    Poor Alaric! Really not a good position to be in. "Jekyll + Hyde" LOL Damon;)
    And it looks like everyone is asking Elena about her feelings. It'd be nice if she was finally aware of them.

    For the two and half seasons or so, Damon has been the one pushing Elena to figure out her feelings for him.  Now it comes time for her to figure it out, and everyone seems to be in on it but him.  And even if she does finally acknowledge whatever it is she feels for him, it might too late because he seems bound and determined to steer her towards Stefan, who in turn seems determined to have Elena get over her feelings for Damon before they figure out their stuff.  Which is to say, irony bites like a rabid pit bull, and also, Elena needs to get a handle on this quickly because this is a lot of romantic drama they shouldn't be having in the middle of all the supernatural drama they're having.

    The "Jekyll and Hyde" thing was a nice touch.  Damon is hilarious, Elena.

    Why would Alaric ask if Elena has feelings for Damon when he most likely knows the answer to that question already?  Hell, Alaric was asking if there was anything going on with those two half a season ago.

    Agreed.  I get that Elena often has issues with Damon's behavior but she is way too judgmental and uptight about things like this.  When Elena acts this way I have to question whether she understands Alaric and Damon's relationship at all.

    only one who thinks it's weird that Elena and Damon go on a road trip? Alone? And
    it's Stefans idea?


    If Stefan
    is afraid, Elena has feelings for Damon shouldn't it be in his interest to keep
    them away from each other?


    On the
    other side: they have to clear things out. We don't want the 1864 disaster all
    over again.


    I just
    can't wait for the trip. I love Damon and Elena being together.

    everyone is asking Elena about her feelings for Damon.


    Since S1
    it's clear, that he has feelings for her. So there is no point in asking him. Now
    back there, not now.


    She loved
    Stefan, so her feelings for Damon didn't matter until now. She liked him, she
    hated him (Damon). Everyone new. Now Damon and Elena kissed. Twice. Everyone wants
    to know where this is headed.

     I get where he's coming from. I think he is confident she'll choose him, but at the same time, he wants to make sure she acknoledges whatever feelings she has for Damon. They don't want another Katherine situation.

    I think it's more like, Stefan wants Elena to explore her feelings for Damon and then actually CHOOSE him over Damon. I think he'd rather that happen than try and keep Elena away from Damon and always worry about the possibility of "Delena".

    Well,
    Stefan also has to make up his mind (not just Elena). After he was free from
    Klaus he still rejected Elena. Now he is worried, because she might have
    feelings for Damon? Come on!


    If he loves
    her, he must tell her, not reject her. Then he can be worried about her
    feelings for his brother.


    If he
    doesn't love her, he should let her go. But then he has no right to be upset if
    she loves Damon.


    He can't
    have it both ways. Elena loving him without being with him and rejecting his
    brother at the same time (if she loves him too).


    Get real
    Stefan!


    Katherine
    situation? I call it "1864 dissaster"


    Besides:
    why can't she have them both? Katherine (I prefer Katerina) didn't loved them. She
    used them, manipulated them and played them against each other. Elena is
    nothing like that. She loves them both. She wants them to get along with each other.
    She never admitted what she feels for Damon (not even to herself), because she
    didn't want the brothers to fall apart and fight over her

    I just think that's where he's coming from. Personally I think he's making a big unneeded risk.
