  1. "That is the sound of movie ticket holders demanding their money back." Yes! Looks like the show is getting back on track. I love it.

  2. Lol, metacommentary much? THIS IS THE MOVIE STAR WHO WILL SAVE THE SHOW.

  3. Show has been renewed and was good before her, so no...just some internal drama

  4. I don't mean purposeful metacommentary. Obviously. Why would a show admit to not doing so well? The pilot was fantastic, but more recently, we've been treated to dialogue such as "it exploded my world... like a bombshell." So, I was laughing at the correlation between the show's plot as well as what *might* happen outside of the show. It doesn't need saving renewalwise, but it needs to stop being so mediocre.

Either way at least the music is excellent.

  5. Yup, a bombshell seemed melodramatic, but show still is interesting (at last for me, and I hate musicals)

  6. I never said it wasn't interesting. Mediocre things can be interesting. I'm suggesting that it could be better if they stepped it up a notch. I mean, that's necessarily true of everything obviously. My concern here is that the writing is often awful. The cast is fantastic, but there's only so much they can do with such awkwardly phrased lines.

  7. Agreed 100%. I mainly watch it because I love theater as a topic

  8. It's really cool, isn't it :)? I guess some of my other disappointment comes from the pre-air buzz calling it the "west wing" of the theatre world. So I was looking for some sort of revelatory drama of high calibre and instead got kind of a fun anti-glee.
