The ODI and CJ are back with their views on the latest TV and Movies. We talk about Fringe (4x16), the latest episode of Awake (1x05) and the latest helping of Person of Interest (1x18). And CJ rounds up some of the other shows out there including Castle, Supernatural, New Girl, Big Bang Theory and new show Touch. We finish off with the latest movie news including the new trailer for Total Recall.
Weekly Topic: If you could combine 2 shows together to make an even better show, what would they be?
Imagine that you could combine 2 of your favourite’s shows together. Maybe it is because they are similar types of shows, or that you feel the characters would interact together well. It may even be that the shows are total opposites and you want to see how they would work together. But what would you choose? The ODI and CJ discuss some of the possibilities. Some of the shows included are:
24, American Horror Story, Awake, Big Bang Theory, Buffy, Castle, CSI, Deadwood, Friends, Fringe, Heroes, How I Met Your Mother, Little House on the Prairie, LOST, Modern Family, Person of Interest, Psych, Seinfeld, Smallville, Supernatural, The Smurfs, The Walking Dead, The X Files, Touch and White Collar (some you could not predict what we joined together)

Ooooh, I'm intrigued by the prospect of combining some of these shows... can't wait to listen! Personally, I always thought it'd be cool if the Winchester brothers met Buffy haha

ReplyDeleteI'd just combine Fringe with any show that has it's cast going around in less clothing and has more sexy times. That's all.

ReplyDeleteooh it would definitely be Fringe and Buffy - I just can't imagine how much more hilarious and crazy Walter would be if Joss Whedon was writing him :D And Olivia and Buffy would make an awesome team!

ReplyDeleteHum I think I would like to see Psych and Bones together, I don't think would be easy to Shawn to convince Brennan just because he felt something.
I haven't watched Prison Break, but I still would like to see a mix with Breakout Kings.
And I also would say Touch and Grey's Anatomy, cause I love Grey's and would be so nice too see that some people are sick or at the hospital in that special moment because some special/important reason.
Off course I totally enjoyed "CJ’s TV Round-up" imagine 10 minutes just of CJ's accent .. lol .. just kidding .. I enjoyed it but of course because of the shows.
New Girl is very funny! Castle and Beckett need to be together soon! I think Big Bang is funny, but it was better in the past and I'm also enjoying Touch episodes! =)
About the movies I'm very excited to see Avengers! =D

I would like to see Justified and Sons of Anarchy combined. Seeing Raylan trying to take Jax and Samcro down would be awesome. Though I would not want to see any of the characters shot, and with Raylan in Charming your chances of that happening would be pretty big.
ReplyDeleteI think combining a comedy with a drama would be fun. Imagine Community with Fringe, it might just be insane enough to work.

Hank/Art? WHO WOULDN'T WANT TO SEE THAT?

ReplyDeleteMystic Falls needs to be cleansed of vampires and who better to do the job than Sam and Dean.
Only thing is Mystic Falls would probably become a ghost town as those left alive who are not vampires could surely be counted on the fingers of one hand. :)
Desperate Housewives and The Walking Dead seems like a good pair to me.

touch and fringe the opening credits secuence at the begining then story line a combination of the best writer from both series will be awesome
