  1. I was going to ask that exact same question!

  2. She's playing Eric Northman's bloodsucking, Godric-made vampire sister, Nora. "She's an irreverent British lady who we think was turned during Elizabethan or Victorian times," Lucy reveals. "It's been years since she's seen Eric, and she is very excited. She looks up to him, but they've had a fiery love/hate relationship in the way that brothers and sisters do." Nora is also part of the Vampire Authority ruling council, which will play a big part in the new season.

  9. Yes- very new, as Eric doesn't have a sister, only a brother, Alexi.  Alexi, as in the Son of the Romanov Tsar's.

  13. Someone needs to glamour Alan Ball into getting back on track with the books because these new story lines are ridiculous and he just keeps bringing in new characters of his own invention and I don't really see the point of it, sorry for ranting (but not really)

  14. Thanks! I wondering the same thing as those above!

  15. Well I din't read TSVMY, but instead read THCMS (Grave Site, ect) which I started right before True Blood's season 4 premiere.

Just from that I can tell that Alan Ball picked up the best traits of CH's work. So I disagree with those that say that because the story is different, goes against the points and stylization of Harris' works. There is no way I could read another one of her works while watching True Blood and feel that they belong in same universe if Alan Ball wasn't keen to Harris' uniqueness as a writer.
