight Sun can be picked up by ABC. I know it sounds weird, but part of that pilot is basically Dharma Initiative in Alaska.

  6. ....excuse me? Is this some sick joke?

  8. Now I'm curious which pilots they are interested in...

  9. That's too bad.  I was looking forward to a few of their pilots.  I'm kind of hoping The CW takes interest in 666 Park Avenue for mid-season.  I think it'd fit their brand.

  10. hates it's pilots? what? i went to variety and it doesn't say that

  11. Oh okay, the title of this was just misleading to say that ABC "hated" their pilots. It made it sound like they were about to can their entire development slate.

However, besides the Modern Family creator's comedy, I think that ABC should can SCANDAL and BODY OF PROOF to bring more new shows. They have a very creatively diverse number of hour-long series that I would love to see ordered to series.

  12. This sounds odd especially seeing that the article cited says nothing about "hates."
....plus I thought there were a couple of things that seemed to be working for them...? *shrugs*

  13. Keep Scandal. Can Body of Dana Delany.

  14. That's enough to get me somewhat interested.

  15. Yeah, sorry, but the title of this post is not at all up to the standard that we've come to expect and respect from SpoilerTV...

  16. I agree - there's been a few problems with sensationalist and downright misleading headlines by this poster. Not to mention the fact that he's used the same article for multiple postings, and not always including the source.

  17. Body of Proof needs a renew fast. Scandal too.

  18.  Where has he used the same article for multiple postings?

  19. I just hope they renew private practice and scandal

  20. YAY! THANK YOU ABC! You won't regret renewing Body of Proof! :D

  21. Yes, I really want BOP it's a great show and I hope it does get another season.

  22. ABC would have to be stupid to get rid of Body of Proof. Body of Proof brings in millions of dollars to ABC studios. Its also Paul Lee's favorite show.

  23. + SuperduperAwasomeSause cast? Titus Welliver, Julia Stiles, Michael Raymond-James, Emma Bell (The Walking Dead), that guy from Quantum of Solance, Connor O`Farrell (The Pacific/CSI) and so on.

Feel the new season could be more fun if Midnight Sun (and Last Resort) got picked up. We need some exciting new shows besides The Following witch is midseason. Everything else is just....not so eyepopping.

At least the new season seems to focus on more steady and cheaper dramas than Alcatraz and Terra Nova.

  24. Clearly I don't pay as much attention to the new pilot info as I should. :P That cast list absolutely gets me excited all by itself!

Scandal! I really hope this is true! Season 2 has to happen!

  26. Are they serious? One time, just this one time they actually have interesting enough shows and they're gonna leave them out... What a dumb network, really!

  27. Yeah not unexpected, there was some word going round that ABC werent particularly impressed with a lot of thier pilots. They seemed to have cooled off on a few of them especially the comedies.

  28. I am glad for Body of Proof because I like Dana Delany and the show.

  29. Only one of the pilots I have heard that they are going to go with is Malibu Country out of the comedies they originally ordered pilots on.
